About

A Good Plumber runs a straight plumbing crew out of Whitehouse, Texas. They cover residential work across the area and handle the common problems that hit East Texas homes, such as failed water heaters and blocked drains that show up without notice. The outfit earns notice because they answer calls after hours when other companies go silent, and they send crews ready to tackle jobs the same day rather than leaving families without water or heat. Local homeowners count on them for both quick fixes and larger replacements that keep daily life moving.

The crew handles clean-out work with a warranty that stretches past sixty days, which sets them apart from outfits that undercut on price but skip the follow-through. For water heater failures they dispatch techs like Aurelio and Isaac to install new units the same day, running fresh copper pipe and silver brazing the joints so the setup lasts. John shows up for similar replacements, staying clean on the job site and pushing through to finish in short order. Weekend emergencies get scheduled right away once the call comes in, and the team works to restore hot water without extra delays or excuses.

Customers praise the speed of response on same-day calls and the solid quality of the finished work that holds up after the crew leaves. Communication stays direct so homeowners know the plan and timeline, and the price feels right once the warranty and reliability enter the picture. These details add up across hundreds of jobs where other outfits left people waiting. DIRT Score 5.0 from 424 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Fast, friendly, and very professional. And I very much like the 60+ day warranty on my clean-out service. Other places may offer slightly lower prices, but it doesn't matter when the folks at Ben Franklin in Whitehouse were the only company to actually anawer the phone after hours. The cost is very much worth the piece of mind and the quality service

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing sent 2 of Tyler’s BEST PLUMBERS (Aurelio and Isaac) and got my wife and I out of bind as our hot water heater went out this AM. Nothing worse than a cold shower! Came out same day and professionally installed a new hot water heater, copper pipe and silver brazed (no spring clamp fittings), cleaned up after themselves and went thru the new water heater with me! I will use them again and again whenever I need help! Great Job Benjamin Franklin and it’s a well run business and very responsive! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE and give them a call, I highly recommend!

Great experience! John was helpful, clean, confident, and worked hard to get our hot water heater replaced in a very short amount of time. Thankful for excellent service!

Can't say enough about the professionalism and customer service. We had a In emergency over the weekend and kept getting the run around with another major plumbing company that we have used multiple times. Made one phone call to Benjamin Franklin and they immediately got us scheduled and taken care of. John Axford with them is a gem. He is professional, concise and personable and took care of us quickly. Thanks to them, what started out as a stressful event became something we didn't even have to worry about.

Accidentally fried my water heater and called Benjamin Franklin for help. They were able to come out the next day (Ernesto) and gave me several options to either fix it or replace. Also found some installation issues with the old one which could have flooded my house. Decided to replace since I didn't know how much damage was on the inside. Ernesto was able to get this done the same day. Going to have them come out again to do some of our planned home improvement projects next week. Ernesto has fixed our issues several times now. He is always professional and explains everything in terminology I can understand.
