“I was having problems with my pool, losing water and I couldn't keep the chemicals balanced, I contacted several pool companies and they weren't really interested in helping me find the solution. I contacted Bobby and he was very knowledgeable, explained everything to me. He's good at what he does and pretty much the only one who specializes in Latham in ground pools. “I would highly recommend Texas Home Pool and Spa! We are so happy with the end result of our liner replacement. We have had our inground liner pool for about 11 years and our liner was in pretty bad shape, with a visible tear. I had a difficult time finding someone in our area, but so thankful I reached out to Bobby and he agreed to take on the job, even though we live over 2 hours from him. I literally just found him on a Google search! He came out that week to take measurements for our new liner and was back within 2 weeks to install. As we began filling the pool, we realized there was a problem and the liner was too small. Bobby had to come back out and remeasure. Our pool is an unconventional shape and there was a mistake when the liner company input measurements. This was the end of March and Bobby already had some other big jobs lined up and the weather was not cooperating. Bobby reassured me along the way that everything would come together and we would have our pool by summer. Fast forward to May and he was back to install our new liner. “I hired Bobby back in January 2024 to install my above ground pool. In May when he installs my pool he comes out for 30 minutes and leaves for the day for his crew to complete. Thought he would come by to see the job was done right but he didn’t. I paid him same day what I owed him no haggling. He did walk me through start up and warned me that if my pool ever started leaking I needed to call him right away as the salt water would rust out the wall. Week goes by and rain stops and I discover my pool is leaking so I call him right away. I also have a post that needs readjustment. He assures me on the phone that he should be out within a week to look at it. A week later he hasn’t came and I am worried about my pool leaking on the steel wall and all the water standing in my yard and the chemicals I am wasting, so I call again. I am reassured on the phone that early next week I will be notified of the game plan to get the issues fixed. I also send pictures of the issues as requested. “After almost 4 weeks of researching the very limited amount of local pool liner companies in Houston, pool liner vendors across the US, searching YouTube on how to DIY this leaking mess…checking Google, calling companies in San Antonio and Austin, endless conversations with “pool experts” that wouldn’t call me back after coming over with full crews to quote me…I finally met Bobby and his team. Bobby is very passionate about what he does. I have nothing but phenomenal things to say about Sebastian and Shane. “Bobby was rude and unprofessional. The pool liner was installed horribly, there were wrinkles all throughout the floor and on the sides. The painted rails were painted poorly. The new pumps installed by his team is already malfunctioning. There’s already a hole in the liner and we had to patch it up. Would not recommend! Please before you decide to spend over $7,000 look into hiring someone else that actually cares about quality. Our experience was similar to Christopher’s review.
