Austin Roofing Company | Texas Choice Roofing

Texas Choice Roofing operates as a roofing contractor out of Austin, Texas, and handles both residential and commercial roof repairs along with full replacements. The company covers metal roofs, shingles, tile, TPO, and designer styles. Drew owns the business, and the crew includes Justin, David, Jackie, Cody, and Jon Nielsen who run the day-to-day work. They hold both residential and commercial roofing licenses and serve Austin plus nearby spots such as Round Rock, Buda, West Lake Hills, Lakeway, Georgetown, and further out to Houston and The Woodlands.

Homeowners call them for big roof replacements on houses over four thousand square feet with multiple slopes, hail damage fixes after storms, leak repairs that start after heavy rain, and full insurance claim handling. David shows up the next morning to stop attic drips and walks the whole roof for extra checks. Justin finishes jobs in one day on large homes and fixes rotted decking with custom boards when needed. Cody inspects hail hits and shows photos so owners know if replacement can wait. Jackie coordinates solar panel removal and reinstall during closings while keeping overseas clients updated. Crews strip old layers down to the decking, replace felt to code, and finish with straight lines and solid flashing.

They answer calls fast, often the same day or next morning, and keep owners in the loop through every step with clear updates from the first quote to final cleanup. Pricing comes in lower than other bids on hail jobs and full replacements, and they finish most installs in a single day even on complex roofs. Work starts as early as six thirty in the morning and wraps by mid afternoon on many projects. The team leaves yards clear of nails and scraps, moves plants when asked, and works Saturdays until six while staying closed on Sundays. Service reaches Buda in the Sunfield area and neighborhoods in Round Rock and Circle C Ranch.

“I had my roof replaced recently by Texas Choice Roofing and had a very positive experience overall. This was a fairly large and complex roof (over 4,000 sq ft with multiple slopes and valleys), and the crew handled it efficiently and professionally. They arrived early with a full team and completed the installation in a single day. The workmanship looks solid — shingle lines are straight, and all key areas like valleys and flashing appear well done. Their pricing was competitive compared to other quotes I received, which made the decision easier. They also did a thorough job removing debris and nails, and the property was left in very good condition. Communication with Drew and Justin was smooth throughout the process, and they were responsive when I asked for documentation related to potential attic insulation issues after a recent leak. Overall, I would recommend them to homeowners looking for a reliable roofing contractor.”

“Contacted Texas choice roofing after a hailstorm this past spring after speaking to several other roofers in the Georgetown area. Was quoted a very fair price (much lower than other options). It only took them a day and the workers left my yard looking better than before. Thanks for a well done job Texas Choice Roofing. I will be recommending all my friends your company.”

“GREAT roof repair experience. Our ceiling started to leak after heavy rain. David with Texas Choice came out quickly the next morning to diagnose. We really appreciated the quick next day response. He fixed our roof/ceiling leak the same day at a very affordable price. We live in the Sunfield neighborhood of Buda so I wasn’t too sure if they serviced our area, but am so happy they do! Will definitely recommend to anyone in Buda or greater Hays area. They are definitely our go to for roof repairs now. If you don’t like salesy corporate companies, go with these guys.”

“We had an incredible experience with Texas Choice Roofing and the owner, Drew! We had a roof replaced while under contract, which can often be a stressful process, but Drew and his team made everything smooth from start to finish. Their pricing was reasonable, communication was excellent, and the new roof looks incredible. We will absolutely be referring Texas Choice Roofing to others in the future!”

“Texas Choice Roofing is by far the best roofing company I’ve ever worked with. From start to finish, the crew amazed me with their speed and precision. They had our roof completed quicker than I expected and every detail was done right. On top of that, they left our property spotless. I didn’t find a single nail or piece of shingle scrap anywhere. The owner, Drew, sets the bar high when it comes to excellence and customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond on our project. When he discovered rotted wood on our front patio decking, he took it upon himself to custom order special 2x6s to make sure the repair was done the right way. That kind of integrity and commitment is rare these days. If you want a roofing company that truly cares about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers, Texas Choice Roofing is the one to call. Five stars all the way.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Texas Choice Roofing. Specifically, David and Justin were absolutely top notch; knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. They walked me through every step, answered all my questions, and delivered excellent results. It’s rare to find professionals this dependable and easy to work with. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing roofing work.”

“TCR should absolutely be your first call for help! David was quick to respond to the issue on my roof that was causing water to drip into our attic. Despite being a quick fix, he took extra time to walk the entire roof and inspect other areas for possible issues. This kind of detail and hospitality validated the recommendation from Creative Comfort Solutions and I will, without a doubt, reach out to David and the team whenever I need anything in the future.”

“We had a great experience working with David and the team on our roof replacement. David was incredibly helpful throughout the insurance process, always responsive, and kept us informed every step of the way. “Big shout out to Justin and his team for the amazing job they did. We had our roof and siding replaced. Justin was very professional and helpful throughout the process answering all my questions and communicating our needs with the team. I highly recommend Texas Choice Roofing for your needs. It feels great not having to worry about our roof and siding anymore, thanks again!”

“I was really worried about my roof possibly leaking after the recent hail storms. Cody came out, did a complete inspection, and showed me pictures of the damage. BUT he put me at ease, that it's not time to replace my roof yet. The inspection was free, but the peace of mind was priceless. When it's time to replace my roof, I'll definitely be using the professionals at Texas Choice Roofing! Excellent customer care!!!”

“I cannot express enough gratitude for Jackie at Texas Choice Roofing & Solar—she was an absolute lifesaver. When navigating a complex house closing where the roof had to have solar panels removed, the roof replaced, and the panels reinstalled—all while my clients were overseas—Jackie truly went above and beyond. From the very first phone call, Jackie demonstrated remarkable professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care. She coordinated between multiple teams, kept the timeline perfectly on track, and ensured that every moving part fell into place—even across time zones. Thanks to her leadership and tireless help, we were able to close on schedule, and everything went smoothly. Jackie’s ability to handle stress, manage expectations, and execute complicated logistics is nothing short of extraordinary. She made a seemingly impossible task feel seamless—and at every step, I felt confident and supported. If you ever need anyone to orchestrate roofing, solar removal, reinstallation, or any project with tight coordination under pressure, Jackie is the one you want. Texas Choice Roofing & Solar is lucky to have her, and I’m deeply thankful for her help.”

“I would highly recommend Texas Choice Roofing for your roof replacement in the Round Rock area. I worked with Jon Nielsen and he was very helpful answering all my questions, was prompt in getting back to me, and guided me through the process of getting my roof done as a first time homeowner. I was impressed with their speed and efficiency in getting it completed. They started at 6:30 AM and were done by 3:00/4:00 PM. I had observed that various neighbors here in Paloma Lake who had their roofs replaced, due to hail damage, had crews that typically took up to 2 days to complete roofs that were comparable in size to mine. They did an amazing job on the cleanup with no remaining debris, compared to what was left behind when my adjacent neighbor had their roof done. I was very impressed with the job that was done and my new roof looks amazing! They were very kind and treated me like family.”

“We just had our roof replaced a couple of weeks ago and would highly recommend these guys. Cody was great to work with, and he was really patient with all our questions and requests. He was very responsive during our bid process, and his estimate came out very fair compared to others we had gotten. One of the things we really liked about them was that they insisted on removing all layers of felt paper down to the roof decking and placing new layers of felt up to code standards. As you can see from my picture, they uncovered FOUR LAYERS of old felt and a few spots of rot in the wood where water had gotten underneath over however many years the original felt had been on there. We were so glad we decided to go this route. Apparently, not all roofers recommend removing all of the felt. Our roof is about 1,400 sqft., so the crew was able to finish it within a day, starting at around 6:30am and finishing completely by around 3:30pm. The on-site project manager, Justin, was excellent and kept us updated on the progress. They were all so fast and efficient, and they honestly left our property in better condition than when they started. They used a magnet to sweep our yard for any loose ”

“Working with the team at Texas Choice was incredibly easy! From our initial conversations with David to our on-site manager, Justin, and the crew, we were impressed by how communicative, professional, and transparent everyone was throughout the entire process. The project was completed smoothly and we always felt informed every step of the way. Highly recommend for any of your roofing needs!”

“Texas Choice Roofing is by far an exceptional Roofing Company I would recommend to anyone considering a new Roof. I have contracted with them on 2 homes in the past year. My primary contact was Justin Stidham who is highly experienced in the industry. Justin was exceptionally prompt in his responses. As example, I was selling a home in Circle C Ranch in Austin and needed a quick quote. Justin made my request a priority, stopped by that day and even responded to my questions at 11pm at night when I had no expectation for a response that late. Our Buyer for the property had some specific requests on the roofing job requiring a few extra touches which Justin made sure happened within an hour of my asking. I cannot say enough about this company, Justin Stidham and their focus on "Customer Service." In my book Texas Choice Roofing is the example all businesses should follow when it comes to customer satisfaction and execution on the delivery of service.”

“The new roof looks great and even better, protects the house ! Justin was so helpful in making the right decisions and then the follow through could not have been better. The installation team was professional, careful, and friendly. The clean up was perfect. No scraps left behind and they also helped moved the plants on the deck!”

“Great company to work with! They were friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the entire roof replacement process hassle-free. Everything moved quickly, and they handled almost everything, so there was very little for me to do. I highly recommend them!”

“I needed my entire metal roof replaced due to hail and tree damage. Justin Stidham with Texas Choice Roofing was great to work with. He was highly communicative, professional, and everything went very smoothly. The work was done on time and on budget - no issues. He worked directly with my insurance company, which made things easy for me. Highly recommend these guys and 100% would use them again!”
