Papa Bear exteriors

Papa Bear Exteriors runs roofing and exterior work out of Austin with Tim Chittim and Gina handling the family operation. They cover residential and commercial projects across Travis County, Williamson County and nearby areas including Cedar Park and Leander. Their services include roof repairs, full replacements, TPO roofing, asphalt and architectural shingles, metal roofs, siding, decking, fascia, soffit, fencing and storm damage restoration. They also take on insurance claims, general repairs and preventative maintenance with crews available every day around the clock.

Homeowners called them for leaks after storms and got fixes the next day. Tim and the crew replaced entire roofs on older homes, installed standing seam metal, and handled commercial properties while keeping sites clean and organized. They built quick covers and heaters to protect water systems during freezes, worked through insurance paperwork without issues, and completed jobs on time even when material deliveries ran late. Reviewers noted the crews stayed on schedule, explained steps clearly, and left properties in good shape after each project.

Jobs start with a call for inspection or claim help and move forward with crews arriving on time and finishing without extra charges. Pricing stayed straightforward with no push for unneeded work. They serve Central Texas counties from their location on State Highway 71 and keep lines open for updates throughout each project. Communication stayed direct from first contact to final walkthrough.

The company holds a 5 rating from 212 reviews. Reviewers keep mentioning fast response, honest dealings, clean job sites, and steady work on storm repairs and replacements.

“I would like to thank Mr.Tim Chittim the owner of papa bear roofing and exteriors, I have several commercial properties in Austin Texas and he is the most professional roofing contractor I’ve dealt with, perfection, and communication, Again Thank you Mr.chittim”

“When the Chittim’s pulled in my driveway to ask about property lines for our neighbor’s work, they quickly helped me prepare my water system for the upcoming freeze. For the last two ice storms in Spicewood, our system exploded from lack of warmer coverage . The Chittim’s were able to quickly construct a covering and heater that survived this past freeze. Thank you Papa Bear Roofing. You have put us at ease for ice storms to come. Highly recommend!”
