Aurum Roofing

Aurum Roofing operates as a roofing contractor out of Pflugerville, Texas, with Jose running the business. They handle roofing inspections, roof repairs, and full replacements on both homes and commercial buildings. Additional work covers skylights, attic ventilation, metal roofs, tile roofs, slate roofs, and flat roofs along with chimney services and waterproofing. The company also takes on siding installation, gutter work, and exterior painting when those jobs come up alongside roofing projects.

Customers call them for hail damaged roof replacements after storms, shingle repairs, leak sealing around vents and chimneys, and temporary patches to stop water entry until full fixes happen. Jose and his crew have located hidden leaks by getting into attics where others guessed, repaired front porch leaks with caulking and sealing, added tube skylights, installed cement board siding, and fixed drainage issues on flat roofs with multiple levels. Reviewers note the crew finishes these jobs while keeping properties clean, moving patio furniture out of the way, and removing all nails and debris at the end.

Jose responds the same day to inquiries and often delivers written estimates within twenty four hours after an inspection. He shares live picture updates through a cloud drive so homeowners stay informed, works around solar panel removal timing, and coordinates with insurance companies on claims. Pricing comes in as reasonable and competitive compared to other bids, with honest assessments that sometimes mean telling people their roof still has life left instead of pushing replacement. The crew operates in Pflugerville and nearby spots including Austin, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Hutto, with hours running seven to seven Monday through Friday and seven to five on Saturday.

Google shows a five star rating from one hundred twenty five reviews. Homeowners keep mentioning Jose by name for clear communication, attention to detail, fair prices, and thorough cleanup after every job. Many return for second projects or refer friends after seeing the quality of the work and the way the team keeps them updated throughout.

“We are beyond satisfied with the work and interactions we had with Jose. Communication was great, he let us know exactly what to expect and then met those expectations. We have solar panels that we were required to have removed by the solar panel company and he was very willing to work with their timing. He and his crew were very professional and made sure to clean up after the job was complete, including putting back our patio furniture that they had moved so they weren't damaged in the process. Jose came highly recommended from a friend and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with roofing or solar panel needs.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Aurum Roofing, and I can confidently say the experience exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, Jose, the owner, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and honest throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. What really stood out was Jose’s attention to detail and commitment to quality work. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about both the craftsmanship and the customer experience the way he does. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable compared to other companies we looked into, without sacrificing quality or service. If you’re looking for a roofing company that is reliable, trustworthy, and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend Aurum Roofing. Jose and his team truly go above and beyond. Five-star experience all around!”

“Update: Second time using Aurum and still highly recommend! They repaired my leaking front porch and caulked, sealed, and painted my entire exterior making a +10 year old home look brand new! They do quality work and can be trusted. Jose also shares a cloud drive of live pictures to keep you up to date every step of the project. They do a great job, use Aurum! Original Review: I had a leak in my master bedroom. I called out 4 roofers including my insurance adjuster. Jose from Aurum was the only person to do a full inspection, get all the way in my attic, and find the root cause. Everyone else just guessed at where the leak was coming from. Jose was very professional and did not try to over sell. He documented every step of the process. I could not get over how much more reasonable his price was along with how much more honest he was. I would recommend Jose and Aurum to anyone!”

“Jose and his team did excellent work. Clear communication and periodic photos as the work was being done so I was aware how everything was progressing. Jose was very mindful of my needs as a homeowner and having small children. Took special care to make sure all nails and material were removed after the job was done. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for my other properties.”

“Two years ago our neighborhood had a huge hailstorm. Somehow our house escaped unscathed, but only Aurum Roofing was honest about that at the time. Every other roofer (and storm chaser) that knocked on our door said the roof was trashed and they were eager to get the insurance claim. Jose at Aurum let us know we had about another two years left of shingle life and wear and tear on the roof. Now two years later, we called him back and he just installed our new roof. The quality of the materials and the work is evident. Jose and his crew were professional and efficient, and the price was reasonable as well! Roofers can have a bad reputation as an industry but Aurum Roofing is a business with integrity and won't try to sell you a roof you don't need. Any future roofing needs (repair, hail damage, exhaust fans, gutters), I'll be calling Jose.”

“Roof completed 4/29/2023 Aurum roofing is just amazing to say the least!!!! My father was a builder for 45 years and I haven’t seen this type of quality or care for the customer like Jose gave me during the process of my new roof. Very professional company and his workers all moved in synchronization with each other getting the roof completed with the garage under eight hours. Aurum way more than I anticipated for the money and made sure the job was done correctly the first time with top quality!!! Thanks Jose”

“Got my roof replaced by these guys after getting three quotes and they did a phenomenal job. On time, start to finish within six hours, fair, honest, very friendly and local, willing to go out of their way to help you while dealing with the insurance. Thank you so much to Jose and crew!”

“Jose of Aurum Roofing replaced my roof and installed cement board siding on my entire house. They did an excellent job. They were courteous and respectful. They had great attention to detail and demonstrated pride in their work by making sure everything was done right. They were also extremely competitive in their pricing. I would recommend them to anyone and I will definitely use them again in the future. You can see before and after in the image below.”

“Did a great job with the roof, was fast and professional! Added some tube skylights which really brightens up the space! Love his work! Jose was very patient and kind, a pleasure to work with!”

“My wife and I own multiple properties in Austin and we’ve hired hundreds of companies and contractors over the years for anything you can imagine. So, I’m just going to come out with it. Aurum Roofing is the best company we’ve ever contracted, for anything, PERIOD. Firstly, the communication with Aurum Roofing was outstanding. From the initial inquiry to the completion of the project, the team was always available to answer any questions we had and kept us informed throughout the process. Our roof project was considerably complex as our home is a flat-roof with many levels to it, skylights etc. (see pic) in addition to it having been botched up by the previous roofing company who didn’t have the expertise required. As far as quality of workmanship, we could not be more impressed. The crew arrived promptly each day, and they were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout the entire project. They paid close attention to detail and took great care to ensure that every aspect of the job was done correctly. The project manager was a master roofer himself, a fantastic coordinator and had everything figured out down to a science. We were also impressed with the overall value p”

“I needed a roof replacement after the most recent hail storm. I contacted Aurum Roofing via their website and Jose contacted me later that same day. He provided a written estimate less than 24 hours after he inspected my roof and was able to schedule the replacement the next week. They also repaired some siding that was rotten. The price was fair and the final price did not exceed the estimate. My new roof looks fantastic (they even added some attic vents!) and the customer service is top notch. Jose is a very nice guy and he made the whole process stress-free. I highly recommend them.”

“I cannot express how highly I recommend Aurum Roofing! Jose answered every question I had, and I had plenty! He is immensely knowledgeable and accommodating. I normally get at least 3 bids on home projects, but Aurum was the first and only company I contacted because I felt so sure that Jose and his crew were the best, particularly after talking with Jose and after reading all the 5 star reviews. Jose went above and beyond in the installation and did as he told me he would do. He took care of my home as though it was his home. He noticed that my dryer vented into my attic, definitely a fire hazard, and he installed a roof vent for my dryer--so grateful for that! The crew arrived at 7 a.m. and was finished by about 6 or so that day with everything cleaned up and back into place when they left. Every time I look at my beautiful roof, I am thankful that I found Aurum--just the best!”

“I was in insurance for almost 10 year and worked with many roofing companies around Austin. Aurum Roofing is hands down the best roofer you will ever find. We used Aurum Roofing to replace our roof vents, repair our roof and add a gable for proper drain off at our fireplace. Jose came out for the estimate and was prompt, professional, honest, and polite. When it was time to start the job, Jose was wonderful communicating with and setting up a day. He and his crew did an outstanding job. They even took the extra time after to make sure everything was cleaned up after. Jose is very knowledgeable and the estimate was spot on. I was so impressed from the beginning - and even more so, after the job was done. I highly recommend you use Aurum Roofing for your roofing needs,. They do solid, high quality work at a price that is very, very competitive, and are honest, committed and hard working.”

“I noticed what appeared to be a water stain on my bedroom ceiling and called Aurum Roofing for an inspection. Jose was very friendly and professional we scheduled for him to come out at his next availability. About 30 minutes before our appointment he called to confirm and was very punctual. I showed him the water stain and he inspected our attic to identify the most likely source of the leak, then he went on the roof to have a closer look. He sealed everything up and even touched up a few other vents. My experience with Jose was excellent, he was very knowledgeable , thorough, and exceeded all expectations. If you need a highly skilled, honest, and professional roofer then I highly recommend you call Aurum.”

“This is a late review! We had a roof replacement after the hail storm a few years ago. Aurum Roofing was recommended on Next Door and local to Pflugerville so I reached out. Jose is super kind and responsive! He had great communication throughout the process and flexibility with my insurance in getting the payments processed so we could settle the invoice. He and his crew got the roof done quickly (in 100+ degree heat!), cleaned up everything and our roof still looks great today. Prompt follow up on the additional gutters as well. Amazing service from Aurum Roofing. I'll trust them with any roofing needs I might have in the future.”

“Jose is the best roof guy in town. His team was very efficient in replacing and installing the roof. They kept the area very clean. Kept me informed of the whole process and updated me with pictures. Excellent quality and workmanship. If there is another crazy hail storm, he is the first one I would call. He is very honest. I highly recommend Aurum Roofing for any roofing work!”

“I am so glad I found Jose at Aurum roofing. From the first day where I needed a quote, he was able to squeeze me into his schedule to take a look and get me a quote. He also took the time to talk to me about the repairs needed and to give more information than just sending a quote over with no context. Jose was able to take care of my repairs in one day and sent some great before and after pictures which relieved a lot of my anxiety. I would say overall Jose is a great communicator, trustworthy, and thorough. I would recommend his services to anyone. Thank you Jose!”

“We needed our roof replaced after the hail in April 2021. We had heard of horror stories about contractors (leaving a mess after roof replacement, partial work completed and left with deposit, etc). We did our due diligence and met with multiple roofing companies. Jose with Aurum Roofing was the 6th and final roofer we spoke with. He immediately made me feel comfortable with the process. He was the only roofer to give me an estimate based on the surface area of my roof instead of asking to see the insurance claim. The other roofers wanted to see how much was the insurance claim so they could "base" their estimate on that number. This may seem minor, but I felt better that he didn't try to scam us out of money. Another positive, Aurum Roofing is based here in the Austin area with plenty of great reviews. If there are any issues, they are right here in town. They completed the work in a timely manner and my yard was clear of any debris. Also, I love how Aurum Roofing didn't plant one of their business signs in my yard. Again, its minor but all these little details made for a great overall experience. I could go on and on to say how extremely happy we were with Jose and Aurum Roofi”

“Aurum roofing provides high quality work with excellent customer service at an affordable price. Jose came to my house on a Saturday to provide a free estimate for multiple roof leaks. He evaluated the work, and because there was rain in the forecast, he suggested he could put a temporary patch on my roof to mitigate the leak until further repairs could be done. He did the work for no compensation with no guarantee that I would accept his bid. Several days later we agreed on a time and price to complete the repairs. The work was high quality, done on time and exactly the price we agreed to. After the repair, I had other contractors come to my house to bid on an unrelated chimney issue, and 2/3 commented on what a good job Jose did on the roof repairs. The quality, service and price provided by Aurum Roofing were top notch. If I ever need roof repair or replacement I will go with Aurum, and I will recommend them to my friends and family.”

“Jose was fantastic! He was very responsive, offered to come early for our appointment, and talked us through everything we needed to know about the health of our roof. He was honest about what needed to be repaired and what didn't, and we appreciated that so much. We felt heard and valued and we are happy to give our business to Aurum.”
