What Customers Say

“Previous owner paid $4500 for new mini split 1 month before we bought the house. Worked for 9 months with limited use (very limited filters are perfectly clean). Early July it ran out of coolant because brass fittings were loose/small leaks by outside compressor. I the owner had to pay for the new coolant at $350. Feel like if the company policy is to charge for something less than 1 year old with virtually no use or problems caused by the owner find a better company. This should have been free… maybe if it was I would have used them to work on my other main AC units. Devin Johnson however seems like a legit guy but the company needs a policy change. Ever heard of an ac company admitting that the valves were loose post install causing a coolant leak then charging again for coolant 9 month”

“We have used Wildcat for 5 or more years including installation of 2 large AC units. We also schedule system checkups twice a year. In response to their email to schedule one, I called but was told it was too early and they'd call back. No call. Since then, I've called 3 times, left message with answering service only at different times during the day but no response. This was a previously reliable company but that is no longer the case since another commenter had the same experience. Be forewarned and don't waste your time!!”

“Great company! I have been with them for Years since they installed my HVAC system. Since then, they come here twice a year to check heating and cooling systems. Professional Techs who are courteous, know how to find the answers to potential issues and they always do the job just right!”

“I'm giving one star because it's not possible to leave a review without checking at least one. This business turned into a scam of sorts. Owner, Devin S. Johnson, left us and other customers without fulfilling his contract. He owes us $600 in services or refund. No answer to phone, email, or snail mail. I'm filing complaint with ROC (license ROC 257964) and also BBB. Probably won't make a difference but at least it'll alert individuals to never do business with this individual!”

“I purchased a new Lennox HVAC unit from Wildcat in 2017. The installation went well and the unit has worked well. I have used Wildcat to service the unit twice a year since then. However, Wildcat's service department has went down significantly. I have scheduled TWO service season checkups in the past few weeks and a no show for BOTH of them! I called the office to find out what was going on and was told I'd be called back to reschedule for the THIRD time but, that was two weeks ago and no call so far. I will be switching to a different HVAC contractor for my Spring / Fall system checks.”

“Devin performed routine inspection and maintainence on my two AC units which are under warranty. He found a partially burned wire on the capacitor of the roof top unit. He replaced it at no charge. Devin also provided a quote for a soft start installation for the big roof top unit. This will be necessary for our solar panel/battery to start the compressor during a TEP power outage. All went well and we are happy with Wildcat.”

“We've used Wildcat twice and both times, they've been quick and professional. This last time, after cleaning our coil, there was an unexpected issue with it draining and they rerouted our condensation line free of charge. Devin did our work and took time to explain what was done and answer any questions we had. A good experience.”

“Go by the shop. There are no vans outside. The WILDCAT sign on the building isn't there. Building is listed for sale. Dude took off with my service contract money and didn't deliver. Phone is disconnected. They don't respond to email.”

“We had an issue with our AC unit leaking. Wildcat responded immediately and Devin did an amazing job in diagnosing and fixing the problem. The conoany is responsive, professional, and reasonably priced for the work they do. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good HVAC company.”

“We had an ac freezing up. They came out quickly and knew the issue. Which was what I had expected with past dealings with industrial ones that have had the same problem at work. They got it up and running right until the part arrived to fix it permanently and were super helpful and up front about everything through the process. Luke was great. Highly professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the service and repair. Great company would highly recommend and will be going to for all of our heating and cooling needs. Joined their yearly service plan and would recommend to anyone owning a home. For the peace of mind of great maintenance and service. Plus good discounts for any issues that may arise and need repair or replaced. I've found on the business side trust in these types of rep”
