VHB Roofing

VHB Roofing works out of Chandler, Texas on roofing jobs for houses in the region. Established back in 2000, the company belongs to Brian Howard who runs everything himself and meets clients in person without any salespeople or estimators involved. They plan to mark 25 years of operation in 2025 while holding contractor number AROC 280676. The team concentrates on roofing needs that come up in East Texas where heat builds up fast and storms roll through often enough to test every roof on a regular basis. Homeowners appreciate having one person handle the details from the first call onward.

VHB Roofing handles tile roofs and shingle roofs as the main services for properties in Chandler and nearby spots. East Texas weather means roofs take a beating from constant heat that dries out shingles fast and sudden rains that push water under loose tiles or flashing. Jobs often include full replacements when insurance covers storm damage or targeted repairs on leaking areas that show up in attics after heavy weather. The owner Brian Howard works on each project in person so materials get chosen right and installation follows through without delays from extra hands. This direct approach fits the needs of local houses that see plenty of sun and wind year after year.

Homeowners rate the outfit high on speed when calls come in after damage appears and on the quality of the finished roof that stands up to more storms. Price stays reasonable with no hidden costs added later and communication flows easy since the owner stays involved the whole time. These points add up in a place like Chandler where roofs face tough conditions often and folks want results that last without extra headaches down the road. The consistent feedback shows why the numbers sit where they do after hundreds of jobs completed. DIRT Score 4.81 from 428 reviews on Finds.

“It’s never good when your neighbor sends a text saying “your roof looks weird” after severe winds! Brian at VHB Roofing replaced our roof several years ago and the last storm had such powerful winds that it lifted and broke a couple tiles. I called Brian at 8:30am and he fit us into his schedule and had the repair done by 10am. Now THAT is customer service! Highly recommend VHB Roofing! Thanks again Brian.”

“I cannot speak highly enough about VHB Roofing, owner Brian Howard and his team members! After discovering a water leak, I was concerned about finding a reliable contractor who could address the issue quickly and affordably. After getting numerous quotes, Brian exceeded all my expectations on every front. His pricing was very fair and competitive, didn't try to sell me something i didn't need, proving that quality roofing work doesn't have to come with an inflated price tag. What truly impressed me was the seamless process from beginning to end. Brian provided a thorough free quote promptly, and the turnaround time from estimate to scheduling and completion was remarkably fast. In an industry where delays are common, VHB Roofing's efficiency was a breath of fresh air. Brian clearly tak”

“Brian Howard and VHB Roofing did an excellent job in replacing our current roof. We had purchased a home with an old roof which had previous leaks and had not been taken care of properly. Brian and his team replaced the roof and brought it to new condition within one week of start time. Throughout the process Brian and his team communicated well. We had to remove and reinstall solar panels. VHB Roofing coordinated with and recommended the company to handle that part of the process. In all, this is an excellent company!! I would highly recommend Brian and his team for your future roofing needs.”

“Best roofing company ever!! VHB did our roof 4 years ago. The owner, Brian Howard, came over to inspect and fix any issues with our roof prior to selling our home. Brian is an honest businessman who stands proudly behind his product. Hire VHB Roofing. You will be happy you did!”

“Brian, owner of VHB Roofing was very attentive to detail and answered all my questions leading up to signing the contract and once work started his crew worked with attention to detail and competed the job in a timely manner and they were always respectful of our home and property. Thank you Brian and Junior”

“The entire VHB team was awesome. Brian is very friendly and professional and the crew showed up when they said they would, did a great job, and finished when they said they would. Very hard working team and the roof looks great! Thanks, VHB!”

“VHB Roofing provided timely and professional service relative to roof damage to two of my homes that resulted from a microburst that occurred in South Tempe. VHB Roofing was referred to me by a friend, is registered with the Registrar of Contractors, and upon research had received excellent reviews on-line. When meeting with the project manager/owner, Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He showed me pictures of the damage to my roof and provided a reasonable estimate for repair on both my homes (less than $1K for both homes). Repair was done as scheduled. I would highly recommend VHB Roofing without any reservation.”

“Crew was very courteous and clean. Cleaned up debre every day. No delays. They came when they said they would and showed up every day. Recommended them to a friend as well.”

“VHB Roofing recently replaced the roof on my home and I couldn’t be happier. They were competitively priced, incredibly professional, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. The crew was hardworking, clean, and genuinely friendly—making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!”

“I had several roofers come out, but after meeting with Brian and reviewing the proposal, we decided to hire VHB to replace the underlayment, with some other required fixes for our curved tiles. They arrived on a Wednesday morning and the work was completed Friday late afternoon. They cleaned up every day after they were finished. We went with 2 layers of underlayment for the same price most others were charging for 1 layer. If you want honesty, fair pricing and a hard-working company, this is the one for you. Brian is easy to work with and does the final inspection himself. You also pay when the job is done.”
