DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations

DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations operates out of Mesquite and handles fiberglass pool repairs along with full renovations. Gus runs the crew and they cover work across Texas plus Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Their services include gelcoat resurfacing, crack fixes, light removal, plumbing repairs, deck resurfacing, coping replacement and conversions from vinyl liner pools to fiberglass using the existing structure.

Customers bring them jobs like restoring fifty-year-old leaky concrete pools, repairing bulges and root damage in walls, fixing light conduit leaks, updating electrical, and redoing decks with cool deck texture or flagstone. Gus and his men Juan and Jonathan have turned around pools that were peeling or rough, installed new ladders and handrails, added pergolas and stone counters, and made old pools code compliant with new drains. The work often finishes with pools that hold water better and need less chemicals to stay clean.

They show up when scheduled, keep homeowners informed daily on progress, and wrap most jobs in three to five days or under a week even with weather delays. Crews stay neat on site, leave yards tidy, stick to quoted prices without pushing extras, and Gus follows up weeks later to check results. Communication stays direct and they remain on time throughout.

The company carries a five-star mark from seventy-eight reviews. Reviewers note the same points again and again: Gus stays involved on every job, the crew works hard and finishes on schedule, and the final pools look new while staying within budget.

“Gus and his team did an amazing job fixing a crack, removing the pool light, and resurfacing my fiberglass pool with a new gelcoat. Gus answered all my questions and informed me what was going on every step of the way. From start to finish was about 4 days. Definitely get a second opinion from DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations if you are looking elsewhere.”

“We are so pleased with Gus and his team. Our pool renovation went smoothly and without any issues. We had hired another pool restoration team last year to re-tile our pool, and the tiles didn't even last 6 months because they used the wrong adhesive. Gus' team came in, assessed the situation and gave us options that were within our budget to restore our pool and make it look great again. They are knowledgable about all aspects of pool renovations, and they kept us in budget and on time. Under promised and over delivered! His team was neat, polite, and ON TIME. They left our yard looking tidy after they were done, and were a pleasure to have working here. We would use them again in a heart beat.”

“DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations has now completely renovated pools at two different homes for me, and both experiences were outstanding. They did such an incredible job on the first pool that I hired them again for our new home, and somehow they exceeded my expectations a second time. Gus and his team treat every project as if it were their own pool. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship, communication, and professionalism are second to none. The finished product looks amazing, and the entire process was handled with care from start to finish. You won't regret hiring them!”

“Gus and his team helped us with our old school Fiberglass Pools last winter. He was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and put us at ease. They got the job done in a timely manner. They also redid our deck. Gus was so patient with me and picking out colors. But in the end, we were very pleased and are Loving everything they did -highly highly recommend them!”

“We could not be happier with the results!! Gus and his team came when they said they would worked efficiently every day. They kept everything neat and stayed on a schedule. They were polite and respectful. The pool is beautiful and so much easier to maintain and clean. I love the way it feels smooth and we spend a lot less on chlorine. Gus is a straight shooter and he doesn't try to upsell you on services you don't need. He even reached out about a month after they finished our pool to make sure everything was good and we were happy with the outcome. They have this pool restoration business down to a fine art and I highly recommend.”

“Gus and his crew were incredible. They do amazing and efficient work. We had a 50 year old leaky concrete pool and it looks brand new. The crew showed up early and worked so had during the day. They had this makeover/renovation done in 5 days. They tested everything out and cleaned up the sandstone as much as they could. I would and have highly recommended to several of my friends.”

“We are very happy with the results of our pool renovation. We did not think the pool was going to survive, but Gus and his crew did an amazing job and now our pool looks like new again. The whole job took less than a week. He was always on time And very informative. He kept us up-to-date every step of the way. I would highly recommend him for your fiberglass pool restoration and repairs.”

“Gus and his crew were extremely nice and professional. They were “down to business” the day they arrived! I could not be happier with the professionalism, the hard work, the price, and what it means to our family to have a pool again! Fixing our pool helped in preventing our house from settling as it’s fairly close to the house. They fixed bulges, cracks, and totally refinished what is a 40 plus year old pool! This also means a great deal to us as we have a disabled daughter that now will be able to use the pool for rehabilitation purposes. Of course, the rest of our family enjoy it too! Thank you Gus and crew! You’ve been a blessing in more than one way!”

“What great job! Very happy with the whole process by Gus’s team from start to finish! Pool was looking beat and the deck had a sagging / broken spot. His team knocked it out with out a hitch! Very happy! Here’s some before and after photos!”

“DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations did such an amazing job converting our antiquated vinyl liner pool into a more attractive, and easier to maintain, fiberglass pool. Their work also included fixing a light conduit leak, updating electrical connections, and texturing our existing patio with “Cool Deck.” The owner Gus is involved in the entire process, and the whole crew is very hard working and professional. We are so pleased that we found them! They were able to use our existing pool structure - something that we had no idea was an option…making the project more budget friendly. They completed all the work a few days earlier than quoted…even with two rainy days! If you are in the market for a pool update, we highly recommend Gus and the DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations crew!”

“I cannot recommend this company enough. Not only did they meet their quote on a complex job and stay on schedule, but they were one of the most professional contracting teams I have ever worked with. Gus was on-sight daily, and his entire team (including Juan and Jonathan) made sure that every detail met the highest standards. They not only handled my fiberglass pool, but installed new coping, new concrete around the pool, a pergola, stone structure/countertop with a grill and refrigerator, diving board, and a colorful LED pool light. I love their work.”

“DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations just finished renovating my pool & deck with new fiberglass gelcoat, concrete with cool deck, tile, & flagstone coping. Gus & everyone working with him were so pleasant and professional. They were prompt, worked hard, & completed in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Were considerate of property & gave attention to every detail. A fantastic job & beautiful completed pool! I would highly recommend DFW Fiberglass Pool & Gus if any type of pool work is needed. You will be pleased with the results!”

“Great job, timely, and even monitored pool refill while I was out of state. My pool is now beautiful and we are already taking advantage of our new ladder and handrail. Great work on resurfacing pool and getting my drain up to code. Highly recommend. Adding before and after photos.”

“Gus and crew are true craftsman. They brought my pool back to life in a short amount of time. They even went out of their way to touch up a few minor issues outside of the major renovation work. Communication is top notch with this company and I cannot recommend them enough.”

“Gus and his team were on point with our pool gel coating! Knocked it out in 3 day! Gus was great in communicating with us during the process since we had not moved into the house yet and lived far away making it hard for us to be there. Highly recommend!”

“Gus and his crew were awesome to work with! My parents 45 yr old fiberglass pool was in awful shape and we actually thought about just removing it, but the DFW fiberglass crew made it look like new. It was a difficult job cutting through years of roots to repair the plumbing and fix the holes/bubble in the walls, but somehow they did it. Thank you so very much! 5 stars, highly recommend.”

“Gus and his team did an amazing job on renovating my pool. After multiple estimates and finding someone i could trust DFW Fiberglass pool was the only company with a reasonable price. I highly recommend Gus he’s very knowledgeable and explained every detail and questions need so I could understand the pool repairs. My pool has never looked this good! I can’t wait for the weather to clean up to use it just in time for the summer. I am very happy thank you Gus!”

“Last summer Gus and his crew came to resurface my pool. However, the paint stated to peel and the fiberglass was rough. I called Gus again this summer and he took a little while to come fix it because he had a big project. They showed up almost at the end of summer and they not only resurfaced again, but they fixed a crack that my pool had due to the extreme heat this year . I really appreciate them coming to fix my pool once again. They know how important it was for me because the pool is my source of income. I highly recommend Gus and his crew.”

“Gus and his team at DFW Fiberglass Pool Renovations are absolutely awesome. If you’re thinking about using them, get on it. Gus has been extremely helpful, open, and honest throughout this whole process, which we really appreciated because we’d been struggling to find someone we could trust. We had a plaster pool that needed to be redone and got several quotes last year. We never moved forward with any of them because we just didn’t feel comfortable with nor confident about any of the companies we got quotes from for various reasons. We were beginning to lose hope when we recently stumbled upon a random ad about fiberglass pools, which I believe was meant to be. We decided to look into, and then found Gus. Upon meeting and speaking with him, we knew this was the way to go. He was very informative, was really nice about answering all of our questions, and also made recommendations for us. He was all about only doing the work that needed to be done, which we really liked as this is not a cheap project. We received the estimate on Friday, they started on the following Monday and were done by Saturday afternoon. They did great work and according to schedule. They were extremely profess”

“If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. Amazing job and very reasonable on price. They know their business and are the best. They were fast and got us up and going in a few days.”
