Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric

Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric runs its roofing operations out of Tucson where the focus stays on practical fixes and installations for local homes. This family and veteran owned outfit has handled roofing work since 1979 and knows the demands of the desert setting. Homeowners here face constant sun that bakes shingles and tiles while occasional heavy rains test every seam and flashing. The crew shows up to inspect damage from heat expansion or wind driven debris then matches the right materials to keep interiors protected without unnecessary extras. They cover both repair calls and full replacements on houses that need roofs built to handle the temperature swings year after year.

Roofing services from this crew include leak detection around vents and valleys followed by targeted patching or complete tear offs when old layers fail. They install new systems with proper underlayment and ventilation to cut heat buildup in attics during peak summer months. Jobs often involve matching existing tile or asphalt styles on pitched roofs or applying coatings on flatter sections common around town. Crews arrive prepared with the tools to strip old material haul it away and lay fresh layers in one pass where possible. Homeowners call them for storm related fixes or routine checks before monsoon season hits and the team works to finish without dragging the project across multiple weeks.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up under daily use and the crew stays on schedule with clear updates from start to finish. Reviews highlight quick arrival times solid material choices that resist cracking in the heat and pricing that matches the scope without added fees after the fact. Quality shows in the lack of callbacks for the same issues months later while communication keeps owners informed on progress and any site findings. DIRT Score 4.88 from 3774 reviews on Finds.

“Jordan was efficient at inspecting all the parts of my HVAC unit. After 8 years of no service, I needed a comprehensive review and improvement plan, which is exactly what I received with clarity, patience, and understanding. After deciding what I could tackle right now with my situation and finances, he was able to start some improvements immediately. I am grateful for a maintenance plan that will help me in multiple areas of my home, providing security and peace of mind.”

“Fantastic experience working with Intelligent Design! Erik and Adrian are skilled and knowledgeable. They worked together with a fun and confident demeanor. Erik listened during the consultation and understood the electrical work we were needing to have done in our space. When he and Adrian returned to complete the work order they did so without any issues. Truly was a positive experience working with them both. Bonus stars for their attention to detail and cleaning up before leaving! I am attaching a few photos of a small part of the work they efficiently completed.”

“I am the type of person who gets a bit anxious when new people come to do work in my house for the first time. Making an appointment was very easy. Erik H. came out to do an estimate for the work I wanted done. His appearnace (dress and demeanor) was that of a consummate professional. An appointment to do the work was set up soon thereafter. Erik H. arrived exactly when he said he would. He was personable and communicated well. He performed the work in an organized and professional manner , was was respectful of property, making sure each area he worked in was clean before he proceeded to the next. He was knowledeagble and instilled confidence in me that the work was performed properly. Upon completion, he made sure that I was satisfied with the work performed and whether there”

“You absolutely should have intelligent design do any service you need, do not look elsewhere. I had a previous hvac person perform a cleaning (no where near intelligent design performance of deep cleaning) which he did 20 minutes of work and only made small change compared to intelligent design actually making my house cooler then it ever has been before. I have signed on for their membership so they can help continue my preventative care for my home and would urge others as well. Thank you personally to Jordin and Dominick”

“Anthony was amazing! He was very professional and had a great personality. He came checked out our water pressure, water softener, and our water heater! He then switched out or kitchen faucet very quickly and made sure everything was to our liking. I would definitely recommend him for your next service!”

“Daniel put in our tankless water heater a few months back and came by today for a minor repair under a bathroom sink. Always pleasant and upbeat. Nice to have around and he knows what he is doing on our plumbing.”

“Best customer service you could wish to have when it comes to HVAC. Noah is polite professional respectful and down to earth guy. He walked me though the repair process and explained the process of how the component failed. He shared preventative tips on how to keep your system running smoothly. Highly recommend all the support staff with ID were polite and professional and there responses time couldn't be beaten by 2 other companies”

“I had a hot water heater and toilet replaced, among other things. My service was excellent. And that is all due to ANTHONY BROWN who went above and beyond to fix everything, give excellent advice, and work around my schedule. Anthony is the very best: friendly, professional, a kind and generous man. I won't have anyone else. Ask for him by name! He will not disappoint!”

“We had a leak at the meter, and had Tucson Water out then Intellegent Design came out. This team was efficient, thorough and got the job done in 1 day! Very respectful of property. We have had Intelligent Design for years and they just don't disappoint.”

“We are so impressed with the knowledge of Logan and Emily. With the horrible experience with Strongbuilt, it is refreshing to have a reputable company as Intelligent Design handle our dangerous gas leak situation we have had for 16 days with our gas being red tagged from SW Gas. Logan and Emily spent an extensive time with us explaining details and all our options. We thank these two and the company as a whole for their assistance. Best regards to all. Jim and Linda”
