About

Mend operates as a veteran-owned plumbing outfit based right in New Braunfels, Texas, where they focus on residential and commercial work across Comal County and into San Antonio. With thirty years of experience under their belt and licenses including RMP M-43246 plus TCEQ BPO025263 for backflow, the crew handles the tough local conditions that come with some of the hardest water in the state. They know the mix of historic limestone homes in Gruene, neighborhoods around Landa Park, and newer builds in places like Vintage Oaks and along Highway 46. Municipal water hardness often tops twenty grains per gallon here, which shortens the life of fixtures, appliances, and water heaters, so Mend steps in with straightforward fixes that match what homeowners actually face in this fast-growing area.

They handle everything from water heater replacements that fail early due to scale buildup to clearing clogged shower heads, repairing dishwashers and washing machines worn down by mineral deposits, and addressing leaks in both old and new construction. The team works on backflow prevention, full residential service calls, and commercial jobs while serving the Comal River corridor and surrounding communities. Calls or texts to 210-500-9085 get quick responses for emergencies or scheduled work, and they cover the diverse housing stock from established districts to expanding subdivisions without unnecessary upsells. This approach keeps systems running despite the constant mineral load that New Braunfels water puts on pipes and equipment.

Customers consistently praise the crew for showing up fast, delivering solid repairs that hold up, keeping costs reasonable, and explaining options clearly without pressure. High marks across response speed, work quality, fair pricing, and communication show why homeowners return when hard water causes the next issue. Mend earns its standing through reliable service that fits the real demands of local plumbing rather than generic promises. DIRT Score 5.0 from 254 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Project Mend was there for me when I needed a knee scooter in the most critical time of my life!! The insurance was giving me the run about! I just had surgery on my left ankle on the 26th of December, so I decided to call Project Mend, I was given the knee scooter at the blink of an eye!! Praises to Jesus for their help!! Blessings from above!!

I really enjoyed visiting this place. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We went into get a gently used item to help with assistance in walking. The item that we were able to receive was more than we expected. Not only can this thing help with long distance walking it also has a seat that can sit either way has brakes and has foot pedals to be able to relax your feet when I push my patient when they get tired. I also saw more equipment in their warehouse that may be able to be used in the future as needed in any case. There was a one-time fee but that allowed access to equipment that maybe needed in the future and hopefully not soon. We were able to be mobile again. Thank you Staff members for all of your help. And thank you for the tutorial on how to use the equipment in a safe manner.

My Mom needed a scooter ramp ,but is on a fixed income. I called and "David" was extremely helpful! We paid the $20 intro fee, provided the required prescription from the Dr., and picked up the "Brand new" ramp the next day! David and the crew at Project Mend are truly a God sent blessing! They truly enjoy their job! Thank you ALL!

Excelente service, made a phone call and when I got to there location I got my moms bathroom chair. No waiting, no turn around, they had everything ready to go as soon as I got there. Would truly recommend this place. Specially being from out town, no need to come back the next day. Thank you protect Mend for everything you do.

The entire staff at Project Mend was very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty from beginning to end. I was on the waiting list for a year and kept calling Project Mend to see if a scooter was available. From Emily (case manager) calling me to tell me that a scooter was available, to Carlos (supervising mechanic) hooking me up with a lightweight scooter, and then to Michael (director) who delivered a working power cord to me at Walmart on his way home from work when mine malfunctioned, everyone was very courteous and helpful. I’m a big fan!
