“Great service. Job was professional. I initially dealt with Eliot who walked me through the warranty, materials, and workmanship. Very personable and knowledgeable. Anthony was the project manager and answered all my questions and resolved issues. Chris the QC guy came by and checked on progress. The crew was very good and knowledgeable. “Update 3: I do believe the customer service we received was an anomaly for their regular standards. The follow ups that we have received indicate to me that they really do care about how their service is received. I would recommend this company. Update 1: while I was initially impressed with this company, ultimately I am unhappy with their customer service. My roof was installed on July 21, 2025. It is September 17, 2025 and they still haven't finished the job. They convinced me to purchase gutters that had to be corrected four times because the person who sold them to us didn't look closely enough at our soffits and the installers were not experienced enough or did not care enough to adjust due to the error made by the Quality Control Manager, Chris, who inspected the roof and sold us the gutters, which were suggested to keep the roof warrantied. The gutter crew came out four times before they were finally appropriate. The company was supposed to send out a roof quality inspection after the last gutter re-fitting (because the gutters they installed caused some of the roofing shingles to lift off the roof). My review is solely about my experience with their door-to-door sales approach. A representative came to my door, and I listened because I didn't want to be rude. I even offered him water because of the Houston heat. I politely declined multiple times and explained that I don't make decisions about our home without the other homeowner present. I also said I wasn't comfortable providing personal information or scheduling anything. Despite repeatedly saying "no," I continued to be pressured into giving a phone number and speaking with someone on the phone. Later, another representative came to our home, and even after we again declined, he continued asking us to justify why we weren't interested. What bothered me most wasn't that they knocked on my door—it was that my repeated "no" wasn't respected. No homeowner should feel pressured into continuing a conversation or scheduling an appointment after clearly declining. Companies never know what someone has experienced in life. He was very professional and saw the problems i knew and showed me issues that were in urgent need of repairs that I wasn't aware of. “Please teach your tone deaf sales people professional boundaries. I have a “no soliciting” sign on my front door that also says “please don’t knock or ring the door bell.” Two of your sales people first walked up my driveway to look at my roof (uninvited) and I went outside to inquire what they were doing, but they walked to my front door. They knocked AND rang the door bell not once, but TWICE. I answered and allowed them to introduce themselves. One went directly into his sales pitch and I let him finish before I asked if he read my sign. He acknowledged that he read the sign, laughed and said that he knocked and rang the doorbell anyway, because in his opinion, people usually have those signs for “solar sales people” not “roofing sales people.” I kindly advised him that my sign is specific to EVERY sales person. I sincerely hope that is not what the company is teaching its salespeople. I was pretty calm and kind until he continued to dismiss me and rattle off the rest of his sales pitch. “June 30,2026 DC Pines Roofing Knowledgeable and friendly, B. J. Thomas initiated our discussion about a roof concern he noticed when passing my house. I had an exhaust pipe that was missing a cap and collar that would have prevented rain from leaking into my attic. Great observation and much appreciated. We talked and I decided to contract with them to replace my roof .The team removed and replaced damaged wood and roofing parts as needed. Mr. Thomas was thorough in examining the roof and attic for roof related issues observed from those vantage points. There were numerous other issues that were remedied thoroughly during the new roof installation. All interactions were helpful, polite and my questions were answered to my satisfaction.
