About

T.O.T.L. Roofing runs as T.O.T.L. Construction LLC out of Midland, Texas. The crew handles roofing work along with solar installs and occasional remodeling jobs across the region. They take on full roof replacements and repairs, with plenty of storm damage cases and insurance claims for both houses and commercial buildings. Homeowners in Midland deal with high winds and hail that beat up shingles fast, so these contractors show up ready to assess damage, coordinate with adjusters, and get materials on site without dragging things out.

Brody meets customers at the house for initial checks and stays through adjuster visits and crew start times on residential and commercial roofs. One job saw the team fight an insurance company for six months until they approved both a new roof and solar setup, with Jennifer and Harley handling the details until everything cleared. The same crew detached and reset the solar array plus finished the roof all in one day and left the yard clean. Another customer called about a patio cover and got a 32 by 12 foot concrete slab plan drawn up the same evening they came out to look.

Homeowners praise how the finished roofs stay tight through bad weather and how the crews move quick when a leak shows up or a claim needs pushing. Pricing comes in fair with no padded extras, and the crew keeps communication direct from first call to final inspection. Small details like showing up on time and finishing cleanup right matter on every job. DIRT Score 5.0 from 55 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Brody handled multiple aspects for our project From being on time to appointments meeting with adjusters and even on the job when the crew started work. Both our residential and commercial jobs went smoothly and look great

These guys are legit! I contacted them on Dec 14th about having a patio with a cover built onto the back of my house. They came over that evening to check out the house, we talked about what I wanted, and they came up with a plan for it on the spot. We decided to go with a 32'x12' concrete slab with a welded frame holding up some propanel. After they sent me the quote, Harley was really cool about working with me on the price. He offered different alternatives and estimates until we agreed on a price that I was happy with and he could do a quality job with. They already finished it today (Dec 29), and it came out great! I have no complaints about the job they did for me. I will definitely be using them in the future, and will recommend them to any of my friends who need a job done.

TL;DR As a customer, follow up until everything involved with your claim is done; with insurance and contractor. Be relentless and hold both accountable. They will do the same to you. I want to be clear; the only reason I am leaving 5 stars is because small businesses already have it tough enough and just because my experience was frustrating and untimely, that doesn't mean the company deserves a bad rating. However, an honest review I feel is mandatory. I received a knock at my door some months ago with Jennifer and Brody asking if my roof had been taken care of as I had a section of it missing and they were in the area. I had issues with my insurance company and after quick discussion, I enlisted their assistance in getting resolution on my claim. Within a few days, the claim was corrected and my full roof, along with a few other items, were deemed total loss and to be replaced. Once I placed my 50% deposit to get the work started, they were timely in response and completion of work on the day of services. (They arrived around 7 AM and left around 10:30PM. I have a larger roof on a second story.) When scheduling the job, I stressed the need to be cautious with my spending as I had just transitioned into a new job and needed to be sure I didn't go broke in the process. I was assured that if it took a few weeks after it would be okay, as they understood that I would be waiting on my depreciation check to make final payment. Fast forward to middle of August, where they reached out asking about final payment. I informed them a couple days later letting them know I would pay it that day however I still hadn't heard anything about depreciation or an additional supplement I had requested. I was informed they would look into it and that companies were being slow. Fast forward again, after no communication about anything I had requested, It was demanded that I pay final bill. I proceeded to make payment immediately and then requested again information about my depreciation check that I still had not received. After my multiple attempts at phone calls and text messages to both Jennifer and Brody, it took me calling the Google listed number to get a hold of, guess who, Jennifer. She informed me of her personal reasoning for have not responding, (which is completely understandable, however didn't excuse the time frame in which it occurred.) Unfortunately, I had made attempt to contact the only other contact I had, Brody, many many times with no response. It is beginning of October at this point. I finally reach out to the insurance company, (not sure why I didn't sooner), and was informed that the adjuster didn't have all the information to complete the claim. I again reached out to Jennifer and Brody and was told it would be sent. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, I was CC'ed on some of it, and some of it I was not. Here's the issue, 1. Zero follow up. Is some of it my responsibility? Yes. However, as the contractor, you have an obligation to assist the customer in completing the total transaction. You made me sign a contract. You have responsibilities in that contract as well. 2. Poor communication after physical services have been rendered. I can show a decent size list of forwarded phone calls, unanswered texts and emails not responded to. Once they got their money, I was no longer a priority as a customer. It was incredibly unprofessional to be ignored by a company that was paid thousands of dollars for a service. I can look back where it was asked of me to complete a review for them and I'm glad I didn't at the time, I may never have gotten this resolved. The most worrying aspect of this all is that it took maybe a 10-15 minute phone call between the adjuster and TOTL to make resolution of this for me. I physically did not have the documentation to fix the issue because it was never sent to me and no one would respond to me. Once insurance got documentation they needed, my depreciation was released immediately. Unfortunately, I never received any update on the additional supplement I had requested.

Very Professional! They fought with my insurance for at least 6 months and got my roof and solar approved. I can’t thank Jennifer, Brody, and Harley enough. Customer Service is unmatched. Not to mention roof, solar detached and reset was all done in one day. Clean up was top tier. I would most definitely recommend this company! Excellent work and customer service!

They did an excellent patch job until my insurance came through and then installed a new roof. They did a great job and handled issues with my insurance company as well: Jennifer is super easy to work with and always responds quickly
