“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Tim Ellis is the man (attached is his card—call him!). I was really not looking forward to replacing my roof. A lot of contractors came by, but Tim won my trust and made this whole experience incredibly easy. He’s excellent at managing his team and completing the work swiftly and professionally. “I just had a second roof replaced by Blue Hammer, and every step of the process reminded me why I chose them the first time too. First of all, Zane is like Ja Rule and Ashanti-- always there when I call, and always on time! He was punctual and communicative at the initial appointment, dropping off shingle samples, and for meeting with the insurance adjuster, (pointing out damage they hadn't noticed!) I also feel like Zane's ability to quickly build rapport helped me get a better outcome from insurance than I might have otherwise. Speaking of insurance, the Blue Hammer team sorted through every line of my estimate to make sure I was getting the best outcome possible. They communicated with insurance multiple times, and I didn't have to manage that interaction at all. “I can't say enough good things about the entire team at Blue Hammer. My insurance company originally denied my claim (not surprising) but Blue Hammer persisted- they were tenacious on my behalf. The insurance eventually agreed that a new roof was justified. Blue Hammer's communication was amazing - discussed the whole process, made sure I understood their differentiators in their materials and how they do their work and the plan for installation day. On install day, they showed up on time and went to work. My quality control manager for the project (Jerry) kept me updated all day with photos and videos. They did amazing work. They finished right when they said they would. A few of the things that really stand out, besides the awesome communication, is their level of detail. On installation day, they put plastic and/or wood barriers around the whole perimeter of the house (fence, AC units) and even covered the pool, in order to keep our area free of debris. “I honestly wasn't sure if my roof needed to be replaced, I saw the guys replacing my neighbor's roof, and I approached to them, and they asked me if I wanted to get my roof inspected. I said yes, why not, a few minutes later, Tim showed up and checked the roof, after he showed me the pictures of the damage in my roof, just by providing him the insurance information, he called and started the claim. He even showed up when the insurance adjuster came to see the roof. The day of install I received pictures updating me of the process from tear down to putting the new materials on. “An experience to remember; my roofing experience with Blue Hammer was nothing short of exceptional and the real appreciation goes to Zane Coleman. I was aware that I perhaps needed a new roof, but not sure just how bad. I got home from work one evening and found a card in my door, it stated that I had a few shingles loose on my roof and that he would like to talk to me about roof replacement, and at the very least he would gladly stop by and nail down the loose shingles at no cost. Well that certainly was deal I could not pass up. We scheduled a time, met, he did what he said he would do, (nail down the loose shingles), and we had a conversation. In that conversation, there was a question of whether or not my home owners insurance would approve a new roof. Zane was certain that weather had been a part of the roofing issue, I asked could he get it done, he stated, it might be a bit of a challenge but that he could get it done. “A 5 star shout out to Blue Hammer Roofing for the stress free installation of our new roof. This was my first experience with a total roof replacement and needless to say a bit uneasy about it. I was tired of the fly-by-night companies knocking on my door pretending to be a top shelf company. When I started working with Jerry Gallow, my project manager, I felt at ease and knew this was the one. Jerry did a fine job getting it all setup. On the day of installation, Senior Quality Control Manager, Jerry Ponce, arrived a 6 am started getting things ready for the crew to arrive at 7 am. Jerry kept me informed throughout the install with texts, pictures and videos showing me the progress. Jerry also found a couple of issues previously missed and had them repaired. He even borrowed some windex and cleaned my skylights and removed the dryer vent on the roof and let me blow the lint out. The crew was completely finished by 4 pm including an excellent cleanup. My wife even asked if I had been picking up leaves in the driveway after they left. I highly recommend Blue Hammer and would definitely use them again should I need another roof.
