“I was referred to Classic Tile & Plaster by a wise friend who had them refinish and repair her pool. Because of that referral, I spoke to David Adams at Classic Tile & Plaster over the years about dream renovations I wanted done and never followed through on, but I always appreciated his advice and prompt response. When the hard freezes and age got my pool, it was time to get the work done. I spoke with five pool companies. Classic’s price was not the lowest or the highest, but I liked their choices resurfacing products, and David Adams was great as always. The techs came early, worked efficiently, were friendly and professional, and I’m really happy with the results so far. We’re in the ‘aftercare’ stage, so no swimming for maybe another week to make sure chemistry is right, and their technician is great on that, too. Note - I didn’t have any deck work done, so don’t look at that! This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with any home renovation project, and I know my time and money were used well. “I have used Classic three times over the years. The 5 star review is for their quality of work. I do have some recommendations based on my last refinish job to improve the customer experience. The communication from the scheduling department did not meet expectations. They did not answer the phone or return phone calls. They did not keep me up to date with what to expect next or when to expect it. They did return emails but not always within 24 hours. The crews were professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. I did want to note one safety issue that should be looked into. The man who did the acid wash was hovered over the drain pouring acid into the drain with both hands. He was not wearing respiratory protection and started coughing and gagging. I encourage management to look into this as exposure to hydrochloric acid vapors should be taken seriously and can easily be avoided with respiratory protection. I would recommend them based on their quality of work and would use them again.”

“Our replastering just completed. The work we had done was replastering with the upgraded white Azteca plaster, new tile and pool start up with Custom Pools . We had a positive experience. Once we received our start date, we were updated daily on what would happen the next day, what time they would start and what to expect. Any questions were promptly answered via phone call or email, thank you Wendi! Each team that came to do their part, did the work, cleaned up after themselves, and left. Everyone was polite and professional. Being on time for a job is important to us as well as quality work. This company seems to be well run and you can tell they have been doing this work a long time. Hopefully we will not have any problems. “We had our pool resurfaced, new tile, new lights and partial flagstone replaced around pool in summer 2023. They did a fabulous job. Received e-mails regularly with scheduling and what would be done and if any "lag" time between steps (i.e. dry time). We were fully prepped on what we would need to do once they were done. Clean up was kept up during the several week process and at end. We had Classic resurface pool about 20 years ago and it was still holding up. We decided on a redo before it was a necessity. Highly recommend.”

“This is my 2nd experience with Classic Tile & Plaster and just like the first one, it was FLAWLESS. This time was different in that I am now retired and got to watch their process. Everything was clearly explainded by David Adam's in Dec 2023. He quoted the job to replace an aging coping stone, glass tile and new plaster as well as a new led lighting system. Our pool is only 12,000 gallons and the entire process from tile removal to filling the pool with water was exactly 1 week. Feb 12th-19th, 2024. Their people are on time and on point, and they work a process and don't control the weather. If you understand this they will do a great job. OUTSTANDING.”

Another bidder showed up at the same time as Classic and tried to convince us to not do the work when he learned we were getting a bid from Classic! I see why. Classic has a great price and their work and crews are beyond question. They acknowledge their scheduling and communication needs to improve and that’s true. We almost missed a crew we weren’t expecting and it was alarming to pull into the driveway to see unexpected men peeking through our gate in the alleyway. The price and quality of work made it worth it for us, because they really are very good. I truly hope they can improve in their scheduling/communication; it’s the only thing keeping them from being a five-star company.”

“We hired Classic Tile & Plaster to: -Resurface pool with Pebble Sheen -Change depth of deep end from 7 to 5 ft. -Replace Deck-o-seal -Bead blast tile Multiple delays (due to weather) which I understand, but I wish they would have communicated better about when they were going to show up. Tile looked good after bead blast, however when they sprayed plaster, they got over spray on tile so it looks bad again. I emailed them to ask them to clean up but no response. You can seem lumpy areas where they changes the depth and they didn't smooth the plaster very well. -Also got over spray on stone coping. We used them for start up. which is supposed to be everyday for 5 days. We learned they don't work weekends or holidays. Fine, but again if they just told us we needed to care for the pool on the weekend, I probably wouldn't have paid extra for the service. As multiple people have said, once they get your money, they stop responding to your emails/phone calls and won't fix any of their mistakes. For the above reasons, I would recommend another contractor.”
