About
Texas Heaters operates as a straight-up plumbing outfit based in Hutto, Texas. They focus on water heater work and general plumbing repairs that homeowners run into around here, from old tank units to modern tankless setups. The crew handles calls for service on brands like Rinnai and Navien, plus installs that involve pulling out heavy equipment from attics and running new lines. No fancy talk, just the kind of plumbers who show up with tools ready and get the job done without dragging things out.
Their day-to-day work covers annual descaling on tankless units, full water heater replacements, and odd jobs like fitting a new bathroom vanity in an old house. One tech named Garrett pulled a Bradford White 40-gallon heater from an attic, ran a fresh 1-inch gas line from the meter, built a frame for a Navien NPE 180A2 recirculating model, and finished the whole swap in about five hours. Another time he handled a sink install, checking every angle to avoid leaks and matching the existing look. Customers like Paul Russo got honest answers on adding a whole-home filter or expansion tank during a descaling visit, while John Signorino saw a new heater go in after one phone call with everything on schedule.
Homeowners in Hutto keep coming back because the work holds up under real use and the crew moves fast when pipes or heaters fail. Response times stay quick, prices land fair without surprise add-ons, and techs explain options clearly before starting. Quality shows in leak-free results and solid installs that last, whether it's attic work or simple fixture fixes. Communication stays direct from the first call through cleanup. What Customers Say
“Called Texas Water Heaters for an annual descaling on my Rinnai tankless unit, first service since I bought the house. They were on time, professional, and the technician took time to answer all my questions honestly. Asked him about a whole-home water filtration system and a thermal expansion tank and he gave me a straight, no-BS breakdown of what’s worth it and what isn’t, which I really appreciated after getting some questionable advice from another company. Will definitely be using them again.”
“Excellent Service! I made one phone call and the job (a new water heater) was done right and on time. I will definitely use Texas Water Heaters again.”
“Garrett from Texas Water Heaters showed up at 8:30am and was finished around 5 hours later. He removed the Bradford White 40 gallon hot water heater from the attic, ran a new 1" gas line from the gas meter, built the new frame to hang the new Navien NPE 180A2 recirculating tankless heater, and reran the drain, exhaust, and condensing lines. Afterwards, he throughly explained the operation of the tankless heater and how to take care of it. My first two showers yesterday and today were such an improvement over my 40 gallon water heater, which never seemed to have enough hot water for a shower, despite it only being 4.5 years old, and being maintained. I would have to adjust the faucet handle every 2-3 minutes, continually moving it to add heat to the water. With the tankless, once I set the faucet handle to a comfortable setting, the temperature stayed the same for the entire shower. Yea! I found Texas Water Heaters to be priced more reasonably than a another well know company in the Austin area that gave me a quote 5 months ago when I had the old hot water heater flushed. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. Since water heaters are what they specialize in, they know how to quickly and efficiently install them. Like I said, I thought it would be an all day event, but only took 5 hours. Check them out if you are looking for a hot water heater replacement, especially a tankless. Bruce C Round Rock”
“Garrett was awesome. He did a bathroom vanity/sink install for me. He was on time, quick, solution oriented for my weird old-house bathroom, and was super communicative. He doublechecked on everything aesthetic with me and ensured it was setup with no leaks. Will be calling Texas Water Heaters again!”
“We had our tankless water heaters serviced yesterday. We hadn't cleaned them in probably two years and they were very dirty. Our technician explained what makes them dirty, how that stresses the system and gave us lots of other interesting information as to how to have a better system that should last us a long time. I really appreciated his insight and the time he took to talk to my husband and I. TWH is not a company out to rip you off or suggest things you don't need which seems a rarity these days.”
