About

Cen-Tex Roof Systems runs roofing operations from Elm Mott, Texas. They handle the steady demand for roof work in central Texas where storms, hail, and heat cycles wear down shingles fast. Homeowners call when leaks appear or after weather hits hard, and the crew steps in to assess damage and line up replacements. The company stays focused on straightforward installs that hold up under local conditions without extra layers of hassle. They keep crews moving on residential properties around the area, handling both full roof jobs and related fixes that come with the territory.

Chris Low meets customers on site to walk through options like standard shingles versus class 3 or class 4 impact resistant ones, pointing out how some insurers offer discounts on the tougher grades. Jason Cummings takes initial calls and gets plans set so work starts right away, while Tony Lenoir works alongside the rest of the crew during installs. They put on new roofs and gutters even when storms threaten, adjusting schedules to finish before rain arrives. Reviews note the crew keeps things moving through the whole process, from first contact to final cleanup, and sticks to fair pricing that matches the scope without surprises.

Customers keep coming back because the team delivers quick responses, solid quality on the finished roofs, and clear updates at every stage. Speed stands out when jobs wrap before bad weather lands, and communication stays direct from the first call through the end. Pricing comes across as reasonable for the materials and labor involved, with no push to upsell beyond what fits the house. Quality shows in the clean installs and the way details like gutter work get handled right alongside the shingles. DIRT Score 4.78 from 234 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

From my initial call to Jason Cummings for some information, the ball was rolling until the job was complete. I was contacted almost immediately, met at the job site, worked up a plan and it was executed in incredible time. Jason and this company are professional start to finish. They will be my go to guys from here on out.

Chris Low went above and beyond to take care of my dad, getting his new roof and gutters installed quickly—even while working around incoming storms. His dedication, responsiveness, and quality work really stood out. I highly recommend Chris Low for any roofing needs!

Chris was excellent to work with. He provided 3 price options, standard, class 3 & class 4 shingles He took time to explain the differences and noted some insurers provide discounts for class 3 & class 4 which are more impact resistant. We checked & our insurer did provide discounts. We chose to go with the Granite Black, class 4. Chris scheduled the install for the first day of clear weather that week. He let us know the crew would come as soon as it was light. The shingles were delivered an hour before daylight & the crew showed up once it was light. They went to work quickly. They placed tarps over the shrubs & around the house before starting the tear off of the old roof. We left for a while & received a call to let us know some decking needed replacing. They also found the source of a leak we had was from a broken vent pipe. When we returned home, Jackson, the site supervisor showed us pictures of the decking & broken vent pipe they were replacing. He was friendly & great to work with. Once the roof was complete they cleaned up & rolled around the house several times for nails. The roof & new vents look fabulous & we’re happy to have the source of the leak repaired. Thank you Chris, Jackson & the whole crew for a job well done!

Excellent communication before, during and after the process. Great work and awesome results. Absolutely fair and reasonable pricing. Chris Low, Tony Lenoir and the entire Centex crew are the GO TO group, for sure!!!

We've been living in a new barndominium for two and one-half years, and began having a leak around a vent stack that runs through our metal roof. When we built, the steel / metal installers wouldn't cut holes in the metal for the vent stacks that are required to meet code. They cited how the plumber is responsible for that as he best knows where they should be placed and the diameter of the holes to be drilled. The plumber gladly handled that; however, the plumber wouldn't carry the responsibility of booting and sealing the vent stacks, citing how that's a roofer's responsibility. So, we paid a roofer for that, and since, we've faced a leak that's damaging the ceiling in our garage. Following a recommendation from my father-in-law, I called Chase Mallard with Cen-Tex Roof Systems. While our problem is obviously a very tiny job for Cen-Tex, Chase treated our little problem as though it was as important as any other job. His responsiveness, professionalism, honesty and fairness is truly remarkable. He diagnosed our problem and explained the best solution within ten minutes after arriving. What resonated through our conversation is that Chase is proud of his company's reputation and the integrity that he, his bosses and teammates carry to their customers, regardless the size of the job. I've never been "sold" on one roofing company until now, but Cen-Tex Roofing Systems is, and will be, my roofing professionals. These folks are awesome! Thank you, Chase, for taking great care of us!
