“This is the 5th pool we have built in the last 30 years and the experience with Ridge and Gold Medal Pools was by far the best experience of them all. From start to finish when we met Ridge to consider using Gold Medal, the communication was outstanding. His knowledge, professionalism, and experience was phenomenal. If he communicates it, you can count on it. The communication didn't stop with the selling of the pool like others. He checked in weekly and came by to check on progress personally. The project manager Gene was the same. Great communication. Gene came by the house to check progress and communicate daily. It was by far the best experience of the four other different builders we have used in the past.”

“We hired Gold Medal to replaster our large pool with mini-Peebletec majestic isle. Our pool was in chlorine lock and badly in need of replastering when we purchased our new home. Fortunately, Julie was our project manager, and she has been awesome to work with on this project. She has communicated and guided the project every step of the way! She was SO patient answering all of our questions throughout the project. She communicated as much information as possible during each step of the project! “I highly recommend Gold Medal Pools when it comes to a pool remodeling project. Tony is an amazing sales man and takes a different approach than most. I really appreciate his attention of detail as we bought this house with a 2003 built pool. The last homeowners did all the maintenance on it and you can tell it was there and not cared for. With the help of Tony we revived this pool from old dingy look to its true modern glory. Tony pass off to the project manager Cliff was great! Cliff was as attentive as Tony and was very responsive when we had questions. Overall, from the tile and coping, to the pool plumbers, electricians, plaster, and mastic crew it was a phenomenal and smooth process. Dustin at start-up was great, however, I wish at initial start-up we had a little time to connect as some of the valves moved and to understand the chlorinator. The company sent him back out to give me the time to ask some question and it was great to connect with Fellow Marine Veteran! I appreciate Tony’s recommendation on painting our pool deck to a medium gray color as it really let’s the pool standout!!”

“They helped our (late, RIP) friend get from green to clean, & our friend was incredibly "difficult" re: pricing, so Gold Medal had the best quote out of many to others received to replace a pump & get our friend from green to clean. They probably replaced some other parts on her old system, can't recall exaclty what else the replaced, but it's all working great now. I've known about Gold Medal for over 10 years, seeing their work in Prosper @ new homes, so I know they're legit.”

“Current customer and a disappointed one. They have the expertise and the sale but follow thru is another story. Rank bad.i have had 10+ service people revolving door in and out and they don’t talk to one another. At one point I had 4 separate approval request and one messed up the work of the other. I have had 9K worth of repairs - replace pump-heater, lights, drain-rehydrate and every week there’s a new issue. They charge to come look and the invoices for approvals pile up and this is beyond the 300/month maintenance. If you have me spend 9-10K the least you can do is give me a single point of contact and someone who can inspect - assure we are at the end of the issues. Hugely disappointed current customer ! Update : Goldmedal Pools has really turned things around and have provided a very good service since my above review. It have been methodical and responsive and I have not had issues in my service. I’m raising it to 4 stars. Happy to come back and make it 5 stars in a month if they keep up ! Thank you. I appreciate the service I’m getting”

We enjoyed the whole experience, Mary was our salesperson, she’s creative in the design phase and had great suggestions to make what I wanted happen on paper. We have a large retaining wall in our backyard so the city required extra rebar to secure the pool. They adjusted accordingly & kept to the time lines they promised. “We had thought about installing a swimming pool for many years and we finally decided to move forward last year. After considering multiple companies, we decided to go with Gold Medal Pools. A number of our neighbors used them and we loved the design that we were able to come up with together. We ran into some challenges during the build including multiple project managers, material issues and labor shortages. About 5 months into our build process, we received a new project manager, Logan Barker. He turned things around immediately. We had a kickoff meeting to go over the current status and our frustrations. He followed up with frequent communication, listened to our concerns and worked to come up with a quick resolution. Although the pool took much longer than it should have and we ran into many challenges, we are very happy with the final product. We would not be leaving this review if it wasn’t for the hard work that Logan put into righting the ship. “Just dont. Run. I’m not a “Karen” but boy did this company make me feel like one. I hired them for weekly pool cleaning and despite their efforts, the pool was always full of algea. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking ok they just need to train their techs more, maybe they are new. Maybe it’s the weather. Maybe it’s because we swim too much. Maybe I need to help brush between cleanings. Nope…. This company just sucks. After numerous complaints and calling every other week to headquarters I have finally decided to part ways with them. I have watched on my outdoor cameras numerous times of their techs coming to the house and not brushing the pool, putting less than a pound of chlorine in a 45K gallon pool, not checking chemical levels, not emptying baskets. One time they even left my lid off my pump basket and almost burnt up my pump. There were at least 3 times that I caught on camera the tech showing up, sitting in the driveway, never exiting the vehicle, never going to the backyard, and driving away while simultaneously sending me a report of everything he cleaned that day. Is this Bluetooth cleaning cause I didn’t know that existed in 2024? If you don’t believe”
