Resurfacing-and replacing tiles in pool & Hot Tub, They also resurfaced the Cool Crete decking around the pool in less than 2 weeks. “This company is a shame! They are unreliable. They did not fix our pool and the leaks. Instead, they came up with a temporary solution and terminated our cleaner line. They stop cleaning our pool; despite having a contract with them. The cleaning crew are not knowledgeable, overworked, underpaid and always tired by the time they get to our house to clean our pool. Definitely will not recommend this company.”

“★☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with the service. The company constantly changes technicians, and it seems like each new technician has little to no knowledge of my pool or its maintenance history. I have a saltwater pool, and for the past three weeks the technician has arrived without the salt needed for service despite multiple phone calls and reminders. To make matters worse, they rescheduled my regular weekly service because they were short-staffed. I specifically called ahead because I had an event at my house and needed the pool cleaned on schedule. Rather than trying to accommodate a long-term customer, I was told they would be happy to cancel my service if I wasn’t satisfied. Consistent service, communication, and reliability are the main reasons people hire a pool company. Unfortunately, this company failed on all three. I’ve given up and will be looking for another pool service provider.”

The office and field staff communicated daily to check-in, identify what steps were to be completed, and provided updates to the timeline when we experienced delays due to weather. The crews worked quickly but did not sacrifice quality for speed. Follow-up after completion was prompt and thorough; they even ensured my water chemistry was balanced afterwards to promote proper curing of the new finish. A Manager hand-delivered samples of the tile options I picked out, and offered to show me a recently completed pool with the specific finish/color I selected, so I could see it in person. I thought that was very customer-forward oriented and they exceeded my expectations. I will be doing business with them again to have some decking around the pool redone. They’ve earned both my trust and future business.”

“I contacted Sink or Swim pools in regards to a full pool drain and power wash for a completely green pool due to debris build up and faulty equipment. They worked around my schedule for a quick appointment. They promptly rescheduled when weather made the first appointment unfeasible and immediately completed the job when weather permitted. “We needed renovation of our pool tile and coping, the price was very reasonable for removing all old tile, grout & mastic. They arrived on time as scheduled, completed the job in 2 days time with a final visit Saturday morning for a finishing touch. They placed all new tile, grout and mastic and put a protective treatment on the sandstone. It’s hard to know if you are choosing a good company for any type of renovation project but this company did a great job, we were relived and quite happy with the results. 5 stars, thanks a bunch to Sink or Swim.”

“I scheduled a pool inspection with this company and took time to set up the appointment. At no point during scheduling did anyone inform me that I needed to have a credit card on file if I wasn’t going to be present at the time of the inspection. I was at work when the technician arrived. They waited about 15 minutes and then left. Now the company is telling me I have to pay an additional $140 to reschedule. The issue here is the lack of communication on their end. If that policy had been clearly explained when the appointment was scheduled, I would have either provided a card or arranged to be there.”

As a first time pool owner, they were always quick to respond to questions that I had, and were quick to share tips and tricks to better maintain the pool. When we did have issues, they provided fair quotes and effective solutions. I always felt like they were looking out for what was best for my situation, not trying to take advantage of it. We also leveraged their weekly cleaning service when we had moved away but still owned our property. The team was very consistent in their efforts, and their communication made me feel at ease even when I couldn't see their work first hand. “In March (2023), having just returned from a 5+ week trip out of state, I contacted Sink or Swim for a pool leak test after I had picked up their flyer from Leslie's. Three people from SoS came out, performed their evaluation, told me I had a sub-plaster crack across the width of the pool and some less significant pool plumbing issues, and later submitted a quote for repairs totaling just under $30k. I still have a copy of it; see photo. Initially, I had good reason to believe that my pool was leaking into my neighbor's yard behind my back fence. This was a messy problem during a very bad time that I wanted to get resolved quickly, and despite the fact that my insurance company was suggesting I was probably not covered, I almost agreed to move ahead with repairs at the quoted price. But I talked again to Leslie's, and sought 2nd and 3rd opinions on testing and repair. The 2nd company found only very minor leaks at one of the skimmers, repaired with epoxy. The 3rd company found NO leaks. In the last 2 months, my neighbor's back yard has dried up. My pool water level has not appreciably dropped. It would appear that I do NOT have a structural crack across the width of the pool, no”

“I was not going to do a review, but I keep getting email reminders, so here it goes. I had an equipment leak fixed by Sink or Swim Pools and they did just fine. I also had an appointment on a Thursday morning for some remodeling work and some drain replacement. No one showed up for the appointment, so I called the office around noon to get an update. I was told they would be out in the afternoon. At 5, I called the office again, informing them that no one had showed and was told they would be out the next morning. Noon on Friday and still nobody and no communication. I called at noon and cancelled the work. I have no idea how good their remodeling work is, but I can tell you I won't ever recommend them or call them again. Unfortunately, this kind of customer service and lack of communication seems to be all to common in home service providers.”
