Willis & Son Roofing and Seamless Gutters

Willis & Son Roofing and Seamless Gutters works out of Hot Springs, Texas as a family roofing outfit that handles roof work and gutter installations for houses across the area. They take on projects that range from full roof replacements to fixing leaks and adding seamless gutters that keep water moving away from foundations. The business keeps things straightforward with free inspections and estimates for anyone who calls in, and they stick to practical methods that fit the demands of local homes rather than chasing trends. Their focus stays on getting roofs solid and gutters clear so houses hold up through whatever comes their way.

Roofing crews in Hot Springs face heavy summer heat that bakes shingles and occasional storms that bring hail or high winds capable of tearing up older roofs. Common jobs include stripping off damaged layers, laying down new materials rated for the climate, and running seamless gutters to handle runoff during downpours that can flood yards fast. Workers show up with the right tools to patch leaks before they spread into attics, replace sections hit by wind, and make sure flashing around chimneys and vents stays tight. Homeowners often deal with these issues after years of sun exposure or sudden weather shifts, and the company handles the full process from tear-off to cleanup without dragging things out.

Customers give steady marks for solid roof work and gutter jobs that hold without callbacks, along with fair pricing and clear updates during the job. The score reflects consistent results on quality and speed without extra costs showing up later. DIRT Score 3.85 from 133 reviews on Finds.

“Willis & Son roofing did our roof a few months ago and they did a great job. The salesman, the roofers and the owner are all super friendly and helpful. They were quick too! They work quick and did an exceptional job. We have the best quality roof around hands down! Thanks!”

“Willis Roofing replaced our roof in 2025. Tim Tague inspected our roof and was the lead supervisor of the job. We had a high impact roof installed by Willis Roofing. Their installers were the best. They did an outstanding job and cleaned-up impecably while performing the roof installation. My insurance company gave me a $3,500 discount off my homeowner's premium after the roof was installed. Call Tim at Willis if you need a roof. They will treat you right!”

“Drive by 609 berger and look at the roof on my house . That Willis and son do the worst roofing I've ever seen. Pulled decking nails out did not replace the decking on my kitchen has turned up and created leaks. He did none of the extras i added, but he charged me over $2000.00 extra to do . Started patching leaks 3 years after the job was done. Still patching leaks. I will never recommend them for anything. He basically stole over 2000.00 dollars for work bid and charged that was extra over thev7500.00 he charged for the roof .he also charged me for 2 layer tare off.and theory was only 1 layer on my house. I added a kitchen in 1989. The entire house roof was torn off and put back in 89. 33-year roof still not leaking even with hail damage. I owned and operated Buckholz construction fo”

“Great experience from beginning to end. Ritchie did a great job explaining what I needed from picking out shingles to cost of replacement. The crew worked quickly, professionally and was respectful of my property leaving nothing behind when they were done. I highly recommend Willis and Sons. LEFT THIS WONDERFUL REVIEW IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE JOB. A FEW MONTHS LATER HAD A HAIL STORM AND USED THEM AGAIN FOR THE SECOND ROOF. NOW THAT ITS LEAKING….NO RESPONSE!”

“Called them on the phone and they had someone out the same day. He gave me a good estimate. 4 days later a team of men showed up and tore my roof off and re-shingled it that same day. Very happy with new roof.”
