“Mike, James, and the Clear Choice Roofing team navigated last year’s hail storm and floods chaos with great professionalism, but what really put them in the 5 star category was their ability to keep pressure on State Farm to make good on insurance coverage of damages. This was the 2nd time CCR replaced our roof, and their 1st time helping us with siding, flooring, drywall, and electrical after storm damage. All the work was done well despite challenges (e.g. the water remediation company cut and removed our wood floors in the most asinine way which forced CCR to carefully use the available discontinued flooring we had leftover from our renovation). I needed some flashing work done around my chimney the first time, and they did a great job for a very fair price. I was provided before/after pictures which was quite helpful. “Working with Clear Choice Roofing was awesome. My estimate contact was Mike, and he answered emails and texts at all times of the day or night, even though I never needed him to. He was concerned about service and they matched another company's pre-steel-tariff estimate after the tariffs were in place. They also assured me they knew how money would work through the insurance and mortgage companies before I even asked. They worked with me on my schedule, starting exactly when they said, and finishing at their earliest estimate. They even worked with my plumber to make sure some venting repairs could happen while the roof was being redone. And I have a beautiful copper colored metal roof now. Yay! Unexpectedly, both their bank and my bank changed their policies about three-party checks AND my insurance company dropped the ball twice on getting my claim money to me (apparently an employee left the insurance company and didn't poss their work off). “We hired this company to replace a couple of shingles and perform a full roof inspection required for the sale of our home. The roofer, Russell, quoted us and said it would be done in 1–2 days. I clearly stated multiple times that we needed the inspection and documented proof for our sale contingency. After initial contact, he stopped responding to my calls and texts for 3-4 days. I called the office multiple times and kept getting the runaround. I didn’t have time to hire someone else due to our tight deadline, otherwise I would have. When the job was finally completed, they sent an invoice for more than what was quoted. On top of that, there was no mention of the inspection -even though I had been very clear from the beginning. The office adjusted the price after I pushed back, but still failed to include the inspection report. After several more calls, they eventually updated the invoice correctly. This should have been a simple job. It turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I don’t recommend this company. I’m easy to work with and was willing to let it go at the time, but now that they’ve asked for a review, here it is. I'll give them 2 stars considering th”
