All About Pools

“Dan was extremely helpful. He helped me replace my pool vac lock and got me the plate that goes behind it, then took time to look at my filter cartridges and explain why they were due for replacement. He also explained how worn cartridges can make your pump work harder and run up the electric bill, which I didn’t realize. He educated me on several things about my pool and didn’t rush through it. I’ll be bringing my pool water in this week and he’s going to walk me through how to properly maintain everything myself. Really appreciate the time he took to help and explain things. Great place and great service.”

“I read all the good reviews regarding this business & I seriously wonder if I'm living in an alternate universe...I live nearby and every occasion I've had to deal with Dan it's been downright insulting. I don't like leaving negative reviews; while I typically try to raise local businesses up and promote good service, sometimes you have to alert the masses. I came in this AM with a water sample; Dan was on the computer behind the counter so I just said "good morning" & stood there patiently. No acknowledgement - no "good morning" back or "I'll be right with you." Nothing. I'm sure he could see me, but I got to thinking "maybe he didn't?" So I made a bit of small talk just to make sure he knew I was there...again, I was NOT in a hurry. I said "hey, I see some of your decorating is done by some little ones," referring to the coloring pages that were adorning the front desk. “We have been happy customers of All About Pools in Rowlett for many years. These folks are terrific, and their family owned business is one of the best. Customer Service is impeccable. When we need pool advice, we call or go see Dan. He is the best resource of pool knowledge we have found. We buy all of our pool products and parts and supplies from this business. The Service Department is excellent. They determine the problem immediately and repairs are prompt and painless. I trust them implicitly. My husband and I recommend All About Pools exclusively. “This shop takes care of its customers. They are partners with a genuine interest in making sure your pool is beautiful and ready to host swimmers. We had a pretty serious recovery operation to perform on our parent’s pool and the owner walked us through the process of rehabilitating the pumps, filters, and getting the right chemical balance in the water. We followed instructions and the results were incredible. They don’t spend any money on advertising, so the savings are passed to the customer. “We started the 2024 season with a heater that had eroded and was leaking at the coil. I reached out to several sources and received some crazy recommendations without any real understanding of our needs. Ultimately we found All About Pools. Dan went out of his way to understand our pool, and discuss the different options to properly provide the heater we needed at a great price. We ended up buying a Raypak AVIA with a Nitek coil. We are so happy with the purchase and are now able to control not only the heater, but 2 valves over WiFi using the Raymote application. A big thank you to Dan for helping us not only get the right heater for our pool, but answering so many questions we had to ensure our pool is operating well so we can enjoy the summer! “Great service, take my water there on Saturday for testing and can get everything i need. They have also serviced my pool equipment. Couple of weeks ago i had some landscaping done in backyard pool area, then yesterday evening went out for an evening swim and lights didnt woork. I called about my pool lights not working and to see if I could get a tech scheduled to come and troubleshoot and fix the issue. The owner had answered my call and after explaing everything to him, he says before we go any further let's see about some common issues that won't cost you anything to check or fix. He asked me about a grip outlet and did I check it and reset that. We'll that fixed the issue and didn't cost me. They are good about helping you out as much as possible to keep you pool cost as low as possible. They are great!!”

“We transferred our pool maintenance service to All About Pools in May 2020 and immediately noticed a positive difference in the quality of customer service & care that we received. Every contact from this family owned business was professional, informative, and pleasant. Sarah, the Accounts Mgr is cheerful and very helpful each time I call. Nathan, our pool tech is very detailed in the maintenance of our pool and is always on time. Jeremy, our repair professional is phenomenal... putting it lightly. His knowledge and passion shine through with each job that he performs. He tackled multiple preexisting issues with our spa, pool panel, & equipment and educated us along the way. He works diligently and efficiently to minimize the cost to us and promptly follows up each time to address any questions or concerns we may have.
