About
A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. runs pool service and management work from Tomball. They handle residential pool care, community pool oversight with lifeguards on staff, and new pool construction or renovations across the greater Houston area. The company keeps regular hours from nine to five Monday through Friday at their location on Boudreaux.
Homeowners describe routine cleanings that keep backyard pools ready, along with fixes for pumps that fail and full renovations that open up tight yards. Nick handles motor replacements on short notice, lighting jobs, and complete builds where he works around easements and HOA paperwork. Some community pools under their watch get steady attention from guards like Ashley and Ariel who sign people in and keep the area picked up.
They return calls the same day on service requests and send techs who show up at the agreed time with estimates that stay in line. Nick stays in touch through the work and answers follow-up questions months later on new pools. The outfit covers neighborhoods around Houston and manages both home jobs and larger community sites.
Reviews total 3.3 from 88 on Google with plenty of notes on friendly residential service and solid construction results from Nick. At the same time many point to lifeguards on phones, pools left dirty, and entry refusals at HOA facilities. DIRT Score 2.9 from 88 reviews on Finds.

“Autumn Laurel Pool has been lacking all summer. Tuesday, August 21 - Thursday 7/23, (before possible storm) the pool area still looks trashy! See pictures below. Upon arrival we wanted to go into the deep end and the lifeguard said we have to wait for the other lifeguard. OK, so we waited and we waited and I finally asked him if he was going to ask the other lifeguard and he said no…you go tell him! And this was in front of my 12-year-old child. So I had my child go TELL the other lifeguard that she was going in the deep end. Is this howHOA fees are being utilized? I’m tired of the lifeguards having an I don’t care attitude.”
“In Vanbrooke the lifeguards are school kids. They always claim that they heard thunderstorm and closing the poll. No commonsense. They always play on their phone. Train your employees properly. We pay to you for them to serve not sit and refuse service. How someone can hear thunderstorm in such weather?!”
“We have used A-Beautiful Pools to service our pool for 4 years now. We are very happy with the service, friendliness, and quick response to any question or issue. We also had them renovate our pool and the end result is just fabulous!”
“Couldn’t be happier with A-Beautiful Pools. Great customer service and they turned my backyard, which was oddly shaped and dark, into a paradise”
“Loved working with A-Beautiful Pools. Nick made it easy for us. We just sat back and watched. If you’re looking to build, I highly recommend A-Beautiful.”
“We went to cinco ranch water park today on Labor Day. The girl lifeguard at the front refused to let us in stating we need a key fob from HOA. I showed her my drivers license showing we are resident at cinco ranch literally 2 blocks from water park. HOA never mentioned about key fobs needed to get entry to the pool despite we had called them 3 times. The life guard saw our 2 little kids looking into the pool in the heat and refused to let us in. We called the supervisor Matt w the phone number on the sign, he also said No entry unless you have key fob despite we are legal resident of cinco ranch HOA and proved w our driver’s license. Your staff have no care for their fellow residents in cinco ranch, the high school life guard learned from your company to be legalistic instead of understanding residency and paying HOA fees are what’s important in gaining access. This company’s supervisor and overall culture is not family friendly. Seems company should not work at community pools of family friendly communities such as cinco ranch.”
“I live in Cypress Creek Lakes and we have 3 pools. The Cypress Creek Bend Pool is managed by A-Beautiful Pools. I wish that they managed the other 2 pools as well. The staff at A-Beautiful Pools is so friendly and professional, whereas the lifeguard behavior at the other 2 pools in my neighborhood, not managed by A-Beautiful Pools, has been unprofessional and lacking. Today, I visited the Cypress Creek Bend Pool. I was greeted at the gate by Ashley, who helped me get signed in electronically. Ashley and Ariel had great teamwork. While one was on the guard stand, the other was cleaning the pool and greeting guests. Great job Ashley, Ariel, and A-Beautiful Pools!”
“Dear Management of Beautiful Pools, I am writing to express a serious concern regarding an incident that occurred during our recent visit to your facility in Cinco Ranch Water Park. Friday, my 6-year-old son witnessed behavior that I believe was inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. When I noticed him mimicking certain actions and asked where he had learned them, he explained that he had seen a boy at the pool kissing and touching his girlfriend—both appearing to be on duty, smiling and seemingly unconcerned. If these individuals were indeed your employees, I find this behavior highly unprofessional, especially in front of young children. While I understand that relationships can develop among staff, I strongly believe that personal displays of affection should be kept outside of work hours—particularly in an environment where children are present. I respectfully request that you remind your employees of the importance of maintaining professional conduct while on duty. Thank you for taking the time to address this matter. I trust that appropriate steps will be taken to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests. Sincerely, CR Residents”
“We recently had our pool pump motor go up in smoke. I reached out to ABP on a rainy Monday morning. By mid afternoon Nick was at my door to take a look and provide what I felt was a reasonable estimate to fix our pump. He was apologetic that he wasn’t sure when he could get back out to do the repairs due to weather but would get back out as soon as weather permitted. Mid week there was a small window and here came Nick to make the repairs. Professional staff, reasonable prices, and fast service. Highly recommend.”
“I was referred to them for help with my pool lighting. I was contacted right away by Nick and we set up a time to meet and he showed up when he said he would show up. We agreed to do the work and he communicated and did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it, I had contacted several other companies, one of which ran off with quite a bit of money, but Nick really represented A Beautiful Pools the way an owner would be proud of. I cannot speak for all of their services, but I can tell you that if you are working with Nick, you will be very happy.”
“We used them to build our new pool, we did not have a lot of space to work with due to easements in the yard & Nick utilized every free inch to get us the perfect pool. Our HOA was a pain with rules & guidelines, & Nick was patient & accommodating assisting to get me all the paperwork & revisions the HOA requires. Even though we have had our pool for 5 months, as first time pool owners Nick ALWAYS answers the phone if we have questions. I highly recommend A Beautiful Pools.”
“A-beautiful pool is a cause of my kid and his daycare classmates (4 and under) for burning in the pool due to the chemical imbalance in Bridgeland neighborhood yesterday. Shame on A-Beautiful Pool! Don’t hire them unless you want your kids to be covered in blisters because these guys don’t know what they are doing”
“We built a pool and patio with A-Beautiful Pools. From the design process to finish, Nick was very professional and informative. He walked us through the construction process and monitored all the construction very closely. Took our small backyard and made our vision complete! We highly recommend A-Beautiful Pools and Nick.”
“My children were recently at a facility in which A Beautiful Pools lifeguards were on watch. I was highly impressed with their attentiveness to the large number of children in the pool. As a parent I have high standards for those on watch around my children. These guards exceeded my expectations. Thank you for doing a great job and helping but my nerves to rest!!!”
“Not sure what else we can say or do to motivate this company to fix their problems. Our HOA hired them to provide lifeguard and pool cleaning services for our Jordan Ranch community pool, and they have failed miserably on both. There seems to be problem after problem. Don’t waste your money on this company. Lifeguards seem to look for ways to maximize their break time at the expense of resident enjoyment. Some lifeguards are friendly, but most come across as being inconvenienced to have a job. I've never seen a lifeguard clean anything, and maybe that is not in their job description, but there is no excuse for the pool to be filthy all the time. Either the lifeguards need to be cleaning the pool, or A-Beautiful pools needs to SIGNIFICANTLY supplement their cleaning strategy because it isn't working.”
“Lifeguards ALWAYS on their phone. I’ve never once seen them brushing the pools, cleaning the tiles or taking care of the features then we have to pay higher HOA fees because the preventive maintenance is never done so we have bigger bills to fix pumps and fixtures. I have never seen them tell a kid not to run, it’s straight chaos. I was a lifeguard and a manager of multiple pools for years and I would have fired most of these employees and supervisors. If someone actually started drowning or hit their head, I’d be hard pressed to believe they actually could do anything.”
“A-beautiful pools shouldn’t even be in business at this point. This company services my neighborhood pool in Jordan Ranch and year after year and email after email, request after request, they refuse to keep our pool clean. Us residents pay a lot of money in HOA fees and look forward to the short pool season we have and it’s constantly ruined by the cleanliness of the pool and lack of respect from the lifeguards that are also a part of the problem. Hiring or contracting this company is the highest mistake you can possibly make when caring for your expensive pool.”
“Update 5/7: ZERO star. Day 1 of the supposedly pool reopen at Jordan Ranch (JR) and this pool company did not do its job. Johnson development has chosen to use this company for its community. Why? The lack of resident focused or community-well being initiatives is appalling. Johnson’s choice of property mgmt company, pool company and landscape mgmt company is abysmal. The presence of a ‘farm’ and ‘fun Director’ is a high-maintenance marketing gimmick. Bottom line: Poor selection of service providers being paid with HoA funds collected in the form of fees. It is a financial loss for the HoA fee paying residents. Out of the (180days) Texas summer, the developer has the pool scheduled to function for about ~70 days. Ofcourse, out of the 70 days, 10-20% will be lost to pool closures due to maintenance issues, lightening/thunder and lifeguard unavailability. This leaves residents with maybe ~45days. Let’s talk the allowed timings during these few days. The timings are from 10am to 8pm… so children/adults/seniors can all go and roast in the hot sun and burn our feet in the flooring that surrounds the pool. The pool is never clean and ready. The need for lifeguards is probably to reduce”
“Not sure about their services but it’s obvious they hire questionable employees. I was tailgated for miles by a company branded silver truck in rush hour traffic - horns, flashing lights, flailing hands.. the whole 9 yards. Seemed like the individual really had issues and didn’t care about how the business was being represented. So maybe think twice before hiring them for your pool services.”
“They try to nickel and dime HOA's which means higher dues if you life in some place that uses their "services". They also do not adequately support their lifeguards with the supplies needed to do their job. Excuses are all one gets from folks who work there. If you're on an HOA board, find another company. There's plenty out there who are better.”
