“Do not use! They never finish the job despite promises to come back and finish, the owner Dusty also charges more without notifying you of the actual price before starting the work, we have been left without a response for months after following up with Dusty several times. And it looks like we are not the only ones he did this to, based on all the other reviews. Do not recommend.”

“Dusty did great work! He was very speedy, particular, and professional. There was a section of our fence that was a little different than the rest and he problem solved to make it look seamless. It’s a quality job that is extremely well-priced. We highly recommend him to anyone needing fence work.”

“It's was ok until Dusty Smith realized he didn't install the 48 inch wide gates that I paid for. My push mower barely fits through the gates Dusty installed, see included measurement pic and invoice. After making him aware of it through phone calls and texts, he promised make it right. Here we are a couple years later, still within the warranty period and nothing from Dusty Smith. Went from a five star to a 1. Fence, ok. BUT... trying to get them to correct their admitted mistakes from over 2 years ago......good luck. We paid for two 4 foot gates to be installed. The two gates they installed measure 28 and 29 inches. Called and talked to Dusty several times, exchanged texts and all with the promise of correcting it. I have even told Dusty if he makes the alley gate correct, I'll be ok with it. Still nothing. If you like rolling the dice with your hard earned money, this is the company to do business with. Dusty, you can still make it right. “WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible service we paid for our brand new fence and have warranty on workmanship. owner has not yet responded to my husband or myself. I have sent pictures and asked when he would come back to fix horribly welded gates and one gate was the wrong size that was repaired by adding a longer metal! 🤦🏽‍♀️ an employee cut into one of our buildings that’s supposed to be taken care of as well. He has replied a few times saying he would come out to fix when he has a date available but then continues to ignore messages when I follow up sent asking when he will be out to fix the issues.”

“It has now been 5 months since I posted the review below. The owner finally contacted me and was not happy with the review I left. Now he is refusing to honor the 5-year warranty and will not fix any of the problems (gates won't close, one gate made too small to get my mower through, very light staining, wood splitting and boards are breaking). Go somewhere else and get a better quality fence. CON: Not impressed overall. We spent $18K for our fence. I had to repeatedly have to ask the two workers (both who have since been fired) to fix something. Broken board were put on, pickets were not properly nailed down, gates were made too narrow, etc. Just not happy for the money spent. I have sent several text messages and phone messages to the owner (Dusty Smith) and he will not return any of my calls or fix the bad fencing. I had to repair several of our gates so they worked properly. Now I'll need to replace all the bad wood. PRO: I did receive a 10% military discount, which was nice, but I'd rather have a better fence. From what I was told by someone, two new guys were hired, after the last two knuckleheads were fired, and these two do a great job. It would be nice if they were ”

“The owner (Dusty) sent two guys out to my house at 5:45 in the evening on the same day i called,,,, & they dug & set 5 wooden posts in an hour & 20 minutes in a perfectly straight line with no string,,, just by sight & perfectly level side to side... Wow !!! Great group of guys at Amarillo Fencing & Stain. I highly recommend this company...”

“I put up my own fence in mid 1980's. It lasted 30 years. Never had a post break. I hired Dusty in 2018 to tear down and put up new. I could never get him to come back and stain it like he said he would. He did come back to fix one loose post, but there were more loose ones. At this time the south and west side of my fence is about to come crashing down. One way to compare quality work is check all your neighbors fences. They all held up fine during these wind storms. I would stay away from this guy!”
