“I had to replace a water heater that was still under warranty. The gentleman that installed it were very courteous and professional. They had to come back a 2nd time due to a technical problem with the water. Speaking with Victoria to have the guys come back out was very accommodating. If I need a plumber in the future they will be my first choice.”

They even threatened to involve the Sheriff if the payment wasn't made. I am willing to pay a reasonable cost for the replacement, but not to be overcharged. “San Marcos Plumbing was a life saver today! We are a boarding facility that is housing over 60 animals, and we had an issue that forced us to turn our water off. I called multiple plumbers, but the earliest anyone could get here was days from now. When I explained our situation to a very nice lady at San Marcos Plumbing, she rearranged their schedule so that someone could come out within the hour. The gentleman that came out was also very nice and fixed the problem very quickly. It was a great experience from beginning to end!”

“I had a every unpleasant experience when I called the company even though the whole phone call lasted for only 4 minutes. They installed a water heater for one of my rental properties in San Marcos. I had the new water heater and the pan needed for the installation in the garage where the water heater is. I didnt have any estimate before the installation. The installation itself is good (actually I have not checked it yet.) at least i did not hear any complains from the tenants. Since the bill mailed to me has no details at all, I called the company just want to learn a little bit more details for accounting purpose. Ms V answered my call. Before I finished my very first sentence, V asked me "You don't want to pay?" I said that I just want to know a little more details. She said with a high pitch voice "the bill has all the details." Before I said anything she started to shout at me "the normal installation charge is $650 minimum, do you want to me charge you so much?" It seems that she had a terrible morning and just had a huge fight with someone. I asked her to calm down and told her that I just wanted to learn a little bit more details about the charge, and I even did n”

“This is easily the rudest plumbing company I've ever dealt with. The point of contact stepped away for 30 minutes during the service window and I get having to move on in that case but the customer service trying to reschedule was unprofessional at best. Liars and extremely condescending. Literally laughed at me. I work as a purchasing agent for a builder and will shout from the root tops to NEVER use this company for any service.”

“Very professional from call to service. Starting with Victoria helping me set up the appointment. Brian called to let me know he was headed to the house. They ran a camera and solved my clogged problem. Advised me of what is going on with roots going through the pipes. They were able to knock them off to clear the drain. “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED!!! $2,200 for a USED WATER HEATER! This company quoted a lower amount for a water heater and then billed me for $2,200 after installing it. No one agreed to pay $2,200 for the water heater, and she is now refusing to give me any paperwork associated with the install for the work. I’m not even sure if it was done.”

“Don't waste your money. They came out to look at a clog in my main drain. The kid spent around an hour "poking" around outside the house. He told me to call a septic company, the drains were fine. I called a septic company and they came out and spent fifteen minutes with a water hose cleaning out the main drain. They didn't even touch my septic. Call someone else.”

We needed someone to install our water filter and softener and she wanted to argue with me about filters instead of helping us with our needs. Sad. Based on their ratings, I can see I’m not the only one who was unhappy with this company.”

“Had a water main service line leak. The plumbers dug it up, left it open in a full muddy water hole with no cover while they went to get parts, came back and bailed the water out with a coffee can, and then repaired it, and buried it less than 4" under the ground against code (see pictures). Afterwards I had dirt in all my lines, and my toilet mechanics (less than a year old) are clogged, I am concerned about my hot water heater, and my service line could freeze. I have the phone calls recorded, less than an hour after the plumbers left I called the office. The secretary was very short, and said that a master plumber would be back to fix our issue. The next day The master plumber came with the same plumber from the day before, but he waited in the van while repairs were made. When the plumber left The toilet downstairs immediately started leaking on the floor slowly. At first I tried to hand tighten the toilet water service line, but to no avail. We called San Marcos Plumbing yet again, and got an e-mail from the plumbing company blaming us for all the trouble. We had a water leak, now we have dirt in our water system.
