The Roof Guys

The Roof Guys run a roofing operation from their Conroe office at 28100 Robinson Road Suite F. They have covered The Woodlands, Spring and the north Houston area for more than 20 years. Their crews handle roof repair, full replacements, storm damage work including hail and wind, emergency tarping, leak detection, metal roofing, commercial roofing, gutter installation and siding installation. Every job begins with a free inspection, and after hail, wind or hurricane damage the team photographs and documents everything for insurance claims. Labor on completed work carries a 10-year warranty.

Homeowners call them for roof replacements on storm-damaged homes, vent fixes that previous crews left wrong, leak repairs from loosened satellite dishes, and full insurance claim handling with companies like State Farm. Cash managed the paperwork and approvals so owners paid only the deductible on one job. Torrick and Anna Henry ran complete installs from start to finish on multiple homes, while Caleb responded the same morning to storm calls and had repairs done by mid-afternoon. Jay and Shantel coordinate the overall work, and crews trim trees or cover pools when needed to protect the property.

They answer calls and texts quickly, often within minutes, and give foremen personal cell numbers for follow-up questions. Work runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with crews arriving early and finishing in one day on many replacements. Reviewers note the crews keep sites clean, remove debris, and charge less than the original quote on some repairs. Service stays inside Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring and the north Houston zone listed on their profile.

They hold a 4.8 rating from 77 reviews. Common points include fast scheduling, insurance claim help, efficient crews, and neat job sites. DIRT Score 4.5 from 77 reviews on Finds.

“This is the second roof I’ve had The Roof Guys install. The entire team was great to work with. Very quick response with the quote and availability to complete the project. The foreman gave me his personal cell to ensure any questions would be quickly addressed. I was concerned about debris in the pool and they covered the entire area with plastic The roof looks beautiful but more importantly I’m confident in its installation quality.”

“I just moved into a new home, and the roof is about 2 years old. One of the items noted on the inspection was that the dryer exhaust vent had been installed incorrectly when the roof was replaced. I messaged Roof Guys, and they arrived on time and were extremely prompt. The rep looked over the entire roof, identified the issue, and confirmed my dryer exhaust had not been impacted before installing a new vent hood. He cleaned up the work area and was very professional, explaining where the previous roofer had gone wrong and exactly what was needed. Super grateful for their help!”

“Cash was outstanding with communication through the whole process. He did all the work in getting the new roof approved with our difficult insurance company (State Farm), and he helped us all the way through submitting the paperwork needed to my insurance. Highly recommend these guys! All I paid was my deductible! They even threw in a tree trimming!”

“TRG team was amazing. They did a great job on our roof from start to finish. Communication was top notch. They were kind, professional & our neighbors even commented throughout the day how smoothly the installation went. This new roof has been a long time coming and I can't believe how much of a difference it makes to the appearance of our home.”

“These guys are great! They are super affordable and quick with repair! I called in the morning and had my roof fixed before 3pm! Our sewer vent on the roof was cracked. They replaced the whole vent and even charged us less than quoted!”

“The Roof Guys replaced our entire roofing system on our home in August 2025. They did an excellent job, and now we have a beautiful new roof! They were incredibly helpful in counseling us about all aspects, including insurance. And they were very responsive to our questions, concerns, and requests along the way, even down to helping us choose our shingle color and select a new ventilation fan. Ana, Torrick, and the owner Jay were all very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. They usually responded within a few minutes of calls or texts. I would definitely recommend these guys.”

“I have installed roofing and built homes. I have never observed a harder working professional crew or a better installed roof! Jay and Shantel run the most professional, efficient, and customer friendly operation I have ever experienced. In addition, Torrick and his lovely wife came out before the roof was installed and explained the process in the most respectful and courteous way and spoke to the adjuster. I really believe they all deserve 6s and not 5s. Mark L”

“The roof guys replaced my 20 year old roof 4 years ago. They did an excellent job. I had two satellite dishes on my roof. The storm loosened the satellite dishes and I had roof water leaks inside my house. I called the roof guys and they repaired my roof water leaks. The staff did an excellent job. I would recommend the company. The satellite dishes made the damages not the roof guys. I canceled my satellite dish services and the roof guys removed the satellite dishes. They also do gutters too !! Thank you so much again”

“We just replaced our roof with The Roof Guys. They were amazing! A sweet father and son duo. They came and gave a free estimate. They found hail damage and we were able to go through our insurance company. The Roof Guys also met with the insurance adjuster. It was just such an easy process and their people did a great job. We didn’t realize a roof replacement could be so fast and easy. If anyone is considering a new roof, please speak with them. You won’t regret it.”

“Two excellent experiences with The Roof Guys. First was a great installation experience. The roof is beautiful, and they left the property in great condition. They then came out again to recheck the roof after the storm to make sure everything was okay. I am very happy with The Roof Guys and will be happy to use them again if needed.”

“The Roof Guys assisted with my insurance adjuster during the initial roof inspection to get a good adjustment / settlement from my insurance company. They scheduled us for an installation very quickly. Their crew showed up early (6 am) on the day of the installation and worked efficiently through the day and completed by 5 pm including cleanup and removal. they did a great job on the installation and our new roof looks fantastic.”

“From the initial contact to the final installation, the company was responsive and thorough. While on-site the workers worked diligently and effectively. Other than a Birdseye view image, hammering and smashed down grass (from their trash tarps) there was no sign of them being here. They cleaned everything up and put everything back in its place. Highly recommend.”

“We had a great experience with Anna and Torrick. Helped us through the entire insurance claim. Part of our roof was not constructed correctly from a remodel the previous owners did and they were able to fix that for us as well. Very professional. Up front about the cost to us, including the work outside of the claim. Have already recommended them to friends and would use them again in the future.”

“We had storm damage and needed a quick replacement. Caleb came out right away and was so easy to work with. They had us on their schedule right away and the crew completed the job very quickly and neatly! It looks great! Highly recommend working with the Roof Guys.”
