He was very thorough yesterday in determining what repair work I needed and was super helpful answering the questions I had on my equipment setup as it was a bit different than my past pools. And today he completed the repair work and all appears to be operating fine. “This place is fantastic. Couple of years ago they fixed my Polaris cleaner for free. Anthony was really nice to work with. Anthony tested my water first and then showed me what I needed to bring the pool back to normal. I told him I did my own test and did not notice I need so much chemicals. He then tested with drips and then tested with computer again to make sure the result was accurate. He did not push me to buy the chemicals at all not like other pool store did. Highly recommend.”

“Shop 'Local' - honest, helpful, not just looking to make a $$! Competitive prices and they won't sell you stuff you don't need like Leslie's does nor orvercharge you like, Claffey's. I've been coming here consistently for 8 years (previously Alpha pools) because these folks are 100% straightforward. I like to do as much pool maintenance and repair myself and they don't hesitate to help me Every time I come in. If they don't have the part on hand they will tell me what to order so I can get my system up and running quickest. Recently, they have helped me replace a motor and install all the parts. I brought in a buddy's pump with a stubborn impeller and they brought it to the back bench and helped me remove it, no charge! I didn't bother to shop around when I needed to update my whole system about a year after the freeze. I knew Poolwerx were honest and reliable. I had a controller, pump, and new heater installed. Communication was great, the install was professional and they even came back to help tune up the settings. “I cannot say enough good about this pool company. We hired them about 2 years ago when our last pool company told us we needed a new pool pump. We just wanted a second opinion. Poolwerx came out and saw there was a wire that had been cut to the heater and pump. I'm hoping this was an issue with the mowing company and not our last pool service. 😬 Every time we have them come fix an issue they are straightforward and fair. I trust them to do a great job and never feel like I'm being sold something. Today they came out and I was sure it was the pump finally, but it was just an adjustment on the flow valve. He could have sold me an entire pump or even new filters. But he took the time to clean the filters and fixed my pool to like new . They are always on time, honest and professional. I would highly recommend this company! If I could give 10 stars, I would!”

“I have very mixed feelings on this review. I have had Poolwerx perform work for me at my home for many years. Back when they were Alpha Pools and now as Poolwerx. We just totally renovated our pool and instead of doing the start up work myself as I am traveling I hired PW to perform those duties as well as re-wiring and resetting my equipment after this total pool redo. Everyone with PW was nice and attentive however we would go through periods of total lack of communication. The re-wiring and plumbing of the pool equipment was erratic and something was always left just a bit unfinished. When I would finally have to call Debi she would tell me how they were finished. I would give her the list of items incomplete and then she would make excuses. However with all that I was fine until Debi, after I alerted them that we were out of town and made numerous attempts to meet with Adam before we left. Processed the final payment, without sending us the bill and without allowing me to confirm the work was ACTUALLY complete or being trained on the use of pool additives as I paid for a Borax start up treatment that I am totally unfamiliar with and supposedly reduces the need for chlorine an”

Same company but they have split up the retail and design like some other competitors have also done. Very impressed with the staff and product at this location. Friendly & knowledgeable staff and fair prices. What impressed me the most was both ladies I talked on two different occasions were very knowledgeable about the products they carry and their competition. They carry different types of products and know the ins and outs of all of them. I had a couple of issues I wanted to address as newbie pool owner and Christina Keister walked me through the options and was able to specifically address the pros and cons as I asked so that I could make an informed decision. She answered all my silly newbie questions with a smile and was very easy to talk to. So far so good! I will update this review if that ever changes.”

I had others trying to tell me to get things I didn't need, but he figured out what was causing the issue at lightning speed! “Frank is the MAN!! Having never owned a pool and never lived in Texas, I was suspicious of "Free Pool School". He came out spent 3+ hours making sure I understood how the pool works. When I heard "test my pool water for free" the skeptic in me still thought "of course you do, so you can sell me stuff" I actually feel bad for thinking this because not only did Frank teach me how to maintain the pool, following his guidance within 3 weeks, our pool has never looked as good since we moved here last fall and these guys are never about the "up sale" After hiring and firing three different "Pool Cleaning" companies, this is the only place I will ever go!
