About

Leslie's Pool Supplies runs a store in Southlake, Texas, that handles pool supplies along with service and repair. The location stocks chemicals, cleaners, vacuums, pumps, and related equipment. General manager Brad works there along with staff members Randy, Tim, David, and Fisher who assist with sales, water testing, and equipment fixes. The business provides free water tests that produce reports on what chemicals to add and sells maintenance products for ongoing pool care.

Customers drop off Polaris cleaners for repairs that sometimes finish in ten minutes while they wait. Others bring in booster pumps or pool vacuums for work and receive advice on parts or replacements. Water samples lead to recommendations for specific chemicals and equipment. Some jobs involve installations like heaters or pumps, though follow-up visits get mentioned when initial work does not hold up right away.

Service calls for maintenance often require several phone attempts to reach the separate service center and can involve waits of two weeks or more. Free water testing happens on site with printed guidance on needed additions. Prices for chemicals and hardware run higher than some other sources. The store keeps regular hours for walk-in sales and quick repairs, and staff handle transactions for both small items and bigger equipment.

The location shows a 4.3 rating from 64 Google reviews. Reviewers frequently mention helpful guidance from Randy, Tim, and Brad on repairs and products. Other repeated notes cover quick fixes for some cleaners, free test results that customers use as a starting point, and problems with return windows, missing parts after repairs, and higher costs compared to online options.

What Customers Say

“I have been coming to this location since I bought my house in 1991. Randy and Tim have provided the very best service and advice over the last few years and I wanted to make sure they knew that their efforts are appreciated. Thank you to both of you. Lloyd”

Lisa Stone

“Had an issue with my Polaris cleaner. Took it in for repair. They took care of it while I waited -10 minutes. They are always friendly, informative and reasonable!!”

Larry Stewart

“Sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for the kid to come help me and he would rather talk cars. Wanted to buy a high end vacuum. Not anymore.”

Ryan Buzzard

“We always received excellent and knowledgeable service. Randy is incredibly helpful when we bring in equipment for repairs. This is our go-to for pool supplies year round.”

SieSie TheSheriff

“Had a booster pump installed. They used a hose type connector instead of hard pvc pipe, lasted 1 week and now it has cavitatied. Tried to get them to come out but it is a 2 week wait. So now I do not have a vacuum. The store can not schedule the maintenance call so you have to give them days they call the service center, if they day is not available then you have to give them more days and then they have to call the service center again. Takes a min of 4 phone calls.”

Charles Lindberg

“Fast, quick, inexpensive service!”

John Boettcher

“I purchased a Polaris 380 cleaner from this location couple days ago. The store general manager Brad (Cunnigham) was very helpful during the transaction. He explained all details I needed to know with the cleaner. He was friendly, kind and very knowledgable with the product. He went above and beyond. I appreciated Brad's help. I later called him and thanked him for his assistance. I am very pleased with the product and service.”

“Terrible customer service. Overcharged by not applying advertised veteran's discount. I returned pool cleaner per manufacturer, should have included additional filters and should not have short cycled cleaning, sometimes ran for as few as ten seconds. Leslie's would not replace it five days after I bought it. Salesman said "it would not work in my environment." He was unable to articulate what environment that might be. He had an issue because I had cleaned the impeller, though this is normal, it is in the manual plus I was directed to do so by the manufacturer's customer service. I explained that twice without his comprehension. There was no management in the store and hold times at Leslie's were too long to get the matter resolved.”

David Black

“The customer service is okay. They provide free water test like most pool stores do. What I do is to use their test as reference and adjust based on my needs. The prices of equipment and chemicals are much higher than anywhere even with so called "promotion price". It is a good idea to shop online for your hardware if you can wait. You can go to trouble free pool website if you have questions about chemicals. The people there are knowledgeable and very helpful. They are not associated with any pool supplies company and will only tell you what you really need to buy.”

Frank Lee

“wonderful experience this past week. I needed chlorine and stopped by after work.. I recently had surgery and unable to pick up anything heavy. I was determining how I was going to ask the gentlemen to please bring this to my car.. I never got a chance. The assistant manager volunteered to bring it to my car. The Bonus was that he made sure it was all secure and then waited to open the car door for me to get in and close it also. Customer service at its finest.”

Laurie Baker

“Buyer beware... There is a 30 day return window. If you are one day past it, even if the product is unused and still in the full original package with receipt, you will be told "well, you should have come in yesterday". There are too many options online with places that have better customer service and better return windows.”

Jay Killion

“I spent $300+ (and 7 days) have our pool sweep repaired only to take it home and find out parts were missing. I called Leslie's to tell them and ask how to get it fixed. I asked if I could send them a picture of the missing part but the technician refused to give me his cell number (or Leslie's email address) so I could send a picture. SO, I drove 10 minutes to the store only to find out they don't have the part in stock. The technician laughed. I hate to expect good service these days, but really?”

Cathy Baldwin

“Don't ever buy big-ticket items in the store...call their e-commerce folks and have them price match to Amazon (or wherever). Got a quote from them for a heater install, then found the heater on Amazon for $1,100 cheaper than Leslie's regular price. With some rigmarole ("gotta call the district manager...") the store was willing to take off $350. They also acted like they were doing me a favor taking off the $200 that was their current "sale" discount. Forget that. After 5 minutes on the phone with a courteous Leslie's e-commerce rep, though, I had the thing ordered at Amazon's price for installation by Leslie's techs. Why they couldn't do the same thing at the store is utterly beyond me.”

Aaron Gerrick

“My parents dropped off a pool vacuum to have it looked at, the service department called and said it was a complete loss, so I went to pick up the pool vacuum and was given about 20 different parts to the now completely disassembled pool sweeper. Not to mention the lack of any customer service from the associates inside. Look elsewhere for your pool repairs or just buy a refurbished pool vacuum on the internet, this place is a rip off price wise too.”

Adam Sparks

“Leslie’s staff in Southlake was beyond helpful with superb knowledge of products to help with all things pool and parts needed to repair a piece of pool equipment!”

Dawn Demas

“Their personal advice has been helpful. They will try and sell you a ton of chemicals if you bring a water sample in, but a good place when you need pool knick-knacks, far better than Home Depot.”

Rhys Brown

“The staff at Leslie's in Southlake is always helpful and professional. All Leslie's locations offer free water testing with a report of how much and what chemical to add if needed. I find that the quality control of Leslie's is much higher than other retailers/manufacturers such as Walmart or HTH. The chemicals are little pricey but like I said, I think the higher quality is worth the price. I recommend visiting this location for all your pool needs”

“Brad the manager is a great guy, knowledgable on all the products and what you need! I never feel like I’m getting I’m getting sold under the rug. Thank you again”

“If you need anything for Pools man, come to this location randy, David, tim and fisher they got it and if they don’t man they would silver for you in a minute best Leslie’s out here 10/10”

JHOANN ALE

“We will never go back to Leslie's Pool supply. They are crooks and when I called them out on it one of the bald men behind the counter insinuated that I couldn't perform simple addition and subtraction. My husband was embarrassed and went to sit in the truck. Bottom line is if you have a coupon for $30 off over $120 u should get that $30 without being talked down to because they screwed up.”
