DAVID R WEAVER-U

David R Weaver-U operates a roofing business out of Sherwood, Texas, as a family outfit that started back in 1996. They stick to roofing work for houses and commercial spots across the area. Texas weather hits roofs hard with long stretches of intense sun, sudden downpours, and the occasional hail that tears up shingles or metal panels. Homeowners here often face leaks after storms or need full replacements when old materials fail under the heat, so crews that know local conditions and show up ready to work make a real difference without dragging things out.

They take on residential roofing installs and repairs, commercial jobs on bigger buildings, metal roofing systems, fixes for damaged sections or roof decks, and gutter cleaning to keep water flowing right. In Sherwood the crew typically arrives, checks the extent of wind or heat damage, lines up the right materials, and handles the tear-off or patch work in stages so the property stays protected. Gutter jobs often tie into roof repairs when buildup causes backups during heavy rain, and they focus on getting each step done solid so the finished roof lasts through another season of Texas extremes.

Customers give this crew high marks for moving quickly on storm calls, delivering solid quality that holds up without callbacks, keeping prices straightforward, and staying in touch on schedules and changes. That steady approach to both big replacements and smaller fixes adds up to the kind of results that stand out in local reviews. DIRT Score 4.47 from 26 reviews on Finds.

“Weaver roofing, created a great experience. Mr. Weaver came out and brought samples for us to look at and verify the colors that would match our house. When they returned a few days later as scheduled, he and his men went to work replacing our 23 years old roof with a brand new roof. They repaired the bad decking and took great care of our old house. When they left, our roof was complete and the yard was clean. They were very nice to work with and done a great job.”

“David and his crew did our roof back in March 2025. We talked to several people to find a good roofer who would be honest and at a fair price. David was recommended by a commercial roofing company. I can say everything went smoothly and he got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend Mr. Weaver to anyone who needs roof work.”

“As a Realtor my list of the best contractors is the absolute most valuable thing I have in my back pocket. Weaver Roofing is the ONLY roofer I will personally recommend. David and his crew have completed probably 20 or 30 roofs for my clients over my 7 years, and I have never had a complaint or needed them to go out for a fix. I trust David immensely for his experience and knowledge and his ethical mode of doing business. On several occasions he has told me that a fix is actually not necessary. Other times he might suggest a lower cost alternative than a full replacement. And when a replacement is needed, I find his prices absolutely fair and competitive. Absolutely give David a shot at winning your business!!!”

“David came out to repair our roof. The weather was calling for snow t he next day. He spent all day in the cold to get the roof done. David went to extra mile and took care of some other issues. We heartily recommend David for your Roofing needs.”

“David has been my roofer for several years now. Always prompt and thorough. Reasonable priceing too. I highly recommend this company.”

“David and his crew did a great job on our roof. They were able to complete the job in 2 days while we were on a short trip out of town.”

“We are very happy with the work that Weaver Roofing performed. He gave us a very competitive bid, and the workmanship was the best. They had to repair several places on the roof. I appreciated the fact that they didn't just work around it. The work was done right. The crew worked very hard and completed the job very quickly. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the work was done. My wife commented that of all the projects we've hired out over the past year, this is the one she is most impressed with. I agree. We highly recommend Weaver Roofing for any roofing repair or roof replacement.”

“Weaver Roofing did an outstanding job on our new roof placement! We were, and are, entirely pleased with the work from start to finish. David was thorough in his initial assessment, very reasonable in price, and cleanup afterward was impressive. I would highly recommend this roofing company to even my closest friends! Thank you, David!!!”
