Horizon Roofing, Solar and Exteriors LLC

Horizon Roofing Solar and Exteriors LLC works out of Fort Smith TX with roofing as the core of what they handle for homes and businesses. They take on full roof jobs along with storm damage fixes and hold GAF certification that lines up with the materials they install. The crew covers the Greater Fort Smith region plus spots across the line in Northwest Arkansas such as Van Buren Alma Greenwood Fayetteville Springdale Rogers and Bella Vista. Their site lists insulation and Tesla power wall options too so they bundle exterior work when a roof project brings those needs into the same visit.

Roofing crews in Fort Smith deal with hot summers that bake shingles followed by sudden storms that bring hail and high winds. Homeowners often call when leaks show up in attics after heavy rain or when wind lifts sections of older asphalt. A typical job starts with an inspection to check decking and flashing then moves to tear off old layers if the underlayment has failed. Crews put down new shingles or metal panels seal edges around chimneys and vents and make sure gutters still drain right. In this part of the state it pays to check for weak spots before summer heat turns small cracks into bigger problems and before fall winds test every seam.

Customers give the company steady marks on job speed and the way crews keep the work area clean which adds up to the overall rating across dozens of completed projects. Quality shows in how the new roofs hold up without callbacks for loose flashing or poor drainage and price comes in fair for the scope of materials and labor involved. Communication stays straightforward with updates on timelines so homeowners know when crews will arrive and finish. DIRT Score 4.35 from 46 reviews on Finds.

“Horizon Roofing - and Hunter Temple as my Project Manager - get a 5 Star rating from me! From the initial introduction to appointed meetings to the actual days they were working on site at my home to the customer satisfaction walkthrough and followup after the project was completed! Every single phase of this job was carried out and completed on time with the utmost in courtesy and professionalism. My roof is very steep with many hips and valleys which made the project extremely complex and challenging in many aspects. All safety precautions were employed, which was very important to me as it ensures the well-being of the craftsmen actually doing the work. As a nurse, this was a priority for me. Another priority of mine is excellent communication and Hunter NEVER left me hanging - he an”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Hunter and his crew were incredible. They took great care of us in a quick amount of time. Highly recommended to anyone needing an honest, dependable, roofing company!!”

“To say this company is exceptional would be a major understatement!!! Horizon roofing should be your choice for any of your needs...I cannot say enough how incredible the people are at Horizon, they made my roofing replacement process so smooth. Took care of everything with my horrible insurance adjuster, completed the roof in less than 2 days, and were so fast to come out assess and start the process. Would give 10 stars!”

“Horizon Roofing did a great job on the repairs needed to my roof. Brandon responded quickly to my call. The job was completed quickly with no problems. Brandon was professional and kind. I would recommend company for your roofing needs.”

“The way the guy drives truck number 4 is so bad that I wouldn’t want these guys anywhere near my property. I drive over the speed limit most of the time, and this guy had me dropping my jaw as he swerved all over the interstate in a construction zone.”

“This company did a great job. They worked with me from the estimate all the way to install, cleanup, and final pay. I can’t say enough about the crew that did the work. A large roof done in a day. Clean up and even trash that they were not responsible for that ended up in the yard with the wind. I highly recommend Horizon.”

“To say my experience was a nightmare, would be putting it lightly. I hired Horizon due to damages from the May 2024 tornado. My wife and I understood that the company would most likely be busier at this time so our expectations were not unreasonable. Here are the problems we ran into: • Start date to finish date was excruciatingly long to say the least. We’re talking hire date, August 2024 to February 2025. Let me also say, my wife and I observed our neighbors get their repairs taken care of in weeks using different companies. Most repair jobs being larger than ours. • Damages to our irrigation system occurred as a result of their so called “repairs”: irrigation pipes were damaged digging the hole for installation of fence post. They agreed to fix the issue and “did”. Upon Spring op”

“The tenants in our rental property told us the roof was leaking and we contacted a different roofing contractor who told us to file an insurance claim for storm damage. Insurance denied the claim since the leak was not from storm damage. It turned out our initial contractor was new to the business and not sure what he was looking at. Luckily Hunter from Horizon Roofing was recommended to us and immediately saw the cause of the leaks. The roof was only five years old, but most of the nails were placed way too low on the shingles causing leaks over much of the roof. The workmanship was so bad that the only fix was a new roof. Hunter was great guiding us through the type of roof to choose and made the process easy. He and his crew replaced the rotten deck boards, fixed the incorrect roo”

“Corey Ragsdale is my contact there and I couldn’t be more pleased with him. Before I chose Horizon I met with several other companies but no one except Corey provided excellent customer service, and fought with my insurance company . The workers were all very professional and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Corey made sure everything was done correctly and answered all my questions, some which were probably kind of silly since I know nothing about roofing. I’ve had to call the office several times and Dana, the office manager was always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company and would use them again. Thanks Corey!!! Diane Phillips”

“We limewashed our house and did 90% of the work ourselves. We contracted Horizon to complete the paintwork that we could not reach. We also had them install new gutters. We wanted a custom color for gutters not in stock locally and they were the only ones who took the time to source the materials and they did an excellent job. They were punctual, clean and professional. The price they quoted me was the exact price of the invoice, nohidden fees or charged after the fact. Would definitely recommend and use again!”
