“My pool technician is Mayra Reyes. She is one of the best technician I have ever met. Very detailed and knowledgeable. She smiles every time I talk to her in spite of the challenging work she does on a hot summer day. I consider her an asset to your company.”

“They break your equipment and then charge you over $300 to fix it…. 07/07/07 We have been with this company and its predecessors for several years. Often on we've had minor issues that customer service was very quick to resolve. It appears those days are behind us. This weekend during a scheduled visit, the technician left open the electrical panel, the pump panel, and did not seat. The drain covers in the pool deck. On top of that he cracked the left pipe nut coming from the filter house by tightening it with a metal wrench and cracking it and simply walking away. The end result is well over 1000 gallons of water in my yard. I emailed immediately and after no response on Monday morning, I called them and basically got the blow off. Called back three times before Kraig took my call and promised me that it would be fixed this morning. Here we are at 6:15 on Tuesday evening and no-show. Left messages for Kraig with a promise for a call back and of course nothing. 07/10: after repeated discussions and assuring me there would repair the damage caused by their technician, they have decided instead to charge me $320 to repair the damage caused by their technician.”

The SPA draining issue went on for nearly a month until POOLTEC sent Miguel Aliza who was able to effectively analyze the entire situation. “I had great experience with Miguel Alizo. I had contacted three companies for pool repair, and Miguel was the best - knowledgable, friendly, and a great communicator. Whatever I asked about, he would comprehend, address in depth, and make logical sense. He also did good work. Aside from that, the PoolTec back office was slightly inconvenient to schedule with, calling from out-of-state numbers and didn't seem comfortable with written communication, but it worked out.”

“BEWARE! This company bought out my original pool company in March/April and took over all weekly pool services. It took less than 3 months for them to destroy the quality and cleanliness of my pool. I noticed it turning greener than ever beginning of May, but also knew it was time to get my filters cleaned so I reached out to them to get that done. I reached out via text/email/phone and didn’t hear anything back for two weeks. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and still set up for them to come clean the filters. After the “cleaning” of the filters the pool was greener than ever. We’ve always done chemical services only on our pools and always did just fine up keeping the rest on our own, so the only change was using this company who obviously has NO idea what they’re doing. The last straw was Memorial Day weekend. They came to service the Thursday prior, and by Friday it was already green. I emailed, sent pics on Friday as I was planning on swimming with my family over the weekend, but was unable to as the water kept getting more and more green. It looked like a swamp! Didn’t hear anything back from them until I canceled my services with them the following Tuesday. I ”

He checked each component to make sure it was functioning correctly and showed me how to reset the system. “Terrible. My old pool company was bought out by Pool Tec. My pool has been green for over a week with 4 requests for fix it. The Sugarland Supervisor didn’t return either of my messages. The tech came today for the weekly scheduled service, I guess we were just presenting that there wasn’t a problem? Business as usual, ha. The pictures were taken after my service today, which was accompanied by a report that the pool looked great. It’s comical really. 1/10 stars, do not recommend!”
