“This company is worth every penny. Travis has been very helpful. Called for some roof work quote and they came out immediate and keep me up to date thru the process of the work. Every thing came out great. Will use them again for any roof issues.”

“I recently had some roof damage that needed to be repaired, and I’m really glad I chose this company. From the moment I reached out, they were friendly, professional, and quick to respond. They came out, explained exactly what the problem was, and made the whole process easy to understand. The repair was done faster than I expected, and the quality of the work looks great. “If I could give 0 stars I would. My appointment for roof repair was set for January 16 and was done through my warranty company American Home Shield. I spoke with Veronica, office manager, prior to the appointment and made her aware that I wanted to be present when the work was being done. Without any notification, roofers just came out on January 14 and later stated they patched the two areas that needed to be fixed. I spoke directly with Randy Ponce, the owner and he advised that he let them go out early because rain was in the forecast for January 16. While that wasn’t true, I was willing to let it go if the work had been done correctly. I asked for detailed work reports and photos. In reviewing what they did, they did not in fact patch the areas that were what they were contracted to do. I spoke with Brandy again and he stated he would send roofers out on January 19 to address the problem. No one came at their scheduled time of 8 to 10am. I called several times and left voicemails sent text messages and got no response. When I finally did get to speak to Veronica, she said that Randy was on another high profile job and could not be reached. A roofer came that day at 4:30pm, talked with me briefly on where the leaks had come inside my home and left. Later Randy stated he never scheduled an appointment on January 19. He also stated that everything was done and that they were not going to be following up anymore. I have had another inspection of the roof done and it was concluded that they did not do the work that they were contracted to do. They patched one area that did not have any damage. Further, Randy lied several times and has left me out of the money that I paid and I still need to get the roof repaired. Mountain Star Roofing, were neither honest nor did they do quality work and did not communicate unless my warranty company got involved.”

“Terribly crooked company with horrible workmanship! We hired them to do our roof and interior repairs a year and a half ago. Our roof leaks worse after they put shingles on! Once it rained and we told Randy Ponce about it he tried to blame our skylights on the opposite side of the peak of the house (Not even physically possible!) They gooped tar all over our fairly new siding! We stopped hearing back from them other than asking for more money, after they had already collected $32,000 including some for the inside of our house, which Randy texted and declined to finish the job, despite having been paid up front from our insurance! We are now currently in legal proceedings against Mountain Star Roofing and the owner, Randy Ponce. I should also add that they were slamming the shingles down on the roof so hard that it was extremely loud in the house and made the sheetrock come down in our bedroom and kitchen WHICH WE HAVE PICTURES AND VIDEO OF EVERYTHING!”
