Leslie's Pool Supplies
Pool Service Pro · Humble, TX
About
Leslie's Pool Supplies runs a pool service and repair operation from their location in Humble, Texas. They stock chemicals, equipment, and parts while offering water analysis and repair work on pumps and cleaners. The store handles both in-person visits for testing and product pickup along with some order tracking for customers who need items shipped or held.
Reviewers describe taking water samples in for checks to sort out chemical balance like calcium buildup, getting guidance on muriatic acid alternatives or tablet amounts, and attempting fixes on robotic cleaners or pumps that showed error codes. Michael sorted out a rewards account mixup for one group, Raphael and Wendy walked through exact product quantities with printed steps, and a few others noted quick advice on what to add for clear water without extra upsells.
The location keeps common chemicals in stock for same-day grabs and runs a subscription water test system called Accublue that charges monthly but applies credit back toward purchases. Some customers mention higher prices on parts and accessories compared to online options, variable wait times when calling about availability, and occasional closures or staff breaks that stretch beyond posted times.
Google shows a 4 rating from 94 reviews with frequent notes on uneven staff attitudes ranging from patient help to outright rudeness from managers and delays on repairs that left equipment unusable. DIRT Score 3.5 from reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I really appreciate their free pool water testing, and they are not pushy about trying to sell you stuff to correct any issues. Prices on some things are bit high, but it's nice to have a store ckose where you can pick things up when you need them and get some advice.”
“So sad to see how this company is hiring people that don’t know how to treat costumers. Rebeca the manager was absolutely awful she does no know how to talk to people or help them. I came to exchange a product at the store and Starr to talk to me and the employee with actitude. Then another costumer show up looking por a pump and don’t even try to explain him that the pump they have is another brand like century instead ask him to find the product somewhere else because they don’t have it. When I ask her to stop been so disrespectful with people she try to justify her self saying that she has headaches. And when I ask to talk to manager she said I am the manager and literally ask me to leave. A day before a white lady took e care of me and help me a lot. But this African American lady was an absolutely a mess. I will never come back her to buy pool supply.”
“Went to Leslie's today and had a little confusion on my rewards account. The employee named Michael helped us and was so patient and courteous. Thank you Michael! We go to many places and hard working, respectful employees are hard to find now days! Thank you from Laura G Sanchez!”
“We have shopped this location many times and have always been very pleased with the service. Today however was a different story! The store had 3 people working they did not one time offer assistance when we trying to figure out which chemicals we needed for our pool, then when I did ask a question they were extremely rude and acted like I was bothering them. This is not the treatment we have every received at this location and I am so disappointed. I want to believe it was just an off day but reading some of the other recent reviews I'm afraid this is the new way of business at Leslie's Pools... Looks like we will be shopping elsewhere for our pool supplies.”
“Called today to check on a part availability and the manager answered the phone. She was busy at the time but took my part number and said it would be 5 minutes. One hour later I called back to find out part status again she told me she had people there and to call another store. It would take 2 minutes to look up a part but she would not help me and hung up the phone on me. Great customer service!! Did I mention she is the manager!!!”
“Went to store and was closed had sign be back in 10 minutes lady named Cia didnt show up till over 30 minutes she said she was entitledto break like if i knew her status on job SMH poor managementon her end ..”
“The cashier was so nice”
“I bought a robotic cleaner for my Pool here and when it needed repair we naturally took it here, awful experience, they took two months to even get it ready to deliver, and on ever brought it home it was still not working!! Sane error codes and completely useless. They are inept, inexperienced and I believe they didn’t do any to it. What a horrible experience. Won’t be buying another from them that’s for sure.”
“Very helpful customer service. I can't say enough good things about the manager working there. If you need your pool supplies this place will take care of you. And if they don't have it, they will find it.”
“Amazed with this store. Almost all employees are A+++ in knowledge. Ive had a calcium issue where I use muriatic acid. Its tough the tile is glass and can't pressure wash. The Leslie team told me to buy a spray on chemical it worked wonders literally easier then cleaning with acid and pressure washer. Ive loved this store. I know stores are hit and miss this one is good. Dont forget I believe that warranty over manufactures when purchasing bots.”
“Went in not knowing anything about pools and asked what I should get to maintain it. Told them I have a little easy set up pool. Wanted me to buy pool conditioner and acid and chlorine tablets. Didn't have enough for all so just purchased the acid which is what he said I needed. Found it elsewhere cheaper and tried to return it within 30 minutes. Tells me I can't return it because it's store policy which I understand but was so rude about it. I Asked why he couldn't have told me there was no returns and Tells me it's common sense. Even though I told him I didn't know about pools and what I needed. Told me to my face he didn't care and said I could call corporate. Never have been treated this poorly.”
“My pool pump went out, so I looked on line and found the one I needed at Lesie's website showed in stock. I drove a hour to get it, when I arrived the gentleman was rude and very unprofessional. He told that's not what I needed and tried to sell me something I didn't need. I explained to him I have always had this pump I know it would work. He said well we don't have that one. I explained your website has it listed in stock, pulled it back up and showed him. He said we never keep it in stock he could order it I didn't know why it said that but it was Corp problem he not over website.”
“The employee was very rude to me. He was speaking with another employee in Spanish and laughing when I finished asking my question. I was so offended I called the 800 number and got in touch with this guy named Doug. He said since I didn't have a purchase history couldn't do anything. I was hoping to find help because I just moved and I'm looking for someone that could help me. Unfortunately, it isn't Leslies in humble.”
“My go to pool supply store. They always have the chemicals I need in stock, and I'm a subscriber to their "Accublue home" water testing. The Accublue home test is hands down the easiest way to keep your pool healthy and clean. Unless you're a chemist or just enjoy messing with the old tried and true water test kits, or the hit and miss test strips, you can't beat the Accublue at home and the support team for the service is outstanding. There is a monthy charge to have the machine (that amount is credited back to your pool perks account for use in store or online) and you do have to purchase the test disks, which are reasonably priced as well. When I open my pool, I always take my water samples to the store for the initial testing which is free. I may do this a couple times until the water is close and then test weekly with the home unit, and it doesn't get any easier than that.”
“Raphael & Wendy are excellent! We bought our pool from here last summer and it's great! Staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. I come to them for every little thing and they are always so patient with me! This is the only location I go to because I trust them. They don't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I dont need, they're right to the point in telling me what needs to be done to my pool, they tell me what I need to buy, how much of it to buy, and they print out a sheet for me to take home that tells me exactly how and step by step instructions on how to administer the products. And VUALA 💁... my pool is perfect! Thanks Yall! I just bought this for my nephew for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! And I'm talking about the basketball goal.... not the Bug Zapper 😆”
“DON'T go there. I have been doing business with them for over 25 years but today the experience was so awful that I will NOT go back. They need to retrain ALL of the staff in how to treat people. I gave them 1 star because I couldn't give zero.”
“They helped me get my above ground pool swim ready... I have no prior experience with cleaning any pool. Love the fact that they can get you your water test results onsite and help you get the stuff you need.”
“The girl that waited on me was super cool and patient with me helped me out great big ups Lil lady”
“Good service, prices are high, buy accessories online. Free water testing. Most chemicals are available online. Parts for everything you need to maintain the pool.”
“Staff is not always the best. Some times they are spot on and sometimes their advise is terrible. And rare to see someone stay at that store very long.”
