Canyon State Roofing & Consulting

Canyon State Roofing & Consulting runs as a family owned outfit right in Phoenix handling roofing work for homes across the area. They have put in over twenty years on the job and built up a solid list of local customers by sticking to straightforward service without extra layers. The focus stays on roofing repairs and replacements that fit the demands of the local climate where intense sun and sudden weather shifts hit roofs hard every season. Homeowners here know that ignoring small issues often leads to bigger leaks or full replacements down the line so this crew keeps things practical from the start.

Roofing crews from this company handle inspections to spot damage from constant heat exposure along with full installations using materials built to last against UV rays and monsoon rains common in Phoenix. They manage tear offs of old layers then put down new shingles or other coverings while making sure vents and flashing stay sealed tight to prevent water entry. Jobs often include fixing storm dents or patching areas weakened by temperature swings that crack surfaces over time and the team works to complete these without dragging out the process for the homeowner. This approach keeps daily routines moving and addresses the real wear that desert conditions put on every roof in the city.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up under tough conditions with crews showing up on time and finishing without cutting corners on quality or charging extra for standard fixes. Fair pricing stands out along with clear updates throughout each job so homeowners know exactly what gets done and why. Speed on repairs and solid results on long term durability come up often in feedback which builds the strong reputation over years of service in Phoenix. DIRT Score 4.9 from 148 reviews on Finds.

“From my initial discussion with Jim McLain to working with Miguel Beltran who oversaw the entire roof replacement, there was a solid understanding of what is likely the best tile roof replacement at a reasonable price in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. They’ve got it down to a science. The materials were professionally predelivered to the roof - perfect. A large new black trash trailer was delivered next and placed on one side of the driveway. The team then showed up in one vehicle each morning at the break of dawn. Three to four days is how long it took for my medium size home’s roof to be replaced like new. The workmanship is incredible, easily visible in the lines and patterns of the roof. One great experience.”

“We were impressed with Jim when we first met to discuss replacing our roof. He was very knowledgeable and answered questions fully. The price he quoted for our job was in line with the other estimates that we received but we felt more comfortable with him due to his years of experience in the roofing industry. Miguel was in charge of our project and he met with me as scheduled to pick out the materials. He guided me toward the product that seemed most appropriate for our job and not just the most expensive. He helped me figure out the color that would go best with the colors of our house. The team arrived early on the day scheduled and started right away on removing the old roof. I was amazed that by the end of the day they had completed the entire roof replacement and were cleaning”

“We are very happy with canyon State Roofing. Everyone we dealt with from jim McLain, the owner and estimator to Miguel, the job supervisor and the guys on the roof, were true professionals who had the answers to all my questions. The cost was reasonable, and I could not have asked for better service. They went out of their way to be available and prepared and worked very hard to complete a full reroofing job in a day and a half, finishing before the heat set in, and within just a few days from estimate to completion. Mighty impressive, and flawless work from what we can see from the photo history they provide and by looking from street level.”

“From the very start, it has been a pleasure working with Canyon State Roofing. Jim's initial meeting was clear, focused and addressed all important aspects of the project. The followup quote was concise and clearly showed what will be done in three different cost scenarios, which significantly facilitated our decision process. The best part was that Miguel and crew were available to start the work in only a few weeks once we signed the quote! The project went as planned, the crew always started on time and worked diligently completing the work in a record time while still managing to maintain quality of execution and a great attention to details! The new roof looks great and we are very happy we have chosen Canyon State Roofing to do the job for us. We are highly recommending Canyon State”

“I do my due diligence and spoke to a handful of roofing companies. When I met Jim at Canyon State Roofing, I knew I found the right people. They were knowledgeable and no gimmicks. You know the call in saying “hey I got Gio here and what’s the best we can do for him” and so on. They explained everything and no hidden fees. They came here everyday from morning to night working. I felt very comfortable with everything. The management team would come down and see the progress and answer any questions. They do things a lot of companies wouldn’t do and I appreciate them for it. I 100% recommend Canyon State Roofing for your roofing needs. I already have a couple of my neighbors setting things up with them as well. Great job everyone!”

“Jim personally showed up to inspect the roof and provided a quote the same day. Miguel was the project manager and he communicated regularly to keep me updated and informed on the progress. He came to the site daily to ensure quality. Pictures were provided on a daily basis so I could see the work being done. They were able to begin immedialty and were done as promised in 4 days. These guys worked so hard, especially in the heat of July. The entire team and process was professional, and the work has been exceptional. They were neat and took care of my property while they were working. I highly recommend Canyon State Roofing for any roofing needs. You can't go wrong!”

“Outstanding job - highly recommend! Our roof needed replacing due to some areas of rotting wood. Jim from Canyon State Roofing came out and gave us a quote with different options and price points and explained the scope of the work to be done. Miguel was the foreman who supervised the work and gave us daily updates on its progress and answered any questions we had. Jim and Miguel as well as their crew were very professional and did a fantastic job replacing our roof for a good price. We were impressed with their attention to detail in placing the tiles and the quality of the underlayment and repair work was excellent - the roof now looks better than it did before! Thank you to Canyon State Roofing - we're very happy with your service!”

“Jim, Miguel and their team did a wonderful job on our roof. Jim did a detailed inspection and gave us many options on levels of repairs. Miguel, the project manager communicated often and throughout the process, they took many pictures and explained all our questions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.”

“The crew from Canyon State Roofing replaced the entire underlayment for my home built in 1998. The owner Jim McLain explained everything when he came out to give us a quote. His crew did an excellent job with very good clean up afterwards. Every thing they did was on time. I highly recommend them if you’re considering roofing work.”

“Miguel and his crew were top notch. They arrived on time every day and worked extremely hard. We were kept up-to-date daily on the progress and were provided many drone shots of their work. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and we have received many compliments from our neighbors. We are so happy that we chose Canyon State Roofing!”
