“I can't say enough good things about AM.ON Roofing. We hired them first to redo our roof. They worked well with our insurance company to ensure they could cover it, were on time, and installed our roof ahead of schedule. We hired them again to remodel a 70-year-old kitchen and turn it into the kitchen of our dreams. They listened to all the details we wanted - from custom cabinets to a beautiful arch and gorgeous island, and even down to a specific water line we needed for our coffee machine. “Omar from AM ON Roofing and Remodeling was recommended to me for roof repair by someone I trust. I called Omar and left a message, he called back to set up a date for the estimate and followed through with phone calls and appointments as agreed to and scheduled from the first phone call until the completion of the work. Omar was honest about the work I needed and informed me he could also repair the water damage inside the house and multiple areas damaged outside of the house that needed repair. We’re originally from the Portland, Oregon area, and back in July 2024, we began our search for a new place to call home — somewhere with warmer weather, a slower pace of life, and a community where we could truly belong. At first, we explored Arizona, focusing on Tucson and the surrounding areas, but nothing felt right. We didn’t find the sense of home we were searching for. So, we widened our search and discovered Chaparral, New Mexico — and everything changed. The very first home we looked at in this up-and-coming area was built by Am.On Roofing & Remodeling, owned by Homar Navarrete. At the time, we didn’t know Homar had built it, but we decided to make the four-hour drive from Tucson to Chaparral. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love — with the desert views, the warm and welcoming community, and the beautiful craftsmanship of the home we viewed. That day sparked the beginning of our dream. Our realtor, Heather Hamilton from Coldwell Banker Las Cruces, introduced us to Homar Navarrete and his amazing team at Am.On Roofing & Remodeling. We also had the pleasure of meeting Deyra Loya, Tanya Ocampo, and later Aurora Nunez. Homar walked us through several of his finished builds, and every single one was modern, elegant, and beautifully crafted. While we were impressed by each home, we realized we wanted something uniquely ours — a custom home that reflected our style, our needs, and our vision. Homar made that possible! We began working closely with Homar, his incredible team, and our realtor Heather to bring our dream to life. We never imagined we’d be able to build a custom home, but Homar gave us the confidence and guidance to make it happen.
