“When I was younger, I remember driving by Stitt on the way to school. It makes me feel good to do business with a local company that has been in business for many years. Nothing against newer companies, but the staying power gives me greater confidence and attracted me to Stitt. Stephen helped me from start to finish in planning and strategizing for a system that met my needs, based on my energy consumption history. The install team worked to complete the project and the entire team worked with the city inspectors. Once installed, Stephen made sure I knew how to operate the app, which shows my consumption, how much the system is bringing in and how much the battery is used or being charged. I'm really happy with my system and look forward to a long relationship with Stitt.”

“Our system was installed and online at the end of September, 2024. I have been waiting until I have seen it perform in all weather conditions to write a review. Prior to commitment to an installer, I did research and obtained quotes from several installers over the last few years. Stitt was not the lowest price, but close. Only two of the installers I received quotes from exist now in August 2025. Out of business. Stitt Solar is the one that has been around the longest. I am familiar with their work, so I felt confident in working with them. Our system is 17.7 kW solar plus a 13 kW Tesla Powerwall 3 and Tesla gateway. We don't own EV's, so this system is for our household energy use only. We have a history of using a lot of power from time to time. The Powerwall 3 wasn't necessary, but I decided to add it because it can and does run our whole home from dusk until dawn if fully charged. Their electrician Jared integrated the new system with our existing 22 kW natural gas whole home Generac generator such that they play nicely together. “We had Stitt install a solar system last year. They were very professional and did a great job. We then decided to add more panels and a battery backup system. The process was just as smooth and even with a glitch in the software. That was corrected quickly. Everything is working great. We looked at a couple of other companies and did not like how we were treated. Stitt was very helpful and answered all questions truthfully. “You know. A few years ago when I had my solar system installed, I posted a 5-star review for Stitt Solar. I was proud to support a local company and had a generally positive experience through the install. However, service after the sale leaves a lot to be desired. Last summer I had a line of panels go offline due to shotty workmanship and the only way it got fixed without a sizable service charge was to file a complaint with the owner. Now this summer a panel cracked from an overtightened bolt and I'm being told to claim it through my homeowners insurance because they are refusing to cover it under their warranty. Stay away from Stitt. I'll be filing an additional complaint with the Better Business Bureau.”

“We've had two Stitt Solar projects installed on our property. The first, in 2018, was a solar water heater which was installed on our barn's roof for our 35,000 gallon swimming pool. The second project was a 10.6 MWh solar electric (photovoltaic) installed on our home one year ago in Sept 2020. There are two things I'd like to share regarding our experience with Stitt Solar and their products. First is the quality of their work. We were quite impressed with the level of detailed thought and effort they put into both installations. They were meticulous! The crews they brought out inspected their own work many, many times and when I asked them about it they told me that they want the quality of their projects to be as if they were installing the system on their own home. “I worked with Stitt Solar last summer (2023) to install a rooftop solar system that is grid-tied to my local utility. My experience working with Stitt was positive. Several things stood out to me during this experience. First, their solar team was knowledgeable and were able to answer my questions in a manner that was easy to understand. Second, they worked with my local utility and governmental agencies to handle net metering agreements and permitting which made the entire process easier for me as the consumer. Third, their installation crew did the actual install in one day with no mess left at the house. Fourth, the install looks clean and neat both at the panels and the electrical connection points.
