“Got solar! Power was hooked up at the beginning of the month and it is looking pretty good for our electric outcome. Lumio has been very helpful throughout the entire process. We didn’t have to do much and all needs were quickly met! Great customer service. Let me know if you need an agent, I’ve got a contact for you!”

“Terrible company. Lies and incompetence, poorly installed systems with unlicensed people doing it for as cheap as they can find. Misleading and cannot install a battery or ground mount to save their life’s. My wife and I have a system with them and it didn’t work for the better part of a year - biggest mistake was going with Lumio, solar is a good product but only if you go with a reputable installer with integrity. This is not that company. The system they installed started a fire and it took us 7 months to get anyone to respond to anything and we paid for solar plus electricity for months.”

“Discovered a roof leak in the garage after they had a contractor put the panels back up after some roof repairs from hail damage. Since this was in the garage and we rarely get rain this went unnoticed for some time. When it was discovered the roof of our garage had developed mold. Very unresponsive to emails and calls. After submitting a detailed damage report it took over a month just to get them to hire a contractor to come out and plug the hole in the roof. Still haven't heard back about them paying for mold remediation and not when I call the number it says they are unavailable and to leave a message. My first call was September 17th and as of Oct. 30th I still have never had them call me or email me with any real information as to what is going on.”

“From the moment I contacted Lumio about the benefits of Solar it has been a positive experience. They explained everything I needed to know in terms I could understand. They took time with my back and forth of yes and no to my final yes. From there it was constant contact as to where we were in the process, even during my freak out times when I felt things are moving slow they made sure I understood it’s not an overnight project. Installation day came pretty quick and the team was right on time, friendly, prepared and considered my dogs would need to be outside occasionally. They kept me up to date with everything they were doing and left zero mess when they were done. I’m excited the folks Lumio were so amazing, took their time with me and were professional but more excited to finally be off city electric no more walking around in the dark to try to keep costs down and be somewhat self sustaining.”

“Sales personnel Ryan Atkinson & Makaio Provoost were great. They did what they said and made sure everything was correct before installation. The installation crew was not good. The one installer couldn’t speak English and the crew lead didn’t show up until the job was almost finished. He was only there to install the breaker panels. The mounts are supply to blend in under the panels , but they don’t because they are aluminum colored instead of black like they’re supposed be. Not impressed at all with the installation crew! “9/24/23: UPDATE TO MY UPDATE As it turns out, the Lumio installer who punched his foot through my ceiling never actually filed a damage report, despite the fact that it's his job to do so. Finally, one of the office employees noticed and sent me a Google form to fill out. I appreciated that, but It's still baffles me that they had to take nearly three weeks to finally send someone to fix it. I attached a picture of my busted ceiling that he covered with a trash bag and duct tape. EDIT: while I do appreciate that Lumio at least responded to this comment, sadly, the experience has not been any better. I was given two different dates as to when the inspection would be happening. I eventually found out it was on the 21st, so I went back to my house to wait for the inspector. After he was over an hour late, I called one of the representatives and he told me "we had something scheduled for then, but the guy who is supposed to do your inspection is not picking up his phone or answering any text messages". So I have no idea what's going on, but if this is the best Lumio can do, I'm pretty shocked. Spoiler alert, he never showed up! Furthermore, the account manager they mentioned either t”

“I’ve had my solar panels for months now and, given all the excessive heat warnings, I can say it was worth it! Wasn’t sure if it would be a good investment, but Mr. Julius L. helped answer the many questions I had before committing to it. The process was simple and Lumio had my Solar Panels installed in about a week. Julius made sure I didn’t have to worry about anything but saving energy. They even took care of the HOA/City requests to make sure everything passed. I highly recommend Lumio, and when you do, make sure to ask for Julius!”

“I have wanted to upgrade my home to solar ever since I noticed increasing delivery fees under my TXU power bill. I couldn’t come to terms with the fact that I have been seeing zero return on the tens of thousands of dollars I have been spending on electricity. Going solar is a big decision that requires research and various quotes to make sure you’re getting a fair deal. Lumio Solar based out of Arlington we’re the ones who showed me the best value and best overall price. I was able to upgrade without spending a single dollar upfront, and I was able to qualify for the tax incentives while saving $43 a month immediately and $95,000+ in the long run. They gave me the best panel available with the newest inverter (iQ8 plus) and it did not cost me extra. The install was done 11 days after I signed up and my system was activated 8 days after the installation. All in all it was a great job. I’m working on getting you guys some referrals!!”

“Great experience with this company. Lori was great with us everything was as she said and she was there to answer any questions i had every step of the way. Installation and process went very smoothly and completed in 4 weeks. She even help me find a good electric company that gave me good rates. After the project was completed Lori still has been checking up on us making sure there isn’t anything we need. That says a lot of the great costumes service she has provided for us. I would recommend this company and her to anyone looking to go solar.”

“UPDATE: While the install was done quickly and efficiently, I have now been paying on a system that has yet to operate. My install was completed over a one month ago, and was fully inspected by 2/21 (one month ago). Since then I have been left watching the panels produce beautiful electricity, and knowing it is all going to waste because Lumio has failed to file paperwork. I have called, emailed, and sent text messages, and the response is always that they are "forwarding this issue". Meanwhile, I have called the power company (who Lumio is quick to pass the buck on), and they have been waiting for just one signature all of this time. There is no movement. So I just sit here, message after message, paying for a system that is not hooked to the grid, and watching all of that energy go to waste. So much for environmentally friendly!! ***Buyer beware... 40+ days after a beautiful install, and the company is non responsive. Better Business Bureau should be watching these guys!!*** Such an easy process! Our salesperson was great to work with- walked us through all of our options, worked with us to find solar for our budget, and always kept us up to date with the process. In”

“Advertisements for solar panels are everywhere. I’d been interested in learning more but did not know which company to contact. My salesperson, Lori Paul popped up in my neighborhood and caught my attention at just the right time. We set up an appointment and everything went as planned. She did a wonderful job at educating me with energy/solar panels and lined out a time line of events on paper so that I could know what to expect and when. I appreciate the follow ups throughout this whole process to assure that everything was on the right track. We received permission to operate in Dec 2022. Even after everything has been completed and operating, Lori has been available to help me understand more information and make sure my home is set. I feel satisfied with the Lumio team and experience thus far.”

“At first it was great. Our sales guy connected us with Michael who would be handling everything from then on. Initially he was very informative and answered all of our questions. But as soon as we signed the contract it became harder and harder to get a response from him. Now it's been over a month and absolutely no response from him. We just received a bill from our previous electric provider when we should've been off of their plans for over a month now. Not to mention the obsurd amount of time it took to have the solar panels installed. We still have quite a few questions bit no one to answer them. Customer service can't help me and I have no way to contact a regional manager or corporate office. Beyond upset with this companies lack of customer service. Would not recommend whatsoever. Plenty of other solar companies that can provide the same price with better service.”

“*Edit 9-17-24 - No one from Lumio has called. So I called them. They told me that there is no movement on my issue. I am hoping you have better info than I do. Also, why am I getting updates form my Google review instead of someone calling me? The worst solar company out there. Once they get your money they want nothing to do with you. They recommended a company for buyback program that doesn't offer a buyback plan anymore. On top of that, when you have a service related issue, it takes them months to get anything done. I needed someone to come look at my meter and they just refused to come out. I hired a third-party electrician to come service Lulmio's solar!!! Do not get scammed by the empty promises of their sales reps.”
