787 Construction

787 Construction handles roofing work along with gutters and painting out of Austin. Matthew leads the main jobs along with Jax and Jackson on the crews. They focus on storm damage roof fixes, water leak repairs, gutter installs and fixes, solar attic fan mounting, siding work, and full roof replacements. Mariana handles the first calls and scheduling while the crews manage the on site details from start to finish.

Homeowners call them for hail damaged roofs that need full replacement, porch overhang leaks after storms, old gutters that no longer drain right, and attic fans on steep or metal roofs. Matthew assesses the damage and lays out the options clearly. Jax and Fidel handle the installs with attention to sealing and cleanup. One job involved coordinating with a water remediation crew on a big interior leak while another covered kitchen flooring, cabinets, and paint all at once. Reviews note the crews close up static vents properly after fan work and keep daily updates going on bigger repairs.

They answer the phone around the clock every day and often call back within an hour of a request. Matthew shows up on time for quotes and sticks to the numbers without pushing extra work. Crews arrive as scheduled, finish on the promised days, and keep sites clean. Pricing comes across as fair in the reviews with clear explanations upfront. They work with insurance claims on storm jobs and coordinate with other services when needed.

The Google rating sits at 5 stars from 102 reviews. People keep mentioning solid communication, crews that show up ready and finish without shortcuts, and results that hold up on roofs, gutters, and related fixes.

“787 Construction installed an Attic Breeze SFA-35W solar fan on my two story house with a very steep roof. My initial visit with Mathew was very informative. I felt very comfortable with his fan/roofing knowledge and expertise. Jax and Fidel's team provided a good quality installation of the Attic Breeze fan and closing of closeby static vents to ensure proper fan operation and compliance with installation warranty guidelines. I was very pleased with the entire process and final result. The new fan should provide enhanced ventilation and lower attic temperature for two HVAC units. Kudos to the entire 787 Construction Team. “787 Construction redid our old kitchen from top to bottom. We love it so much!! All of the crews that they used (flooring, cabinets, countertops, paint, tiles, etc.) were excellent and we gladly recommend them to anyone. Also, our Project Manager, Jaxon, was wonderful to work with, as was our Contactor, Matthew. Thank you, 787 Construction. [see before and after photos below]”

“Great job by 787 Construction installing an Attic Breeze vent fan in our roof. Our attic is much cooler than before (which is not to say cool in these ridiculous 100-degree days!), which means our AC isn't working quite as hard, and the house seems more comfortable. We were worried about the installation on a standing seam metal roof, which is more complex than on a shingle roof. 787 wasn't our cheapest quote but Matthew impressed me with his knowledge about how to do this and his experience doing it. The company was responsive, everything was done as promised, and I'd definitely work with 787 again.”

“I had a significant water damage problem. Mathew was excellent in assessing the issue and explaining to scope and options to address it. When it was necessary to coordinated with water remediation service, Mathew's team communicated details and coordinated their work. The onsite team was excellent - Jackson and team were friendly, professional and detailed from site prep to clean up. Always provided a daily update on progress and next steps. I highly recommend the 787 team.”

“We were introduced to the company through our home management service Prefix. The communications and ability to schedule work was seamless and the quality of work was fantastic! Prices were fair and communicated clearly. Would definitely work with them again”

“What an amazing and refreshing experience it was to work with 787 Construction!! Distressed and anxious upon finding a leak in my house, I called PreFix, who recommended 787 Construction for repairs. Wary about calling, as woman alone can be treated dismissively, I read about them online and found only great reviews. So, PreFix contacted them, and only ONE hour later, I got a call from Mariana at 787 Construction. Her friendly and caring attitude put me completely at ease, and she arranged for me to meet with Matthew in only two days’ time. He arrived punctually, with a friendly smile and such an aura of competence and professionalism, (which complemented what I’d felt talking to Mariana), that I knew immediately I’d made the right choice. As Matthew carefully examined the exterior and interior areas around the leak, I followed, asking questions, which he patiently and confidently answered. He was extremely knowledgeable about of every aspect of construction, even down to knowing the make and color of my roof shingles. He never hurried me and stayed until all my questions were answered. An estimate came 3 days later, and upon my approval, Mariana went to work fitting me into thei”

“Matthew helped us with a gutter project, and was flexible and patient throughout the process. His quote was fair, and he didn’t push to upsell anything that we didn’t want. He also installed a chimney cricket and did some fascia repair, which no other gutter contractors were able to do. Thanks!”

“Matthew and the entire team were a pleasure to work with. I'm very pleased with how everything was handled, including setbacks outside of their control. They were professional, on-time, and went the extra mile when it counted. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a construction or remodeling team. A month ago, we hired 787 to install subfloor and tile in our master bathroom. They completed the job in a few days, and we're very happy with how it turned out.”

“It's always stressful when your insurance company is forcing you to replace your roof or lose coverage. With that in mind I had to go out and find someone that would be able to come out and take a look at our roof and give us options and a quote. In order to take advantage of the discounts offered if we used Class 4 rated roofing solution I did a search online and checked Owens Corning's website. 787 Construction came up on the list and I had seen them pop up here on Google and other search engines. I saw many positive reviews so I decided to reach out. Matthew responded promptly and we set up an appointment to chat and get a quote. He took some pictures, wrote up a quote and went over other potential solutions aside from a total roof replacement. He also gave us options on financing. We took some time to look things over and look at other options but based on our conversation with Matthew we felt comfortable going with 787 Construction. Setting up a date for replacement was easy and they came out, cleared off the old shingles repaired some damage caused by squirrels, and put the new roof on. They were efficient, cleaned everything up and did a great job. There may be che”

“I recently had Matthew from 787 Construction out to my house to diagnose a potential roofing issue, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Matthew was incredibly respectful, friendly, and took the time to make sure he completely understood the problem. His communication was crystal clear, and he patiently answered all of my questions, ensuring I understood everything he was explaining. It turned out the problem wasn't related to my roof, but that's where Matthew's exceptional service truly shined. Instead of just leaving, he spent even more time helping me understand the actual issue and walked me through my options. He then went completely above and beyond by personally following up with my home repair service to explain his findings and make sure they would contact me for the next steps. I am more than impressed with Matthew and the integrity he showed. It's rare to find this level of customer service. I was genuinely disappointed the problem wasn't with my roof because I would have loved to have someone as trustworthy and professional as Matthew working on my home. I can't recommend 787 Construction highly enough!”

“787 is fantastic!! Matthew is helpful and knowledgeable! Him and his crew are honest and hard working! They did such quality work when they replaced our roof and fence. They went above and beyond when it came to repairing the small details as well. I highly recommend them! It was a wonderful experience!”

“After a big storm, we had a leak in our porch overhang that we needed addressed. We decided to find someone who could fix it, take care of some normal wear and tear damage for our wooden siding/window frames, AND give us a quote for gutters. We thought we’d need multiple contractors, but 787 Construction was able to tackle it all! Along the way, I was given options and suggestions on what could wait vs needed attention now. The prices were more than fair and the work was done very well. I’d use them again any time.”

“Could not be more pleased from the quality of work and customer service from 787 Construction. They always answer my questions and if they couldn't help they made sure someone could! Would highly recommend”

“I had a roof repair done by 787 Construction and they were amazing and very reasonably priced. They arrived on time and as scheduled and completed the repairs quickly. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a top notch company to handle your roof issues!”

“I’ve used 787 for several projects both at my primary residence and rental property. Most recently, I’ve had them do a full roof replacement. Every time, they are super communicative, on-time, easy to work with, and offer a fair price.”

“The whole experience start to finish was great. I’ve been burned before with a flood that happened in my house and I lost faith in companies and contractors. Matthew and Jaxson (Jackson* ahh not sure) were so reassuring and super nice and transparent about the whole thing. Communication, quality and ethics. You can’t go wrong picking 787 for your next project.”

“Prefix connected me with 787 Construction to clean out the roof vent from my dryer. From my first communication with them I felt confident in their ability & work ethic. I was given an estimate on what the work would cost & once accepted I was quickly put on their schedule. They came out on time & got the job taken care of quickly & efficiently. Thanks to Matthew & his team! I would definitely recommend 787 Construction!”

“My home had damage from a hailstorm. I interviewed several roofing companies and 787 Construction won my business by a wide margin. Matthew and his team were very pleasant to work with, thorough and patient in answering my questions, and quick on a couple of follow-ups. They put on a new roof, new rain gutters, and had some window screens repaired for me. I highly recommend 787 Construction.”

“Had extensive water damage due to water pipe break back in February from freezing temps. My life was disrupted for 4 months waiting on insurance companies to battle things out. Once rebuild finally started I was skeptical of what was to come. 727 made everything seem so easy. Every step of the process was provided upfront and there were no hidden surprises. All work done as planned. I would highly recommend this company for any rebuild, contracting needs. Jaxson was very courteous and made sure everything was completed on time, clean, and everything in place so that I could carry on with living in my condo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“Matt was great to work with, he was honest and professional. Asked him to assess our roof after the ice storm and he told us that everything looked great (many other companies might try to take advantage). He repaired gutter damage and wood siding around our windows that was rotting. Used high quality materials, communicated timing and finished product looks great! Update: several years later we needed our roof replaced due to hail damage. We worked with 787 and I recommend them highly! They made working through insurance a breeze. We had excellent communication throughout the entire process, they followed through on timelines, always cleaned up after themselves, and the end product looks fantastic! In addition to the new roof we also got new gutters, downspouts, screens, fence staining, and other miscellaneous tasks that needed updating.”
