“I've used Roto Rooter for years and I've recommended them to anyone who has any sort of plumbing problem. My last interaction with them was definitely out of the norm from my experiences with them in the past but it's turned me off from recommending them. I had a water heater leak and scheduled a tech to come out. Agreed to the $60 fee for inspection - which is waived if you agree to the service. After the 2 hour time frame for my service passed without any communication I figured I should call and see if maybe my scheduling didn't go through or maybe someone's job is taking more time. I was transferred to dispatch and the lady on the phone asked how she can help me and I said I haven't had anyone come out for my service and if there is an ETA. The person then got confrontational "Sir, I called you and you didn't pick up. I even left you multiple voice mails. Like I explained the technician has another job before you and you will be next." I said "That's weird because I don't see any missed calls or a voice mail." She said some number that wasn't mine and I told her that isn't me. She asked for my name, which I repeated multiple times but she kept saying a different name over and ”
