Blue Haven Pools & Spas

Blue Haven Pools & Spas handles pool service work out of Gulfport. They build new pools and handle remodels, with a gallery of designs shown for the Gulfport and Biloxi area along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The company lists options like retreat pools and courtyard pools, along with pages for pricing and financing details. Calls for estimates come through an online request form on their site.

Customers who reached out reported quick phone responses that did not match what they asked for. Rob gave a price for a 12 by 24 pool right away even when the caller described different dimensions, then laughed when questions came up about whether the price covered a salt cell, concrete decking, lights, or the pump. He stated that fiberglass pools would crack in Gulfport and would not come with a warranty. Another person trying to get through found the office empty most of the time and reached only an answering machine or nothing at all.

The business lists service across the Gulfport and Biloxi spots on the coast, with the site showing photos of pools built for backyard use in that stretch. Response to requests often stops at the first call, and follow up on details like what gets included in a build stays limited. Pricing comes out in a single number over the phone without room for adjustments based on the actual request.

“Got a call from Rob after submitting an online request. I was just trying to get idea a legitimate estimate so I attempted to give him a few things i was looking for but he immediately blurted out to a number (wasn't even sure he was talking me at first) for a 12X24 pool which wasn't even the dimensions I asked for. So i started to ask if that included salt cell or concrete around it and he started laughing at me saying "that's the pool. you asked what a pool costs and i told ya." I asked if that included lights and pump and he said "ya, that's part of the pool". He also said a fiberglass pool would crack in Gulfport so would not warranty them. I had a fiberglass pool for 15 yrs at my last house....but that was in Biloxi so completely different.”

“Seems no one is ever there. Sometimes if you call you get a message machine sometimes you don't. Never got beyond that.”
