Now, 2+ years later, our service person Leo, is still keeping our pool beautiful. He takes care of it like it’s his own. Leo is always polite and friendly. He’s never intrusive, always cleans up and keeps the water sparkling clear. Brett and Lindsay have been very helpful with things that come up outside of regular pool service. And their technician Oscar has handled our maintenance/repair needs in a timely manner. I’m satisfied in all aspects with Clear Pool, and certain you will be too.”

“They were doing a horrible job cleaning the pool so we asked them to come out a couple of times to do it better. They still left a bunch of leaves that stained the bottom of the pool. When it started to turn green we asked them what was going on and they claimed that the pool pump impeller was broken so it wasn't circulating. They took the pump apart and left it sitting there. They quoted me $368 to replace the impeller. The impeller and the housing are less than $100 parts total. I had another Pool person come and look at it and they said there was nothing wrong with the impeller and the pump was just fine he put it back together and it's been running ever since. The Polaris pool cleaner had a bad wheel and was just going in circles. So clear Pools said they would fix it and they put some bearings in it and brought it back. However it wasn't moving very much and it wasn't cleaning the pool. So they came back out and said yes it's working just fine. It was not. Turns out that the reversing valve was bad and needed to be replaced. I bought the part online for about $20 and did it myself and now the pool is sparkling clean. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. I guess ”

He stated that the pool maintenance was "remarkable" - the pump, filter, lines, etc. were in great condition. Larry had been using Clear Pool for 10+ years. “I have had at least 6 different pool service companies over the years. The first was pretty good but went out of business. Then came ten years of really poor service from each other company. My pool was constantly riddled with algae, low pressure problems, pool left dirty after service, missed weeks, service guys showing up but just sitting by the pool and doing nothing....you name it. I finally took it over myself and got it looking pretty good. My neighbor uses Clear and so I had them take a look one day when I happened to see them and they gave me a quote. Best money I have ever spent. As good as it was doing it on my own (I was a pool service fanatic in my youth), within two weeks they had it perfect, and it has remained perfect for the last six months....despite the heat, debris blowing into the pool, torrential rains. I couldn't be happier.”

“Would give zero stars. Terrible service and over priced for them to do nothing. Charge for twice a week with a total work time of maybe 5 minutes with both services combined. When I called to cancel service, the front desk gremlin immediately started to cuss me out, saying we don’t need your pool. So do them a favor and choose any other pool service. This company is a joke.”

“Hired clear pools to take care of pools on two houses I was trying to sell. Service started out fine, but after about 6 months they slacked off. Last couple of months was finding worms and excessive debris in pool. Eventually cancelled service and they promised to service pool through end of month. Showed up to house and pool was in terrible shape and turning green not a good look for house you’re trying to sell.”

“If I could give zero stars, I would. There is a lot I can say about how awful their pool service is, but I'll try to keep this brief. They charge $208 per month for weekly pool maintenance. They barely do anything. They are lazy and unprofessional. My money spent with this company resulted in a consistent filthy and disgusting looking pool. It was a no brainer to cancel the service. My advice to this company is this: Remind your guys when they go into someone's backyard to service a pool, there is a strong possibility that the house has video cameras and a strong possibility that someone may be at home witnessing your employee's actions. DO YOUR JOB. If a customer is paying $208 per month for a service, DO YOUR JOB. It is as simple as that. Don't slack off. Remember, this is 2022. When your employee enters the backyard, they are either on camera, being witnessed by someone that is home, or all of the above.”
