Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair LLC

Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair LLC runs pool service work out of Abilene, Texas. Nolan Hayhurst owns the company and works as lead tech. The outfit handles pool leak detection, pressure testing, underground plumbing repair, crack repair, skimmer replacement, pool resurfacing, and pool remodeling across Abilene, Clyde, Baird, Merkel, Sweetwater, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Anson, Eastland, Brownwood, and the Big Country region. The business stays family-owned and covers those spots plus other Texas locations when needed.

Customers reach out when pools lose water without obvious signs or when new pools need certification. Tye and Hank have located leaks with sonar and pressure testing, then fixed cracked pipes in main drain lines and cleared drains on the spot. They have dug through decking for repairs and matched the surface back to the original, replaced skimmers, and protected landscaping during trench work so grass showed little sign of disturbance afterward. Same-day repairs happen once the source is pinned down.

They answer the phone fast and often book the next day or within two days. Estimates come in lower than competing bids, and crews explain findings in plain terms while keeping owners updated on progress. Work covers the listed Abilene-area towns and extends to other Texas spots when called. Payment waits until the job passes a final check and the owner confirms satisfaction.

Reviews total twenty and all sit at five stars. Common points include accurate leak location, careful handling of equipment and property, honest advice without upselling, and quick turnaround on both detection and fixes.

“We had such a great experience with Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair LLC! I contacted them and they were able to get us in much sooner than expected. They came out quickly, checked everything thoroughly, cleared the drain, and repaired what needed fixing. Their customer service was absolutely top notch and you can truly tell they are a family-owned business that cares about their customers. Professional, honest, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend — 10/10 experience!”

“If you have a pool or spa that is leaking, I highly recommend calling Nolan and his team at Aquatic Lead Detection and Pool Repair. They are professional, courteous, thorough and reasonably priced. I called Nolan on a recommendation from Jason Frick. Nolan sent Tye and Hank out to our house in two days. They found the leak with sonar equipment. They provided the estimate and got to work. They took great care as they worked using their pads as shields to block debris from getting into the pool as they worked. Tye and Hank were very nice and easy to work with. They showed us the cracked pipe and talked us through what they were going to do to fix the problem and they did it. The work was completed in one day. They expertly fixed the concrete they cut to get to the broken pipe. We are really happy with the work, and if we have the need for a future repair, we will definitely call Nolan at ALD again. Thank you, Nolan, Tye and Hank for fixing our pool!!”

“Aquatic Leak performed excellent work detecting the issue with our pool! The work required a hole in the decking and it was repaired beautifully. The repair was matched perfectly to the original decking. The work was performed quickly, expertly, and with an expert staff. I was kept informed the entire time of progress and was pleased with the outcome. It is a pleasure to be able to recommend their services.”

“Tye and Hank came out to certify our new pool from Paradise Pools. They were totally professional, efficient and worked very well as a team. They thoroughly inspected and pressure tested the integrity of the pool and it’s associated plumbing from the pool back to the manifold by the pool equipment. They dove the pool and Inspected along the walls and were extremely open and forthcoming with information. I would 100% recommend ALD for any of your pool leaks or repairs. Very knowledgeable and treated my equipment like it was their own. 👍👍”

“I highly recommend Aquatic Leak Detection’s services. Nolan and his team (Hank and Tye) provided professional and courteous service and are excellent at what they do. I engaged ALD to diagnose a pool leak with no visible signs. Their approach to completing a comprehensive leak check was meticulous and thorough. They pinpointed the leak source and communicated their findings clearly. Additionally, they did excellent repair work. While fixing the leak in my main drain line, ALD took care to preserve my landscaping, and after digging a trench in my grass you could hardly tell a repair had been made when they finished. Nolan and his team earned my trust. I highly recommend them and will certainly call on them if I have future pool leak issues.”

“Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair is truly the best leak detection company in San Antonio. I have dealt with many pool companies over the years, and none have been as honest, patient, and thorough as this team. They found a pool leak that two other companies completely missed, and he took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could understand. The repair was done the same day, and my pool has been perfect ever since. If you need reliable leak detection, crack repair, or any pool repair service in San Antonio, or New Braunfels, I highly recommend Aquatic Leak Detection. It’s rare to find this level of professionalism anymore.”

“We are so grateful for Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair! After weeks of losing water, Aquatic Leak Detection came out, performed a thorough leak detection, found the exact issue, and repaired it the same day. Truly exceptional service, fair pricing, and such great communication. If you need leak detection, pool repair, or remodels anywhere in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Austin or surrounding areas, I highly recommend this company.”

“Have a leak? Look no more. I have used Nolan and his team before because they were recommended to me from Penny Pinchers. Hank and Ty were able to come the next day, they were thorough, professional and efficient. While I waited for Nolan to get back to me I called 5 other companies and got dates available and bids. The soonest was a week out and some would only find the leak. One even wanted payment before the work started. These days it is hard to find a family owned and operated company or feel like you are not being taken for ride. I highly recommend aquatic leak detection, they found the problems and fixed them on the spot. Thank you all so much!”

“I’ve had many hurdles working with other companies and Aquatic Leak Detection saved the day. Very timely and professional service and communication. Reasonably priced, honestly run. Highly recommended for not only leak detection but repair work.”

“Absolutely one of the most professional organizations with which I’ve had the pleasure to work. I own my own business and I am very particular about the people to whom I refer my customers. I would refer people all day to Aquatic and never worry about it. Very professional, ethical, and kind. They wouldn’t even accept payment until he’d called twice to be sure there were no leaks and we were satisfied. They also repair, so that makes everything wrap up nicely. Keep up the great service Aquatic and thank you for your kind and professional work for my Dad.”

“Been a difficult and expensive process trying to find the leak in my pool. Been through several estimates that were way to high and even a couple no shows on the job. I called Nolan and within 30 minutes I had an almost unbelievably lower quote. Took him all of 10 minutes to find the leak and repair it. Thanks Nolan and thank you Aquatic Leak Detection & Pool Repair LLC for saving me a ton of money and doing a great job!!”

““Great communication! Even though I don’t currently have a pool, they still took the time to answer all my questions & were extremely helpful. I’m glad I was able to find someone local in New Braunfels!””

“I called Aquatic Leak Detection for an in ground pool leak. Tye and Hank were sent to my house. I expected the "you need this and you need that" tactic. What I received was the complete opposite. Both Tye and Hank were super honest and did outstanding work. I would definitely refer these guys to any and everyone!!! Thanks Nolan for having great people working for you!!!”

“I called needing help with my Grandads pool. He needed help getting it back in working order. Nolan called me back immediately! Best customer service I have experienced in years! Not only did he get back to me quickly he was kind and patient to explain things I didn’t understand and left us so much better than he found us. Exceptional service and affordable! I can not give enough good lip service to this wonderful company! Plus being family owned and local grown. In this day and time that alone is worth something! Thanks again Nolan for your outstanding work and customer service!”

“‘Outstanding job! Tye and Hank two strapping young men fit as recruits for the Naval SEALS.’ They came in the rain, dived in the pool, found the leak in the drain, fixed it underwater on the spot - packed up and left.
