“After wind damaged our roof, Jake and Freddie came out to inspect and explain our options. They explained the damage, what to expect from the insurance company, and Jake even came out when the insurance adjuster was on the property. Although our claim was denied, Jake gave us options to pursue with regard to appealing the decision. We set up the work for two weeks out. Freddie and the crew arrived at dawn and began setting up tarps to protect the landscaping against the house. They had the demo finished by noon and started on the new roof itself. The crew was very courteous and worked fast. They worked until after dark. The crew was meticulous in their work as well as the clean up. The landscaping was well protected with no damage. Freddie was very helpful in going over what was done as well as setting up someone to come correct a wonky gutter that needs straightening. He came back the next day with his magnet roller to quadruple check for any nails that may have been missed, and to inspect the roof in the daylight. “Our neighborhood was hit badly by the September hail storm. Roofing companies smelled blood in the water and swarmed. I received many cold walk up sales persons and a stack of name cards. Some of the companies came as far as Dallas and Houston. I decided we should support local businesses and nailed our choice down to Perennial Roofing. Shawn was very responsive to my texts and he answered a lot of questions regarding the quality of the shingles used. He also worked with my insurance company to ensure the adjusted estimates are within reason. His crew was out the following week at 6.30am. They made sure protective screens and tarps were out out to protect my plants and outdoor furniture. I watched as his crew expertly removed the damaged shingles and hand carried the new ones on the roof. Each new shingle was hammered by hand. The crew worked fast but they were not sloppy. By 4pm the same day, my new roof was up! Shawn and I did a final walkthrough and he checked that all debris and nails were cleaned up.
