When I bought a BYD EV and increased my PV capacity about 2 years ago, the natural choice was to upgrade to a 15k. A few weeks ago I started having a recurring error. “To whom this may concern: It has been about 8 months now that we have been living off our New Solar Set up. For 19yrs we lived off of 16-6 volt batteries and 6 - 450w solar panels. Our new system is 36 solar panels at 430w each and 16 - 5.4w Fortress Max batteries. We recently had a small glitch in our system and reached out to both SolArk and Fortress for advice. Today we had a short teams meeting which Trevor and Josh were on with me. All thought we cannot really determine the cause of generator stating when not required, we did accomplish setting the SolArk inverter to once a week for 15mins for Mondays at 8am. Josh was also able to set the battery discharge limit to30% for generator demand to come on in solar failure. Ben Thomas has been very helpful with our needs as well as Cristopher. SolArk is very lucky to have US Solar as a partner Robert, Andrew, Alyson and his team speak very highly of SolArk and the great relationship that has arisen from working together. “Francisco (level 2) was able to diagnosis my solar inverter system issues in five minutes. Sadly, my installation company in western South Dakota wasn't as proactive or knowledgeable as Francisco. Francisco is very professional, efficient, and delivers a high level of customer service. My Solark system is now five years old and 98% of the time works perfectly.”

The support agent I got was Chyna Jackson. She spent over an hour on the line with me working through reconfigurations, and she opened up a support ticket with L2 tech support to get everything back on track. “do yourself a favor, and chose a solar co that appreciates your business..one that will treat you with respect...when there junk inverter takes a dive in less then 3 yrs..i did buy everything from missouri wind and solar...trevor was as helpful as he could be at mws...at first the all weather connectors gave me issues...every 6 mo one or 2 would loose contact...then xmass of 2025 the sol ark k12 inverter started giving weard readings at the info read screen...they had me jump through bs hoops for 4 months...by that time when we had grid brown outs..the inverter no longer did its auto off back on thing.i had to turn it off for it to run the house on dc...when they told me..they would send another k12..but i would have to pay 300 in shipping and 2200 dep while they take there good ol time to ck the unit out..then trevor @ mws corrected me...he said..what they send is not a new unit like the one i paid for..its a used broke inverter that was repaird...i hit the fan...in the real world..you buy new and it fails during its warranty..you get new again...not some junk that already broke..and who knows how well its repaired?? ..i drove 1100 miles handed them my junk and they gave me there ”

“I started this solar venture 18 months ago, I started with a 24volt system for my chicken coop. And now my whole house is on solar. From the start everyone was talking about sol ark. I can't say enough good things about my sol ark 15k inverter. I call it a super computer from nasa. I love it.”

“I have a 15K Sol-ark which is exactly what I needed(flexible). When it's working my expectations are met ,does everything I need. I've had an ark fault issue since new ,which shuts down the system. It's progressively getting more sensitive. I have check all 120 connections of my system and I have found loose connections (no visual signs of arc) . But the arc fault still shows up. My panels have been covered in 6" of snow with 0 production and gone down on arc fault. In the middle of the night arc fault. I'm pretty sure the arc fault board is faulty (lol) and offered to buy a new one to try. But I have had little help from Sol ark support they just don't have the knowledge. They use AI to respond to your inquiries and close the tickets before the issue is resolved. Poor overall. But I still love my inverter ☆☆Update☆☆ So my little review here got me the attention I needed . I got a senior tech who looked over my system drawings. He pointed out almost immediately that optimizers were not supported by Sol-ark and that I should turn them off. Wham faults gone no issues. Thank you Dalton.”

The all in one nature of the Sol Ark, and it's amazing capabilities, made the process overall very manageable.
