I only remember the memory of the person being awesome , but way before I started posting reviews. Well this time I was assigned TAZ Plumbing for our service call. Professional from the first interaction. My wife and I had 2 interactions with 2 different employees. Water heater ( electric ) was repaired . We also paid to have a straight 3/4" ball valve installed / to replace the existing stock valve ( this makes it so much easier and efficient for annual or half year flushing). I normally don’t leave reviews, but after calling for a second opinion through American Home Shield, I felt I needed to. Another competitor had tried to overcharge me for unnecessary work, but Israel quickly confirmed my home was already built to code and all that was needed was a simple PRV valve swap. “Home warranty workorder for our waterheater was referred to TAZ, the technician that arrived did absolutely nothing productive to fix the problem. Instead of heeding the complaint of the pilot light not remaining lit he claimed, "I'm not allowed to work on pilot lights". Then proceeded to take a picture of our waterheater and stated he needed to put in an order for the gasline valve (nothing is wrong with the valve). After a couple days I went ahead and got a new thermocouple and after fixing it up MYSELF, I'm physically disabled and only have mechanical assembly experience, was able to get the pilot light and waterheater up and running again. Thankfully American Home Shield is granting my family a refund because services were mediocre at best and a waste of time and money. If you have i”

“Better off using someone else. Especially for how expensive it is. Okay, so let me get this clear, the employees are wonderful nobody was rude or anything. Did complete new plumbing from septic to sewer, over 50k, left our house incomplete with walls ripped down and floors ripped up. Never came back. Didn't even patch up walls. Crazy how only a couple months later our house smelling like sewage is an everyday thing now.”

“I recently had my hot water heater replaced through American Home Shield, and Taz Plumbing handled the repair. When the water heater failed, Taz Plumbing came out the same night at around 9:00 PM to remove the damaged unit and isolate the leak to prevent further issues. A few days later, Mr. Lopez from Taz Plumbing returned to install the new hot water heater. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions. He cleaned up after the job was completed and left our family with hot water again. I would highly recommend Taz Plumbing to anyone looking to have plumbing work done.”

He diagnosed the exact problem, then went above and beyond to locate the parts he needed going to multiple stores . When he returned he quickly and effortlessly installed everything . Isreal and answered questions from a grandson who was absolutely fascinated with the work he was doing and even had me feel the water after he set the blending of hot/cold to insure my grandson would not be burned by the water . This little thing he did showed me he really cares about this clients and his work .”
