San Antonio Cinderella Pools

San Antonio Cinderella Pools handles pool service work out of Schertz, Texas. The family owned outfit run by Susan Tessier along with her two sons and daughter focuses on replastering and resurfacing inground gunite pools and spas. They also take on crack repairs, tile and coping work, lighting and equipment fixes, deck restoration, acid washes to clear green water, regular cleaning and maintenance, and full pool inspections. The business covers San Antonio and the Hill Country area with those services.

Customers have described new pool builds that include custom additions like spas, waterfalls, colored lights, and tile decks. Several mention replastering and refinishing jobs that refreshed older pools, along with repairs to pumps and other equipment. Jim handled a re-tile and re-finish project that wrapped in time for a party, and other crews completed gunite installations that left pools easy to maintain afterward. Some reviews note the work came in at competitive prices and met the deadlines that were set.

The company responds to inquiries and keeps customers updated during projects according to several accounts. Work happens on schedules that crews stick to in many cases, with follow-up after the initial contact. Service stays local to the San Antonio and Hill Country region. A few reviews flag that jobs ran longer than the five days listed in contracts and that plastering got handed off to outside crews.

Reviews split between strong marks for finished pools and complaints about delays, trash left behind, and jobs left unfinished. The Google rating sits at 4 from 13 reviews, with repeated notes on both the quality of new builds and repairs and problems with completion times and follow-through. DIRT Score 2.7 from 13 reviews on Finds.

“All I can say is wow! Cinderella pools of San Antonio did an incredible job with my pool. In the past three years I have had 2 pools re-done on different properties and Cinderella and her team outperformed and out priced the competition. She is so easy to work with and gives you great suggestions on what to pick. She is patient and kind and an incredible person. My mother is so so happy. Don’t go anywhere else, pick Cinderella!”

“DO NOT HIRE CINDERELLA POOLS/Susan Tessier!! We filed a Small Claims and won, This company lists a vacant lot as their business address. They outsource to do plastering and they did a horrible job on our pool. Susan’s contract said the job would be completed in 5 days and it actually took almost 3 weeks for the job to be completed. Her company consists Susan, her 2 sons and daughter. Again, DO NOT HIRE CINDERELLA/SUSAN TESSIER!!”

“Best swimming pool contractors and designers in all of San Antonio! We hired Cinderella Pools to build our dream pool but they built our dream backyard oasis relaxation escape instead! They designed and built an in ground gunite swimming pool and tile deck and it looks and feels amazing! It is party central at our place. They worked on schedule, were always available for all of our questions and did an outstanding job. Thanks so much guys!”

“Huge thanks to San Antonio Cinderella Pools for our beautiful new in ground gunite swimming pool. They were one of the only pool builders in town that followed up with me after my inquiry about building a new pool with them. Their price was great and after meeting with Susan, I felt in my gut this was the pool company we should go with. Their design team worked in all the custom features our kids wanted, i.e. spa, waterfall and colored lights. The pool construction process all went so smoothly. The entire team did an excellent job of keeping me informed and making sure we were satisfied. Our pool is also amazingly easy to take care of due to the awesome floor cleaning system and cartridge filter. We highly recommend them to anyone in San Antonio TX looking to build a pool and we will be sure to call them for any future swimming pool re-plastering or repairs!”

“We contracted with Cinderella Pools a few years ago to design and build our custom in ground gunite swimming pool and spa. It's the first pool we've ever had but our family had been looking forward to it for a long time! We just wanted to say a huge thanks to these guys for our new pool installation. Their pool design team worked so well with all the custom features our kids wanted, i.e waterfall, colored lights, ect. and the swimming pool construction process all went so smoothly. The price was great and the crew met all of the deadlines promised. Their entire team did an excellent job of keeping us informed with updates and making sure we were satisfied. We were so impressed we kept Cinderella Pools on for all of the pool maintenance too. My husband and I are just too busy for all of the pool cleaning ourselves. We had them out last summer for a quick tile pool deck repair and hot tub service after we had a problem with the LED lights but nothing major. It isn't time to acid wash, pool resurface or replaster yet but when it is, we know just who we'll call. Our pool is closed right now for the winter and we were just talking about how we were looking forward to calling them out fo”

“I've been meaning to write this review for months and months. We hired Cinderella Pools of San Antonio last May for our hot tub and swimming pool construction. They consulted with us on the complete built in-ground gunite swimming pool design and worked around our busy schedule to give us the dream pool we wanted. We gave their number to our neighbor who hired them for a complete swimming pool remodel after their pool got damaged and needed pretty extensive swimming pool repairs and replastering. Our neighbors are just as satisfied as we are. If you are looking for a professional swimming pool contractor who go above and beyond, call Cinderella Pools!”

“Truly loved how my pool was refurbished and my waterfall received a well needed upgrade. Susan and Jasmine listen and did exactly what I wanted to accomplish with my pool & waterfall. All the team members were friendly and hard working. I’ve truly have enjoyed my pool and my guests as well.”

“Horrible. They left trash. They also refused to finish the job.San Antonio Cinderella Pools initially the owner appeared nice. However she took advantage of a situation, one, I JUST lost my husband, two I was purchasing services from out of state or should I say remotely. They told me something of mine was broken when I had already flown to Texas and seen my pool firsthand. Also, when she said I needed a new pump, I took her word for it. Only to contact the previous owner and find out that my pump was about a year and a half old. When I tried to ask her to just finish the job, she says he said he's not coming back you sent him away too many times. Long story short the customer service is NOT priority and they basically got over a thousand dollars out of me in less than 2 visits! The owner said last year he might have had to spend between 2 and 3 hundred dollars. Yes, I was had! But what goes around comes around , not necessarily in the same way Cinderella Pools. You could have at least remained courteous. And you weren't even that on the phone. Susan told me in the beginning she was just happy to have my business because things had been slow. No, she didn't appreciate my business n”

“We hired this company for new pool construction, a very large project. They handled everything professionally, and with good customer service. Our salesperson answered all phone calls in a timely manner, and everything was done within the time frame they specified, even finishing early. I would use them again, and recommend them to anyone who has new construction.”

“Jim is the man! He provided us with excellent service! We got the swimming pool re-tiled and re-finished and he did everything to make sure it was done in time for a big party we were having. Our swimming pool is always clean and we couldn't be happier with the service and price. Highly recommend.”

“Love to do business with nice folks at Cinderella Pools. They’re always there to help and do a great job.”
