Alex Storage Sheds

Alex Storage Sheds operates as a shed builder and roofing contractor in Kyle, Texas. The owner has seven years of experience constructing storage sheds and runs the company, which is registered with the Better Business Bureau and belongs to the Kyle Chamber of Commerce. Services include building custom sheds in multiple sizes with design options, painting them to match home exteriors, roof repair, roof installation, and shed maintenance. The business covers Kyle, San Marcos, and University City, and maintains hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week.

Customers hire the company for custom sheds including unique five-sided structures with hip roofs, playhouses, workshops, and structures that meet strict HOA rules. Some projects involve moving existing sheds to new properties or replacing roofs on both houses and sheds while using leftover shingles for matching. Crew members such as Chris, Juan, Lalo, and Tino handle the builds, with reviewers noting that the team completes work on schedule and produces sturdy results with features like ramps, double doors, and two-tone paint.

The owner responds promptly to calls and site visits, supplies upfront price estimates for different sizes and options, and sticks to those figures. Communication continues through the project, and the crew works efficiently while leaving yards clean. Pricing comes in lower than big chain builders or other quotes received, with some customers allowed to pay only after final approval. The service area includes the listed Texas cities, and the team handles both new construction and maintenance jobs.

The business holds a 5-star Google rating from 48 reviews. Reviewers repeatedly note strong build quality, customization flexibility, fair costs, professional crews, quick timelines, and clean job sites.

“We had a great experience working with Alex Storage Sheds and absolutely LOVE the finished product, a playhouse for my daughters. My wife contacted Alex after doing an online search. Not only did Alex offer the most reasonable pricing; he was also the most responsive and offered the most options in terms of customization of our playhouse. For each different size or option, he was good about giving price estimates up front and sticking to them. Once we decided on a size, design, and features, Alex and crew spent several days constructing the playhouse, painting, and finishing. They were very professional through the whole process and kept the yard as clean as could be expected through the construction process. The finished product, as you can see in my photos, is awesome - way better than most commercial playhouses (which, by the way, run twice the cost or more). There are fine touches all over. Alex and crew did a custom bevel design on the white edging boards around the roof, as well as on the door. They also installed cute purple shutters, also custom. The inside is fully finished. It has a laminate floor and paneling on the walls and ceiling, making it easy to clean a”

“As you can see from the pictures, the 5-sided shed I needed built was a unique shape with tricky angles. Numerous builders turned me down after seeing my plans, saying "Sorry I don’t really get involved in hip roofs or random shapes on the building." Alex and his guys came in and far exceeded my standards! His lead man, Chris, continuously communicated with me throughout the build. The entire crew was extremely nice, hard working, and all-around awesome people. We have a few more projects we need done and I will wait until Alex has an opening to squeeze us in. Don't waste your time and energy on any other builders/contractors, CALL ALEX!”

“I must have talked with 4 or 5 shed companies before I chose Alex Storage Sheds. When Alex and I discussed my project, I got a good feeling right away. Every time I asked about a particular detail, Alex said, "sure, we can do that - whatever you want!" He quoted a fair price, brought an amazing, hardworking team, Juan and Lalo and they finished on schedule. Plus, they were super friendly and tidy. Best of all, they built a fabulous, good looking shed! I highly recommend Alex Storage Sheds.”

“Alex was easy to work with and did an amazing job. His prices are better than the big shed companies and built with good quality materials! Will highly recommend him to family and friends.”

“I live in a rural ranch area "neighborhood" that has a variety of custom built homes. Mine is also a custom home which I designed. When I researched the various types of sheds available from box stores and popular shed builders, I wanted someone whom I could speak with face to face and not a front desk clueless person specifically someone that could offer an affordable custom structure. After my initial call to Alex, he came to my home to see my site. His straightforward demeanor, quote, and assurance that I would be satisfied with the quality of any structure he built was the determining factor for choosing his business. The structure and price was exactly what I was looking for and was very pleased with the quality of material and work including the exact Sherman Williams paints that matched my home and not some "close" match of lesser quality from a box store . The crew took their time and were very attentive to detail. They were very professional and precise on every cut and detail. I HIGHLY recommend Alex Sheds to those serious about wanting a quality and long lasting shed. Of course, it always helps if you know either exactly or very close to what you want in a structur”

“Needed custom designed shed for strict HOA in Plum Creek Kyle. Had a design in mind and the end result is great. The shed is very nice quality with robust locks and hinges. Very well put together and matches the exterior of the house nicely. Not cheap but high quality. We are very pleased with out come..”

“Alex and his team did an amazing job on my custom workshop/shed. Hands down the right decision to go through his company. There are several options out there for sheds but his price was beyond fair and the quality is top notch! It’s more than I could have expected and the quality shows through his passion for his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex Roofing and Sheds to anyone looking for a quality roof, shed, workshop..you name it!! They are experts at the craft and extremely professional.”

“The first time I hired Alex's team was to replace the roof on my house. He and his team did such a wonderful job and was so much more inexpensive than any other quote I received that when it was time to replace my shed, there was no other company I wanted to hire. Just like my roof job, Alex and his team built the absolute most beautiful shed. He was on time and on budget. The shed has now been up for a couple of weeks and I couldn't be happier the quality. The shed is strong and from what I can tell, 100% water proof. But more than that, it's about the attention to detail. I had left over shingles from my roof replacement. He used these to cover the shed so as to match the house. Furthermore, he used the exact colors of my house when painting it, and the paint job is beyond perfect. Alex even put a vent on the roof of the shed... I've never seen that before! If you are looking to have a shed built, there is no one better than Alex Storage sheds, please give him a call and I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!”

“We chose Alex Sheds to build our new shed after comparing his quality, price and availability. We met with Alex at our home and we found him to be professional and willing to work with us to build exactly what we wanted. Alex’s team members are all exceptional builders, friendly and hard working. We enjoyed watching the day to day progress and we were amazed at the quality and skilled workmanship. The finished building is a work of art and we couldn’t be more pleased. Check out Alex Sheds before you buy. You will not find a finer building for the price built by an owner with great work ethics and integrity.”

“If you’re needing a shed built, Alex Storage Sheds is the one to call. I just had mine built by him and I can’t be more pleased. Alex and his crew are very professional and really now what a customer is looking for. I shopped around for months looking for the right shed builder and I realize now how lucky I am to have found this company. I first went to our local big chain shed builder and my experience was not very positive. I decided to wait and do my research. I found Alex Storage Sheds on a Friday. He came by to see the location where I wanted the shed and the following week they were building it. Alex the owner built us a custom shed with more options and at a more affordable price than any other company I talked to. We were amazed at their work skills and the finished product reflects it. We have a beautiful shed. Thanks Alex!!!”

“I was shopping around for a shed making sure I did my due diligence to get the best overall service for my hard earned income. After a few days of research, I narrowed it down to two companies and I ultimately decided to go with Alex Sheds based on the conversation we had over the phone. We agreed on the customization of my project and within two days my shed was completed with all the specifications agreed during our phone conversation. The quality of the work, the prompt response to my questions, and every custom specification was met and far exceeded my expectations. The price was more than reasonable and far below the price of what Home Depot or Lowe's would charge for the same shed installed. The shed was built in my backyard it was leveled, painted (the paint was provided to match my house; you will have to find out the colors and text them to him), the shingles matched the house, skirt was installed, ramp, double door, window, and vents. If you are looking for quality work at a reasonable price this is your company. You will be missing out on a great experience should you go with anyone else. I am one happy customer and will without hesitation highly recommend this”

“Alex and his crew did an amazing job on our storage shed. They build a very well made shed that looks great in just a couple days. We wil definitely be using Alex on our next project.Highly recommended”

“Alex and his crew did an AWESOME job building our 12ft x 16ft shed. They worked quickly, professionally and took pride in there work. We are absolutely pleased with the shed and the overall experience. If you need a shed or something like that built, look no further because you won’t find anyone better than Alex and his crew!”

“We love our new shed. We had a 10X10 shed built on our property. Alex returned our call promptly, he came out to give us an estimate, showed up when he said he would. Tino did an excellent job and is a very hard worker. We got an awesome shed for an excellent price. They removed our old shed and built the new one in just 2 days.”

“We were very pleased with the 10x20 storage that was built for us. The crew members were very polite and friendly. Alex’s crew were also very efficient, they left no trash behind. I would recommend Alex Storage to anyone, even my family. They did a very nice job, it was a professional job done. Overall, we were very satisfied and happy with his work.”

“I'm very impressed with the finish product. Shield all nail holes and shield trim major this she'd look one piece. They also added a ramp, building steady and strong making it easy to walk. Excellent work from the beginning to the end. From triming and matching the paint to match the house. I will refer Alex Storage Shed to my family, friends and some my neighbors loved it. Stated beautiful work and will be reaching out to set up appointments. I'm giving Alex Storage Shed 5 Stars and if I give the company 10 stars and proud of the product and it's worth the work and they stand behind their work.”

“The team was so responsive and professional. My husband and I needed a shed moved to our property. We called Alex Storage Sheds after receiving no response and our calls going straight to voicemails of several transport businesses. Alex Storage Sheds was available the very next day at 8:00 a.m. They did a great job and were very prompt. Would definitely recommend! I wish everyone did business like them.”

“Alex was flexible in meeting with me and my wife. He explained the process and gave us suggestions based on our needs. I went with a 10x12 to help declutter our garage. The finish product was more than I expected. The planter and shutters dress up the shed so it’s not an eye sore. The double doors make it easy to move things in and out. The two tone paint makes the shed stand out in a good way. He even wiped off the door hinges to make it all clean. I can’t recommend Alex Storage Sheds enough.”

“Alex & his crew were great. Built an 8x10 shed that well exceeded expectations. Weather delayed build, but guys came immediately soon after. Alex did not require payment until shed was complete & to my liking. I recommend them to all.”
