Optima Pools

Optima Pools handles pool service work out of Georgetown, Texas. Rob Reavey runs the company and takes on custom pool construction along with residential remodeling projects. They also put in outdoor kitchens, patios, water features and fire pits for both homes and commercial spots. Rob works directly with homeowners on the initial drawings and stays involved through every phase of the build.

Customers have described jobs where the crew handled excavation on rocky ground and built pools that fit tricky sites. Rob drew up plans that matched what homeowners pictured, and the team kept areas clean and safe for pets during work. Some had patios and decks added that flow with the house, while others got retaining walls fixed after storms. A few repeat clients had second pools put in later and noted the same crew handled both without issues.

Rob stays on site daily and answers calls himself rather than routing everything through a project manager. Terry assists with scheduling and questions, and updates continue even when owners travel. Work stays on the original timeline and inside the quoted price, with problems from subcontractors corrected on the spot. The company covers Central Texas and keeps lines open for follow up years after the job ends.

“When we first talked to Rob about a wild pool idea we wondered how anyone could do what we built in our heads. With in a few days Rob had drawings for us that were exactly what we imagined, like he printed them from our mind. Once we started the project his entire team was friendly, respectful, and cleaned up (as best as possible pools are a messy project) every day, even re built the fence everyday so our dogs could go outside. The end result is amazing and we use the pool and patio every day!”

“We began our pool last December. We were leaving for an extended travel and left the entire process in the capable hands of Rob and his staff. Rob assisted and kept us abreast of every step as they unfolded. Our home sits atop a very rocky ridge in Georgetown and required quite a bit of excavation and debris removal. The pool design as well as the patio layout were all from the mind of Rob and his extensive years of experience. We could not be any more happy with the final product. We would gladly recommend Optima Pools to all our friends and anyone else interested in a great finished product.”

He tells you what his teams are going to do and finishes work on time and within budget. He is responsive and consistently communicates requested information in a timely manner. Our paver landscaping with decorative rocks is exactly what we wanted.”

“We are very pleased with our pool. It is awesome. Working with Optima Pools was great. They were responsive, providing a complete and accurate estimate. Project was on budget and we ended up with a great pool.”

“We hired Rob and Optima to build our pool about 4 years ago. The timeline is worth noting because we've had NO PROBLEMS since he finished construction on the pool. Our pool and pool equipment have held up just fine through a freeze and drought conditions. Rob helped with the design of the pool and provided multiple design options for us to consider, always keeping an eye on our budget. We had regular communication throughout the pool construction process and Rob was always available and accountable. We would not hesitate to use Rob and Optima again if we were to build another pool. Five stars!”

“I am not sure we could be much more satisfied. Rob Reavey and his associates at Optima Pools are professional and personable. Probably most important to us is their architectural design abilities that have not only brought an aesthetic result but a functional one. Our pool and deck flow with the home as if they were designed together. On site staff members made us feel very comfortable; skilled, trustworthy, hard works and several had been with Optima for many years. There were some issues that came up through the construction process, which Rob and his team quickly and adequately took care of. There is no project too big or small for Optima: they have designed and constructed our pool, cabana, outdoor kitchen, generator/propane tank, golf cart garage, driveway modification, and more. We will continue to use Optima for any future design and construction needs.”

“We were referred to Optima Pools from some friends who used them to build two separate pools. Rob(the owner) met with us at our house and designed our dream pool! From start to finish he was involved in the entire process making sure everything was perfect and on schedule. Rob and Terry are always available by phone and answer/take care of any questions you have. We couldn’t be happier with how the pool turned out and we get so many compliments on it from friends and family. If you are looking for a custom pool from a quality builder look no further! I would not hesitate to recommend them, or use them again if we move. -Will”

“We are very happy with the work that Rob Reavey and his subcontractors provided in helping to design and build a pool and outdoor kitchen area at my home. The pool location had some challenging conditions and Rob was instrumental in negotiating through and around those obstacles. My wife and I are very happy with the product we received and would definitely use Optima pools again as well as recommend them to anyone who wants to add a pool or outdoor living space to their home or business.”

“We went with Rob and optima pools after being ghosted by Cody pools during the initial meeting process and interviewing/receiving a few ideas/bids from other local pool companies. With optima you are communicating directly with the owner and not some project manager. He is responsive and fixes inevitable construction snags along the way. He also is an architect and there is no way we would have come up with what we have now if it wasn’t for him. He works with Terry who is his assistant and helpful with everything and super knowledgeable.”

“We built our house during the middle of Covid and as you probably know, trying to get anything done was a challenge. That said, working with Rob was a breath of fresh air. He was there for us every step of the way and was accountable for any issues created by his subs and took care of it for us. He truly gave us the impression that he wanted us to be happy and satisfied with his work. We are pleased with the end result. I highly recommend him as a business man who takes pride in his work and will stand behind it.”

“While we didn't end up going with Optima for our pool, we were very happy with our meeting and proposal from the owner Rob. Compared to the other builders we met with, he really knows his stuff and provided the most detailed and informative quote. He's done a number of pools in my neighborhood that are pretty impressive and I'd recommend him to anyone. He'll definitely get a call if we ever decide to build another pool in the future.”

“Rob, Built our pool 5 years ago!! We lived in another state and had to trust Rob and his crew! Well he and his crew did a great job! We are now starting to build a new house and Rob will do the yard and pool again! It is hard to find trusted people today Rob is one of them!! Sue d”

“True value is always shown by the test of time. Rob built our pool 13 years ago and with the exception of normal wear and tear, it has held up well to the Texas summer heat. Rob has always been around when needed. Great five-star review for Optima Pools!”

“We are currently swimming in our beautiful pool and cabana build for us by Optima Pools! We have had several pools built over the years as we have moved and relocated. Optima Pools has by far, been the best pool construction that we've had! Owner, Rob Reavey is on top of the day to day, and minute to minute construction of the pool, ensuring the outcome and timely completion of the pool went as planned. He is extremely reliable, dependable; and more, flexible! With each new idea and/or change we came up with, he followed our wishes to the T! We could not be happier, and we highly recommend Optima Pools!”
