I recently brought my pool vacuum in to be checked out and prior to having me pay any diagnostic charge, this sweet lady helped to take apart my pool vacuum to diagnose and rule out any easier problems it might be. “Very disappointed with them. I recently purchased a home with a pool. 3 weeks prior to closing on the home I reached out and told them I would like to maintain service with them. I even inquired about some equipment that would need to be replaced. The person who answered the phone (I wish I would have got her name) even gave me rough estimates and told me the owner, Sarah, would reach out. I never heard anything. The following week I called back twice more and each time I was told someone would get back to me. I called several more times after this and either no one would pick up or I was told Sarah would reach out to me. Fast forward to today, I've since closed on the house and finally was able to get in touch with owner after leaving another message earlier in the week and I was told they didn't know I would want to keep them so they dropped me and have already filled my spot.... The previous homeowner even told me she told them several times prior to us closing on the house to keep the service because she knew my little one would be excited to use the pool. “I have used Gulf Coast Pool and Spa for my pool maintenance and weekly cleaning for the past decade and received exceptional services. Unfortunately the successful business was recently sold and the new owner no longer provides the exceptional services nor maintains the high level of integrity that was consistently provided in the past. The new owner charged me $850 for an $89 part and a 20 minute install. He must have thought that I (being a woman) would never know the difference, yet Google easily exposed his unreasonable pricing. The price gouging was bad, but their service got even worse. The weekly maintenance of my pool has also been horrible. My pool has looked more like a pond under their care. We have not been able to swim in the pool for the entire month of September (even though the pool was cleaned and maintained on a weekly basis during this entire time and I was charged for their services). I went by the store yesterday to let them know that (after 10 years of superb service) I will no longer be using their services for my pool. I have been a good customer for 10 years and always paid my bill (even the $850 that should have been around $270. The new owner does not h”

“Always helpful and willing to give advice even when you don’t buy anything. Helped me out with a pump motor off the shelf and I installed and was up and running by that afternoon. The price for the motor was comparably priced to internet stores and I wasn’t at the mercy of fedex delivering to the wrong house…. again.”

“Jeff and Sarah were very helpful and extremely patient with our pool project. Background: we own a home in OS and wanted to install a pool heater. The caveat is that I’m in the military and currently deployed overseas with my family. Sarah and Jeff took the time to order the equipment, explain the process and most importantly took photos of before and final project completion. “A little disappointed. Called today searching for a specific item. They had 1 in stock that they would hold for me, took my name, and then said they wouldn't hold for me ( ooook). Then she hung up on me... Called back 2 times before she answered. Was told it would be $15 so i gave my card info over the phone (so they would be willing to hold it as i had a 20+ minute drive (plus traffic from scraping the coast). The part that botherd me was the same woman that told me it would be $15 over the phone then informed us it was $60!!! When i asked her why she told me $15 all she could do was laugh and say sorry about that. Couldn't be bothered to even take off $5 or anything. The entire thing was just unprofessional”
