Gryphon Roofing & Remodeling

Gryphon Roofing & Remodeling operates from Tempe, TX and focuses on roofing work for homes and businesses throughout the surrounding area. They carry the necessary licenses including ROC 137495 and ROC 280305, stay bonded and insured, and offer financing options to make larger jobs manageable. Recognized as the 2024 Contractor of the Year, the company has completed millions of square feet of roofing now protected under warranty and ranks among the most reviewed contractors handling these projects in the state. Local conditions call for crews who know how to address both routine maintenance and bigger replacements that stand up to intense sun and occasional storms.

They provide residential roofing and commercial roofing services that cover shingle roofing, tile roofing, foam roofing, and metal roofing installations along with repairs and full replacements. Crews start with site assessments to match the right materials to each structure, then handle tear-offs, underlayment work, and final sealing to prevent leaks. Homeowners often call them after hail damage or when aging roofs begin to fail, and the team works to keep projects moving without unnecessary delays while coordinating with insurance when needed. The same crews also manage remodeling tie-ins that connect new roofing to existing structures.

Roofing crews in Tempe face constant heat that can shorten material life and sudden weather shifts that test flashing and drainage on both older homes and newer builds. Customers consistently note fast response times when leaks appear, solid workmanship that holds up over seasons, fair pricing that avoids surprise add-ons, and clear updates throughout each job. These patterns show up across hundreds of completed projects. DIRT Score 4.84 from 781 reviews on Finds.

“Ran into the owner of the best roofing and remodeling business in town! Russ and his team at Gryphon are the most punctual and high quality service providers I have used and know. I highly recommend using them, not only when there is a problem but call and ask them to INSPECT your roof. Protect your investment before the sun damage causes leaks during our monsoon season.”

“This was my own replacement money, so I didn't want it to go to any 'ol Dirtbag Slick. After meeting with 6 companies over several months, Gryphon is not only the ONLY one I felt comfortable touching my personal home, but the only roofing contractor I will now recommend to one of my own handyman customers. They are no B.S., Brooks Bryce was straight up and the Production Manager, Luis, made me feel valued.”

“Gryphon took amazing care of my dad during his recent roof replacement. They came out quickly, gave a clear and honest assessment, and walked him through the entire process. The communication was consistent and easy to follow, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. My dad is not someone who gives compliments easily, but he was genuinely impressed with how professional, responsive, and reliable the team was. Highly recommend Gryphon to anyone needing a roofing company that truly shows up for their customers.”

“Gryphon Roofing has always been professional, responsive, and great at communication. The owner is attentive, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about providing a great customer experience. A trustworthy company that clearly takes pride in what they do.”

“Our home is adobe style with a flat roof, which was in need of recoating. We were referred to Gryphon by a friend and engaged them for an estimate. Brooks came out, reviewed the current state, discussed what was needed, and answered any questions we had. This type of job being as expensive as it is, we contacted another company for posterity. Their estimate was not only more, the scope wasn't up to the same level as what Gryphon prescribed. We scheduled the job to be done a couple months later when it made sense for our schedules, which Gryphon was happy to work with us on. When the day came to begin work, their staff showed up on time, was friendly, and maintained a clean work area. The initial job took about 3 days. After it was completed, I had a few concerns regarding some undercoat”

“I've had Gryphon out a few times to help with walkable deck repairs and other roofing issues. I find their prices very reasonable and am happy with the results every time. Thanks again for the great work!”

“We had a leak in the living room after a good wind and rainstorm so a friend of mine recommended Gryphon Roofing. I spoke to Russ about our issue and he had a technician out the following week to take a look. He was able to fix the spot on the roof and made some other repairs and recommendations for our older roof. Very happy with the results and their team. They also installed the flat roof to our new cabana in the backyard.”

“Gryphon is really helpful when it comes to answering questions or explaining what is going on. The office staff id really good at answering the phones when we need to make payment. They were helpful when sending pictures over. They call for scheduling and if the date does not work Luis is very understanding and gave me s date that worked better for me.”

“I needed my roof replaced and called Gryphon Roofing to get an estimate. The office staff was super easy to work with and had Brooks my sales guy contact me a couple of days later. He did a complete inspection of the roof and went over all of the details with me of what needed to be done. He was able to give me a written estimate on the spot and I was able to get the job scheduled a few days later. The crew that did the roof work were amazing. They were supervised by Damian who was on-site several times during the two-and-a-half-day process. Damian was great to work with. He explained every detail of the job as it moved along and kept me informed during the entire process. He answered all my questions and was super to work with the entire time. I had a few cracked tiles, but Damia”

“Gryphon office staff were fantastic. They answered all mine questions and concerns. They got back to me right away.”
