“Memphis Pool has been my #1 Pool company for more than 20 yrs- They truly are the BEST ! Excellent high quality service and people - extremely professional and knowledgeable employees. Today, again they came to my rescue- my Polaris stopped functioning properly over the weekend and with this heat along with the leaves starting to fall I just needed it repaired asap. Well their incredible expert Brooks at Getwell diagnosis the issue in under 3 minutes- updated me and had it repaired and I was on my way in record time…. again. Before I start, I want to let everyone reading this post that it is revised from my previous post. It went from 1 star to 2 stars because Bill Byer called me to discuss my issues. We purchased a home & the pool was covered. Since, we never had to deal with a covered pool, I had Memphis Pool open my pool for the summer. I know several people who've had their pools built by MP. I also worked with a Builder who uses MP to build the community pools and apartment pools. So my experience with MP and the hearsay has always been positive. I looked to MP as a higher end company. However, my personal experience is not that. For $289 I was told by the scheduler I would receive my pool cover removed, folded, & stored in designated location. I would receive 15 mins of brushing and/or vacuuming. I would receive re-install of pool accessories. I would receive reconnect timer, cleaner, make sure everything was running & check & adjust water chemistry (chemicals extra). Even though MP was more expensive with a few less services, I still went with ”

“Memphis pool built our pool about 4 years ago. After that, we paid them weekly to maintain it and keep it clean. They let our pool turn green 3 or 4 times, staining the hydrozzo finish. They had to drain our pool, acid wash it, and refill it. Brian, the pool service manager, decided to fire us as weekly service customers because he said "we just couldn't be pleased." My husband tried to reach out to the President of the company about 4 or 5 times, and the owner/president finally said that he was on his people's side and he would never meet with my husband. Then recently, they quoted me $600 to replace five 1 x 1 mosaic tiles in my hot tub. This was after I requested someone to come out for over a month. They also have a ticket in to fix my in ground cleaning system and spa light. They do not make existing customers priority. I feel that once they get your $$$$ to build your pool, you are no longer important. Customer service is definitely their biggest weakness. Within 48 hours, I had Pool Sharks come out and replace my tiles for a tiny fraction of the $600 that Memphis Pool quoted me. Pool Sharks were very professional, cost effect, and knowledgeable. “I can’t thank Shelby in the Service Office enough for sending the most awesome service technicians, Dewayne and Rico, to address the ongoing problem of my pool pump constantly losing prime. After an initial determination that a faulty skimmer door could be the cause, Dewayne replaced the skimmer door but the pump continued to lose prime. His level of commitment and professionalism was clearly evident as he continued to search for the source of the problem. It didn’t take him long at all to discover that the connected pipe nearest the pump had never been glued together! This unglued area had been allowing air into the pump causing it to lose prime. Dewayne then replaced the section of pipe nearest the pump (he, of course, used glue!), and the pump is now working great due to his diligence in finding the source of the problem and completely repairing it. Both Dewayne and Rico were friendly, kind, courteous, respectful and professional. They both definitely went above and beyond, and they also worked well as a team! Dewayne, who is extremely knowledgeable, answered my questions patiently and even showed me how to use a few things at the equipment pad I hadn’t used before! Thank you, ”
